The only big issue (apart from kickoffs and corners) with the previous version of the game was that R1 dribbling was more overpowered than defensive jockeying, so defenders could not keep up with the speed of attackers.
Quite literally the ONLY thing that was needed was a slight buff to jockey speed. Just that.
The issue with this patch was that it was turned all the way up, while R1 dribbling got turned down in return, flipping the imbalance.
The game is now back in the same state as FC 25 was (if not worse), where people can rely on brainless AI defending and get away with it because of both the defensive buffs and the attacking nerfs.
