You're defending the stupid idea that a game that averaged 10 goals per game wasn't unbalanced. That's obvious; anyone knows the game was unbalanced.

It was just spin-and-spin goals with people messing up during the controlled run (R1).

Now, you have to use your brain to a minimum to play; that's the problem with crybabies.

Yeah 10 goals but 7 are EAIDS goals. With unlucky bounces off perfect standing tackles. Corner goals, kick off goals and deep block counter rats gliding past your CBs because you can't jockey... One of the most important skills for defenders. EA please ignore these kids. Bring back a nerfed version of R1 controlled sprint. That's all for now.

EA the only issue is R1. That's great. I never thought I used R1 until i found myself instinctively holding it to exit dribbles. When in the box and marked out I kept looking for a way to accelerate just a couple into the gaps without losing the ball to get clear for a shot. I do love that everyone has to actually try to exploit opening and break an opponent down with passing. Please keep the jockey buff permanently, defending is fun when you play a balance style and manual defending should be rewarded. Just give us like 25% controlled sprint in a way we can use it to transition out of skill moves and dribble quick through gaps in deep blocks.

Yes, realism is somewhat important.
But i cant understand how you can find playing against the ai defence while your opponent controls their cdm Fun.

Great work EA listening to the community and not just the sweats. Good update. A step in the right direction. But pls fix fidget spinners next.
Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground.

Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.

Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.

I truly believe you have made this game considerably worse for the average player.

I have players such as Salah and Raphinha who can not get away from any defenders, yet my defence opens up immediately when defending.

Super balanced, goals should be scored through passing and breaking lines, not spinning like a freaking bay blade, game is super balanced now pass around more guys goals are easy to score.

I have no problem with the idea of passing more, but I have zero interest in running around with a CM and not defending with their players. All of a sudden their CBs act like they have 95 pace

Oh yeah 100%. I get basically 11 wins each week on champs, doesn’t usually matter what team I use or anything, I’ll get 11.. every now and again might have a good weekend where things click

R1 is a mechanic to punish tackle spams in the midfield. Now everyone just spams and the cdms recover too fast to blow by, it's just dumb.

The Jockey and tackle spam mechanic needs a way to be countered, which has to be R1, because left stick is too slow and R2 leads to less control, which in return also rewards spamming tackle.
