#R1 needed a SLIGHT nerf, not to be made unusable.

R1 only needed a slight nerf to speed, but it also needed a slight BUFF to the number of touches so that it could be like a faster left stick dribble. This nerf did nothing to increase the number of touches, so R1 dribbling is now slow AND unresponsive.

Either revert the change, or make players take more touches so that R1 dribbling is more smooth and responsive when making slight changes in direction.

Great work EA listening to the community and not just the sweats. Good update. A step in the right direction. But pls fix fidget spinners next.
Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground.

Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.

Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.

Fidget spinning doesn’t need a nerf. The jockey buff offset it. The only changes they need to make is to buff R1 slightly (preferably by making players take more touches and have better change of direction while R1 sprinting) and to nerf AI defending by simply making AI players less compact in the final third. CDMs not sitting in the CBs’ laps, back four not holding hands, etc

it was absolutely over-nerfed. I don’t mind the speed nerf, but players take such heavy and spread-out touches even with the PS+. It worked perfect last year, as it was about maintaining close control and being able to change directions while dribbling slightly faster than with only the left stick

Honestly I like finesse shots. They seem to work well, at least from the top of the box. Could be a little better from that Salah wide angle outside the box though. But near the center, just outside, they work pretty great
