Remove Assisted Shooting from Competitive Preset

Please remove assisted shooting from competitive gameplay. I don’t understand why it’s still included, especially after the semi-assisted adjustments made to most passing settings. In my opinion, everything within a competitive environment should be set to at least semi as a minimum.

This, Precision shooting is a good feature until it became useless because assisted is "too good" and "too easy".

Not really, if assisted shooting were removed from competitive gameplay, you wouldn’t see people taking random shots for fun. The game would feel more authentic, which is what we’re all after, proper build-up play and sensible decision-making. We all want to enjoy the game, and that’s what offline modes are for, where you can customise the settings however you like. But online competitive play should be exactly that, competitive, with at least semi-assisted settings as the minimum.🫡

normally the game should be in full manual, that's why the game doesn't look like football especially since the players have cyborg stats. It's a game for children you close your eyes you make passes a cross a shot and goal, really the Fifa community in the vast majority at a very bad level without wanting to offend you

I wish they would allow us to play in realistic mode online and not just offline. I play with friends in a pro club, we're all in full manual mode and the assistance in the game is impressive, the guys we face face to face, I have the impression that it's EA who play in their places, the auto-correction on passes for example is abused, I see it when I anticipate passes to intercept the ball

Arcadish gameplay is reasom why many people don't want to touch fifa/ ea fc any longer, fast pingpong passing + assisted passing/shooting is main reason.

Great work EA listening to the community and not just the sweats. Good update. A step in the right direction. But pls fix fidget spinners next.
Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground.

Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.

Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.

FUMA is much easier in ea fc 26 than in fifa games 10 years ago, there is no reason to play with assisted settings these days, does not matter online or offline 😉

Yea I use semi for everything too but I still feel is mostly assisted, as said multiple times I would put everything in semi bar trough balls, those would be manual

It doesn't make sense for u to put trough balls on manual or anything else because the opponent will always have a huge advantage since theirs are assisted
But if you wanna do that, why not ig
Although again, as of rn it's just an handicap you put on yourself, game is already frustrating enough
I use semi everything online just cuz I don't feel like they pass to the right player most of the time with assisted

For real, assisted is plagued like that, it is much better on semi but at times I get that odd one pass that goes to Timbuktu 😂. I'll try the manual thing on squad battles for now and see how i go but leave semi for clubs etc. 👊🏾

Damn full manual on sb is also impossible because of how assisted cpu is, doubt it's viable
But for career with the right sliders, it's a good experience

It's harder but at least it's not like playing rivals or Champs.

Champs was just all counter attacks this weekend. If it wasn't that it was forced bounce backs and corners

The only losses I took this weekend league was because my opponents just started dropping deep to let the AI defender and did counters the whole time while spamming l1.

I'm not bad at tracking runners and the ball carrier at the same time but when it's 5 or 6 players sprinting forward at full speed every time I lose the ball obviously I'm going to concede at some point.

That still wouldn't be an issue though if I wasn't coming up against players that relied on the AI to assist everything. That just makes predicting the balls path is easier.

The accuracy on those random full power passes should be greatly reduced too. You know the ones where your opponent has just been holding A or Y in their box the entire time and then the ball magically ends up at their strikers feet so they can tap r3 and perfectly flick the ball over my defenders feet?
