Hey EA team,

First off, props for the new gameplay direction in FC 26 — the game feels a little bit smoother. You can really tell there’s a little progress compared to last year.

That said, the ball physics still don’t feel quite right. A few things stand out after playing a bunch of matches:
• The ball still bounces too high and too fast after tackles or blocks — feels more like rubber than leather sometimes.
• Shots and curves look way too clean. There’s no real sense of spin or weight; some long shots just float perfectly instead of dipping or moving naturally.
• Short passes go weird directions every now and then, even when your player’s body position clearly says otherwise.
• Long passes feel way too predictable in FC 26. It’s really hard to switch sides because the AI always seems to have a defender glued to my wide players. Every time I try to hit a long diagonal, the receiving player is already marked before the ball even gets there — it kills the flow of play and makes switching pointless
• Overall, the ball feels too light and too predictable — it doesn’t have that “real-world chaos” that makes football special.

You guys are definitely on the right track with the “Authentic Gameplay” idea, but the ball needs more realistic weight, friction, and spin variation. Small imperfections and randomness (based on contact, weather, pitch, etc.) would make the game feel so much more alive.

Please, keep improving this — the ball is the star of football, and right now it still feels a bit too perfect.

There are variations based on weather and pitch, some shots float perfectly because they are knuckle balls most likely, they don't make the ball rotate
As for long balls, agreed
But I think it's an issue on how fast the cpu tracks the ball, which isn't just an issue related to long balls, they are way too precise on the ball everytime, that also makes authentic worse because you rarely feel physicality or tackles
