Every time I play a squad battle match to complete the full throttle objective, I get kicked at the end of the match and it’s not like I put down my controller or anything. I played the entire match. I scored over 20 goals in each match and every time I have gotten kicked at the end of it. Let’s start with the obvious: gameplay is inconsistent and frustrating. One match your players feel responsive, the next they move like they’re stuck in mud. Passing goes nowhere near where you aim, defenders randomly switch off, and goalkeepers either turn into superheroes or forget how to dive. It doesn’t feel like skill decides games anymore — it feels like luck, scripting, or momentum swings.

Then there’s Ultimate Team, which has become the biggest problem of all. It’s no longer about building a team and enjoying progression. It’s about:

Constant promos every week
Overpowered cards that make previous ones useless instantly
Pack odds that feel ridiculously low unless you spend money
It’s basically a pay-to-keep-up system, not even pay-to-win anymore — because you’re always chasing the next upgrade.

And let’s talk about pack addiction mechanics. The flashy animations, the limited-time promos, the “just one more pack” feeling — it’s not subtle anymore. It’s designed to hook players into spending, not enjoying football.

Other game modes aren’t much better:

Career Mode feels neglected year after year with minimal real innovation
Clubs/Pro Clubs gets small updates but still lacks depth and meaningful progression
Volta had potential but feels abandoned and directionless

There’s also the issue of servers and online performance. Lag, delay, and inconsistent connection quality make competitive play a joke sometimes. You can lose games not because you were worse — but because the game literally didn’t respond properly.

Gameplay is horrendous passes feel so heavy and scripted they barely go in the direction you aim but a few days ago gameplay was just fine why do they keep creating this horrible cycle of good and bad gameplay to keep us hooked dumbest thing I’ve seen just keep the gameplay consistent and well played no matter the promo but this is DEAD
