Some of these messages being directed at the devs 🤦, these people literally cannot make the game better, 90% of the people that created the base layer of this game dont work there anymore, EA is putrid place to work and the FC project is one of the worst to be part of.
There's no investment to make this thing better, it needs serious work to essentially re-write from the ground up but there's 0 investment. There was hope with the NA World Cup happening that it might push something but the risk/reward of spending money and changing the fundamentals of the game just isn't seen as worth it from a business POV, it still makes obscene profits and store packs and player cards cost relatively nothing to create and just print money.

hey i feel the same way. in the last couple of days it has got exponentially worse. it's 100% scripting in my opinion. you can tell at minute 10 if the game's scripted for your opponent. unless they start going on solo runs with their keeper or straight up go AFK, you ain't winning that match. this is the biggest problem with the game by far.

I’m playing Seasons, not FUT, and once I won all the cups and became a 5-star player, the scripting 90% of the time feels like it’s against me. Sometimes I play against a Div 4 player who just runs with the ball and shoots from weird angles, and everything works for him. For me, even the shortest pass is hard to pull off. I can have Haaland clear on goal, and he takes a very mediocre shot straight into the goalkeeper’s hands.
The algorithms in this game are so absurd. I think it’s just metrics and AI optimizing for longer time on the ball without enough restrictions on how far this can go. Seriously, rubbish.
