They've really introduced some EA BS into the latest gameplay tweaks. CBs just go absolutely dead on an incisive pass into a pacey striker. It's like it's pre-determined that the defender isn't making it even if you anticipate the pass.

Also i never ever ever complain about button delay but there is a noticeable lag resulting in players doing completely the wrong action because you end up over-compensating for the bad input

Fix the fact that everyone now defends without their brains and just uses advanced defending with bruiser+ spamming the button. Also note that when using tactical defending you almost always give away a foul when going body to body.
The first time through balls to the wingers is impossible to defend even if you cover the run with meters infront, the game just slow you down or the ball just goes by your feet is your player doesnt have intercept+.

I don’t believe DEVs will see this. If they do, I don’t believe they care. But I played the FIFA series for literally 30 years and know I thing or two about soccer. I almost gave up entirely with last years EAFV but decided to give another try this year. EAFC is the WORST soccer game I ever played. Here are the top 10 reasons

1. This game’s “momentum” effect is beyond manipulative, if it’s exploitive. 95% of games are decided on the first or last 10 minutes.

2. The laws of physics are nonexistent in this game. Players and, worse, the ball, moves and reacts in way that only scripting can explain.

3. Top players features have always been…questionable. This game makes a mockery of it. Jude Bellingham is the slowest player on RM. Salah somehow forgot how to shoot the ball. Haaland can’t head the ball. not sure if it’s simply ignorance about these players or gross incompetence

4. Saving new tactics/formations is hit and miss. This glitch has been persistent since the game was launched. How can you not fix a simple save issue?

5. No mater what formation you set, defenders are easily fooled by balls over their heads/defensive line, and MANY questionable plays are not replayed when they were very likely offside

6. Goalies. Do I have to any anything else? Whoever worked on goalies in this game NEVER played soccer - and it’s incapable of matching their real life skills. Courtois is horrific in this game, for example.

7. Win a few games on a roll and now matter how good you are, you will start losing. Badly. Somehow your team will forget how to play, defenders legs will be made of stone, forward will miss easy tap ins, you will hit the bar 2-3 times per game. Once again, scripting is just gross in this game

8. No Brazilian national team? Can’t call itself a real soccer game without the 5 times World Cup champs. Same issue with world clubs where clearly money dictated which clubs should be included. I would expect this from FIFA. Guess EA doesn’t care about having the strongest clubs and national squads in their game either

9. How can EA justify not fixing the loopholes that allow for rage quitting? I’ve played COUNTLESS games where I’m beating the opponent by multiple goals, they quit, and I don’t get the points. That happens with SO MANY players. EA either does not know how to create a game where players are not cheated out of their wins or simply does not care. I believe it’s the later.

10. WORSE issue with this game? No refunds. That’s basic market rules. Even a cheap acne cream from the corner pharmacy will offer a discount if their product don’t live up to what’s advertised. This game is GARBAGE and I am yet to hear of anybody who wants a refund, getting it. Delete the game, make the costumer unable to repurchase for a year…anything, but offering a refund within a reasonable timeframe is the least any company can do, especially when they fail to deliver.

Hi guys im new to football in general but especially to FIFA/FC, FC 26 is my first sports simulation game: I’ve mostly just been playing bots as to get a grasp of the game. I’m good enough to win semi-pro around 3-0 to 5-0 consistently but when I get to professional difficulty I feel like the difficulty spikes like crazy. I think I just want to know some general pointers. What’s better ways to defend and improve my playing? I notice that whenever the enemy team gets the ball they’re just far better passing than me and I can’t really seem to get it unless by luck or stupidity (like standing in the line of a poorly placed pass).

I've never commented in here before but you're wasting your time, those employees left and EA cannot get that game back, I was at a work event over Xmas with some of their marketing guys in the UK and some of the stuff they said even as a massive hater I couldn't believe (but ultimately can 😆 )

Man i just dont undestand that all the people say online that fifa 17 was the best and EA is just the only that cant see that . The game us so engaging and so good to play and i just want that to be Back again and if we make to noise and share that maybe they see even if the possiblity is low. The budget isn't there for any sort of serious work to be done on the main game engine, most of the people working on FC don't want to be there even from a marketing POV people don't want to be on the project as its seen as tainted for your CV.
