Hey everyone, I need advice.

My Steam account was compromised back in Nov 2021. I recovered it, but during the breach someone linked their EA account to my Steam. I had never linked an EA account myself.

Now when I try to link my own EA account, I get:
“Your Steam account is already linked to another EA account (ru****@gmail.com)”

I’ve contacted EA Support 10–15 times. They refuse to unlink unless I can access that unknown email, which obviously isn’t mine. Steam confirmed they can’t fix EA linking.

I’ve now filed a formal consumer grievance, but I wanted to ask:
Has anyone actually gotten EA to unlink a wrong account, and what finally worked?

hi, well, right stick switching is the biggest skill gap in the game so have you mastered it or do you even do it?. Been highly unpredictable (attack) really helps (visa versa predicting for defence )and frustrates your opponent. So many ways really. GL

good for you with the RSS, I only started 1 moth ago RSS so looking forward to mastering it. The space, could be a tactical setup issue or you need to mover the ball faster to up thr tempo giving your opponent less time to react. The manual L! run trigger so just timing - keep at it. Resist the most obvious two passes if need be, shield the ball well (enforcer playstyle helps) and pass t back and start again - really frustrates your opponent.

I just played an entire game with a bs visual glitch saying i’m not actively playing the game going on throughout the entire ninety minutes in a promotion game , on top of that my opponent still gets dda goals ( bounce backs off my defenders ) while i can barely see half of the screen because of the visual glitch that appears and it’s supposed to be acceptable? This game started off so well. Along the line, EA brought back rebounds, AI defending, removed GK movement (I'm not mad at removing GK movement, but what's the logic of removing it and then making the GKs so terrible that they dodge shots in the game?). Now you play people who use their cdms to chase you all game and the AI defends for them. What has this game become? I honestly don't blame EA cos the other football game competitors are also not doing anything special.

As a lifelong and loyal fan, I feel the need to be honest. Over the last two years, EA FC has completely lost its identity. This is especially disappointing considering you are the only football game with full league and player licensing, yet you fail to use this advantage due to unrealistic and poor gameplay.

Older titles like FIFA 16, 17, and 18 felt more realistic and enjoyable than the current new-gen versions, which makes no sense. The gameplay feels like ping-pong rather than football: constant 7–6 or 8–7 scorelines, players skating on ice, repetitive goals, zero creativity, and everyone abusing the same meta playstyle. Scoring no longer brings joy because every goal looks and feels identical.

Even “Authentic Mode” does not fix these issues. The game feels cartoonish, fast-paced, and disconnected from real football. While I fully support equality, mixing women and men in FUT with identical mechanics destroys realism. If women’s football is to be included, it should be a separate mode—not forced into a football simulation.

This is a football simulation, not an arcade game. Players like Kane or Haaland should feel superior to smaller, faster meta options. Because of these issues, I stopped playing before January and started trying competitors like eFootball, which—despite weaker graphics—offers superior gameplay.

My advice: rebuild the game from scratch with a new engine, even if it takes time. If EA continues building on this foundation, the series risks becoming irrelevant.
