I honestly don’t understand why they nerfed goalkeeper movement so hard, just because they listened to the most unskilled players. So now skill doesn’t matter? If I can read where a shot is going and position my keeper correctly, why am I being punished for that? Just because some players struggle to trick their opponents, when football is literally about deception?

And even worse: it’s not like goalkeepers were working properly in the first place. This patch is terrible. I’m seriously considering quitting the game if they don’t revert it or at least give keepers some mobility back. It makes no sense that instead of rewarding skill, they punish it and leave us completely exposed with poorly positioned goalkeepers.

FC26 started really well, and now it’s a mess. It’s frustrating to concede such obvious goals—shots that are incredibly easy to read. Now everything goes in. Goalkeepers only react to basic shots; they don’t respond to long shots or crosses at all. It’s just disappointing.

I’m not playing this week. As much as I love football games, I’d rather stay away than end up stressed and ruining my mood

The game Just reached the worst level of the year. A part from the changes to goalie, which makes the game even more random, is not clear at all how the gameplay work. It is the most volatile gameplay ever, some times only play with wingers works, some time only R1 dribbling. Defensive CPU changes every game and It is impossible to play without spamming offside, since the Defenders are not able to run back. Also there is no difference in a tackle made by van dijk or yamal, since the most meta thing is to run through opponent player instead off Press either o or x. At the same time phy seems to not matter anymore in standing tackle. At the same time the slow gameplay that i am facing since 2 days makes usless technical player like my bonmati or reijnders cornerstones or my pina cornerstones since there is and absourd input lag. If this was a meta shift I would be absolutely Happy, but this is not the case, since no attacking player seems to work, from drogba to zola. The only thing that matters to win now seems a meat Wall in front of the defense with anticipate plus so that CPU make all the work and then counterattack against Defenders that can do nothing except stand still and lose tackles or pass the ball to strikers, whom are not good at dribbling but phenomenal in intercept and tackling cdm

I'm guessing that the only chance many people here have the chance to watch football is when they play the game. So they destroy it if it doesn't fit their perception of what a Football Simulation is like.
EA makes Madden. Madden has its own ultimate team version. The gameplay of Madden is okay. Yet, it's FC players who help dumb down the FC game.
If the older FIFA editions look at what FC has become, they'll c*rse it.
This was meant to be a SIMULATION and NOT a game. But losers have taken it back to PS2 Pro Evo gameplay because they can't grow up from their basements.

Despite some glitches(especially for those of us on PC), it was a thumbs up to EA for at least trying.

Now, the same game we praised EA is now a cesspool because of obsession of cards and division rivalries.

I'm done with the game.

Even if EA brings Pele back to tell us "They listened to our complaints". I won't trust them.

Currently, their talking about open world.
How do we know if when the game launches, a section of the community won't complain about the sun shining too bright or the street surfaces being too hard or because they could purchase candy in the open world?

I've lost my trust for EA. Many gamers feel the same way.

One CPU player can carry all your defenders on on shoulder while scoring you without breaking a sweater

Since the CPU buff, goal post rebound has more assists, goal involvement and G/A than actual CPU players

Passes are incomplete.

If you're player is running with the ball, he loses the ball.

My massive issue with the CPU buff is that all the AI does now is hold possession forever and refuse to do anything risky to lose the ball until they inevitably score on you

Whoever suggested the buff just wanted to fiddle with something. I believe it wasn't part of the mission.
But, according to EA culture, something must be destroyed so that they'll have something to add to their next update pitch notes

On PC, you can't play second half. If the referee blows half time whistle and you mistakenly allow the game get to halftime menu and menu animations, it's bye bye fps.
The only to escape is pausing as soon as the referee blows the whistle, jump into Sim, then jump back into second half

And this is meant to be a $70 game?

You can't play champions League. It'll be as if the who gods of difficulty descended into the game.

Way too crazy, especially the double triangle feature. But definitely the last of the problems this game has. Ai defending, rainbow bicycles, insane rebounds off posts, strikers stealing the ball from the cb automatically, and the list goes on. In my opinion, if instead of completely nerfing to the ground anything the touch, they said “reduced of 10% when moving with R3 and of 20% when pressing double triangle”, it would be perfect and measurable
