I have a strong suggestion which I feel can work as a solution to many complications whole keeping it simple.

Wouldn't it be so good for the game if playstyles were converted into stats for example :-

1. SHOOTING 90
   Power shot 87
   Finesse 89
   Chip 82
   Low shot 81

2. PASSING 89
   First time pass 83
   Pinged Pass 85
   Lob Pass 84
   Incisive Pass 89

3. DRIBBLING 85
   Technical dribble 84
   First Touch 87
   Press proven 86

4. DEFENDING 87
   Slide Tackle 88
   Jockey 87
   Anticipate 88
   Block 87
   Intercept 83

Many people complain about the differentiation of stats and playstyles.

That way playstyles remain but the confusion of stats and playstyles is gone.

Things like shot power depends on how many power bars you take a shot with.

Attack positioning depends on the player roles and manual run triggers.

So i feel that those stats are irrelevant and outdated with the introduction of playstyles and roles. And it does need a regresh since it's been the same since years.

It's time they incorporate playstyles into stats in terms of numbers.

Look at the below example :-

Pina and a R9 can both finesse. Agreed!

But R9 finesse 99 / 100
And pina finesses 87 / 100
There is a stark difference between the two.

But with the current playstyle+ approach they both finish the same, which is unfair to legends like R9

I think EA’s hotfix has actually improved the gameplay a lot post patch.

Don’t get me wrong instantly after match tech dribbling was terrible but it’s actually not too bad.
Personally think jockey needs a nerf and interceptions need a buff to encourage more midfield build up.

this may be an unpopular opinion but given that defending in generally is more manual though the patched buffed ai defending massively an aggressive defending this year is 90% all manual which i have ZERO issues with someone who use manual settings but those who played heavily ai defending oriented in prev years they was crying for it to go back to that way cos it "more realistic" all i have to say to that is for ultimate team wise should be "competitive skill level based gameplay" anyone want realism go play career mode on the "authentic" gameplay thats why theres 2 different gamemodes or better off have 2 seperate match makings 1 for each "gameplay" where depending what its set on is the pool of players you will match up with etc like its with match making with co op you can search for solo and co op or solo only 😂 this game genuinely has so much potential and the inconsistency of the game play well that then just comes down to the games main coding of core mechanics idk if thats just me 🤷‍♂️

power curve only gets pushed if for example at start of game the promo valverde if he was considerably better than the gold it would had crashed the gold CM market right at the start but it didnt then they released easy obj packs to obtain throughout the game cos people just complain that fodder an coins wa too hard to obtain 🤷‍♂️

Ea needs to stop listening to the casual players that struggles in division 5-10. They should ask pro player teams, what needs to be patched/buffed. If you are removing every skill aspect of the game, what is the point?
Fc 26 the first week was the first time i had good fun on a fc game in a while, and the casuals complained about deffending, r1 dribbling, etc, and Fc ruined the skill aspect to the game.
Deffending should be hard, you are controlling 10 players on the field, AI’s shouldnt be able to steal the ball. Make the AI weak, to the point where it COULD steal the ball once in a while.
If they are removing gk movment aswell, they should remove all formations, only have 1 formation so the casuals can’t complain about different stratiges with different formations. Make so all the UT team players have 1 squad, and can’t buy or do anything, so everyone has the same team. Its so stupid, to the point where i stopped playing everyday after 1 week after the game was released. They ruined the game we needed, and now its a even worse copy of FC 25.
Make the game sowhat realistic, fix reeferes disicions even though what the score board says.
Fast players SHOULD be able to outrun slower players.
Buff R1 drbbling.
Stop listening to the players that play the game 2 hours a week, complaning about the game, when its a skill issue.
