Make sure the EA app isn't running in the background. Task manager and end task on any EA related tasks.
Go to the C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\ - right click Delete this folder, empty recycling bin and open the EA app again. It will ask you to sign in again. Open FC26 and the game shouldn't disconnect anymore.

This folder is like a "Cache" folder and will not delete your game. This fix worked for me and should work for you. Please keep in mind, if you come up against another PC user who hasn't fixed their game, you could still encounter issues.

Please provide feedback on this post so people will see it 🙂 Hope this fix works for you

Like everyone else, I was having problems with DC after every Rush/Rivals night. I tried repairing and disabling cross-play, but both options didn't work... I tried the following solutions: so far, I've played 5 Rush games, 2 Rivals games, and one weekend league, and I haven't played DC. 1: Uninstall the game 2: Delete the EA app 3: Go to My PC > Local Disk C > Users > [YOUR PC NAME] > AppData > Local > EA FC 26 folder and delete it. Also delete everything related to EA SPORTS. 4: Reinstall the EA app 5: Reinstall FC 26 6: Once the installation is complete, repair it. 7: Launch the game and the problem should be resolved. Two other PC users tried this solution, and it also resolved their issue. I hope EA can read this.

The issue with this comes when your opponent has 8 defenders in the box and you literally only get a split second to shoot. You literally can't wait for them to move

Since the patch, I've had 10x more shots blocked by CB/fullbacks controlled by the AI. I shouldn't have to deal with that as well as keeper movement
