Dude. Your take makes no sense. AI defense is too strong now, the game is one dimensional, posession play is dead, only counter and park the bus works in high divisions.

Defense is now so much faster and more responsive than attack, it's ridiculous.

You either get bumped by AI defenders all the time, or 10 men park at the opponents box. If that's what you want, then congrats, you got it, a one dimensional s... game with no skill gap, because you didnt want to learn to defend.

3 defensive patches in a row and the game is like FC 25. Now we just need speed boosts and trivelas from 30 meters again and the rats are happy.

Come on EA, have the balls and give us 30 meter trivelas back, so the timmys have everything they want.

Hey EA, I watch the intros to Career Mode games because I really like to see the formation I'm playing against, who plays for them, and who's in the lineup today.

As it stands I have about .5 seconds to see this. I'm lucky if I even get to read one name of the players on their bench.

If people want to skip the intros you let them skip it, but for those of us who actually enjoy watching them it's almost pointless ... we can't see the lineups for more than half a second. Literally.

EA really messed this one up. FC 26 was finally in a good spot — smooth, balanced, and actually fun. Then this patch dropped and completely ruined it. The game feels slower, heavier, and frustrating. Passes go off target, the ball bounces unpredictably, and dribbling feels sluggish. Everything that made the game enjoyable is gone.

Defending is way too strong now, and attacking is almost useless. Technical Dribbling doesn’t work like it should, and trying to get past defenders just gets you tackled instantly. Matches feel slow, defensive, and boring. The balance that made the game fun is completely gone.

The worst part is EA clearly listened to the wrong players. Instead of taking feedback from people who actually know the game, they listened to casuals who complain about losing. The result is a game that’s easier for less skilled players but frustrating and unrewarding for anyone who understands the mechanics and actually wants to play competitively.

The community reaction says it all. Reddit, forums, and Discord are full of people saying, “This patch ruined FC 26.” The game before this update was the best it’s been in years. Now it’s clunky, slow, and not fun. At this rate, don’t be surprised if EA drops it on sale before Black Friday just to get some sales while the community is still salty about the update.

Bro it was a skill gap. Because you could LEARN how to defend. And people were not doing 20 spins with pina they were doing 3 maybe 4 but not more. I actually learned how to defend and it felt good it felt manual it felt like I was playing with 11 players on the pitch. If I wanted to play another year of fc automatic I wouldn’t have bought fc 26. There is no skill gap anymore because it’s useless to learn how to attack in a game that has automatic defending.

It’s all about balance. Before people could R1 dribble through players throughout the entire length of the field - that is not realistic. Jockey was non existence. Defense is more responsive. It’s easier to stop kick off goals and corners
