I hope that it's some miscommunication on their part and PC will get to play in 2 hours as it was meant to be. But Steam seems to agree with midnight release. EA Launcher however is still saying that it is released on 25th... #hope.

i get you bro, but they didnt just buff defenders. They modified defending mechanics, to make them more strict and risky if you are being aggressive and not thinking through things

which is actually better situation, to reward players putting more efforts into sensible defending, lessens the toxicity

so, hang in there, adapt to new defending mechanics and enjoy better gameplay!
