Hey guys! I have a question. I bought Lamine Yamal, and I play with wingers, but with inside wingers, which suits me better. He has the ++ role as a pure winger and goes wide too much. If I play him as an inside winger, he'll still be able to play as a wide forward, but he doesn't have any + in the inside role. Will that work just as well, or is it better to adapt to playing with wide wingers to maximize his potential?

I think overall the game and the gameplay are good, but still not perfect – though definitely heading in the right direction. However, I do have a few criticisms.
1. CPU, DDA, or whatever you want to call it. In some matches everything feels fine, but in others my CPU teammates are completely broken – making dumb mistakes – while my opponent’s CPU plays like monsters. It’s as if all their players suddenly have 99 defense. That’s really frustrating and unfair, because my CPU feels like it’s set to beginner while the opponent’s CPU feels like legendary!
2. Pack rate is unbelievably bad! You barely get anything decent from packs anymore. It feels just like the TOTY phase, where you basically can’t ever pack a TOTY – same as the last two years. Or I open three different packs and end up pulling the same player three times. It makes me seriously question whether the stated probabilities are actually accurate!!

Please, please don’t bring out a patch!!

Big issue from last game don’t know if people have noticed that has followed to this game, is that in career mode, when playing highlights in a game which can end in penalty shoot out, game bugs out, less in latest game but in fc 25 game would freeze, in fc 26 firat thing I’ve noticed is it won’t freeze but after opposing team score first penalty, my goalkeeper will celebrate and penalty shootout will be over

Also fully believe for realism they should add vice captain roles so captains armband doesn’t just go to player being subbed in for captain, and also would help with small thing if they made it for cutscenes if you set captain even if subbed off he still is captain to lift trophy, also within game many bugs from last game still there such as editing players within the game if they wear gloves or any type of hand wear gloves/tape/wristband.

I was able to play for about two days. Then the game crashed and won't let me open it. Every time I try to open it, the application opens, completes loading, and then suddenly closes on its own and takes me directly to the EA app without any specific error message. Atm a lot of people complain abouut issues with PC. Mostly about controlers not recognizing input and fps drops. I have none of this issues on PC, however I can't play rush because the match never loads and I am stuck at black screen. It happens to other platforms too apparently [from what I read on EA forum]. Issues will get fixed probably, hopefully sooner than later and PC will be clear winner then in terms of performance. There is however also a case of cheaters and so if you want to play online draft or rivals... you gotta prepare for a bunch of cheaters, because even though there is anti cheat, there were cases of people cheating in FC 26 roughly 2 hours after release. Some never meet them, some face them couple times a week. And we are not talking here about "OmG he is better, he is obviously a cheater", but about cases where your players stats are downgraded to 1, while opponents upgraded to 99 - for instance.

Edit: So for competitive purpose console is probably better - less or no cheaters at all.

Yeah it can happen too. There may have some driver issues or some software running in background that causes that. Like I had many issues with a lot of games in the past where Discord overlay or Steam overlay were causing issues for instance. There may be a lot of causes and hardware is rather not a problem.

The funniest issue with cuase of fps drops I ever had was with TemTem. Basically a game that could run on a 5 yo mobile phone. ANd I had fps drops after like 5 minutes of playing. Cause? Mouse frequency. I had to turn it down to 125 Hz from 1000 Hz and it solved the problem 😄 Insane that such a stupid stuff can cause massive issues. So there is a lot to explore to fin a fix for the games not working properly.

In lower divisions, games have so many goals it's insane. Like 7-7 is a normal result. It kinda removes the feeling of playing a football game. I say find some sort of balance, not making AI defending too good, but not non-existant either...

I am at div 3 now and the defending is insane, I got used to it. Defending in this game rewards you it’s almost as fun as attacking. You have to anticipate, not begin to think when the ball goes to the opponent’s attacker. Just do not tweak the game too much early on.

It’s not tho, you don’t exactly get rewarded for it, if you’re using a second press with R1 and your player is close enough to sniff his toes it makes sense for there to be some sort of collision with the opposition or the ball
