Hello. My account has been bound to my phone number 1 year ago because of abnormal access problem and changing my login method was only way to solve this problem

Any way with recent event I contacted support and they told me because your account have been bound to phone it cannot be bound to twitch account thus rewards connot be claimed

Whoever set a 2FA or simply login with phone number, is unable to link their nc account with third party services (IE Twitch) and so we cannot get the twitch drops for this instance, but can probably lead to other issues aswell

what's worse, we CANNOT revert this change and go back to email login for whatever reason (theres simply no such voice in the account panel) so there we are.

You'd probably have better success following up from your initial ticket and ask support if they can remove the number manually for you and bind it to a new email address.

Same issue here, I switched to sms code verification in order to add extra security but I didn't know it will be the only way to login and not be able to use my email-id/password anymore. I can play the game fine since already logged in purple but when I try to log in the website because I want to link to twitch for the rewards it shows this

i cannot claim drops either, twich is not showing up as an option when u have connected the mobile..... I have already made multiple tickets about it and I have been constantly ignored

basically when u register with mobile, every other sort of connection ncsoft has with any other party's website is lost and u have no access to see it anymore, resulting in twich in this case, not being connected to the account

on top of that, i tried making another twich accuont and tried to connect it to my ncsoft account and i was getting an error too

You cannot exclude people with mobile login from twitch drops, especially when the drops contain a desirable outfit that cannot be obtained from elsewhere. This is infuriating. Not only that but once you change to mobile login, you cannot change back to anything else, not even change the phone number to another phone number (tried multiple times). I don't expect them to fix it at this point, since I've been sending tickets for weeks and I get the same vague answer every time, so find an alternative solution. Maybe manually send the drops to all mobile accounts without proof from twitch....

Not like he can do anything, this is how the whole ncsoft has structured their login through mobile.... they need to recode the website to fix it, something that cannot be done overnight.... hence why i said they should do a temporary solution and give the drops to every mobile account

@obsidian ermine for this issue, your team needs to refresh the API to trigger resending of the items. Some items get stuck in Twitch's backend systems (because the API calls aren't that great and only send once), this should help alleviate some issue sand should probably happen during a maintenance so your team can take a look at the sendings within your gmtool.

Was seeing if a solution would get dropped in here but I'll tell them to just contact support. They aren't in the discord
