i'm farming soul shields rn but i'm not sure what accessories I should go for because in the base game you would use and upgrade the stuff you got from story

how do you get siren weapon? is that one of the big ones i should go for?

So for accessories there's three relevent tiers

Blue (from ogong, spider, brightstone and pigsty), purple (small chance from the previous 4 dungeons, + drop in all purple dungeons) and legendary (poh and up, low chance). Blue is just a filler tier and not worth upgradeing.

Do your blue dungeon dailies (ogong, spider etc.), and try to get into parties for poha, chef and bad bug.

Thatll get you access to the purple ring, earring and necklace.

Do your faction dailies (cinderlands and moonwater, you need a certain faction rank to unlock the misty woods faction quests. Takes maybe 1 or 2 days of faction dailies) to get tokens to buy the weapon recipe to transmute a purple siren weapon. Theres a chance (20% daily) youll get your weapon from poha instead.

Sell excess purple accessories for 50 gems on the market, youll put those gems towards buying a purple bracelet, glove and belt. If you can get into a cold storage daily (40% for belt) you may be able to drop the belt yourself.

You can also do the daily quest from the new lunar zone for ~20 gems daily. (+look into crafting)

Your soulshields come from brightstone ruins blue dungeon or the profane jiangshi field boss

imo, best is hex storm cdr so you can get as much helix out as possible. Leech is good but you don't get much leech cdr unless you use mortal coil with sb every time sb is up so you gotta play a specific way to maximize it. Focus badge is the worst out of the 3 imo is mainly for comfort since it helps negate a majority of your focus issues

if you have additional damage mantras or other random damage bonuses it can throw off the counts

yeah i just do the calculations in my head whenever i hit targets tbh, no need for any dps meter or anything
