I feel like my helix build is eat up focus too fast so i make some test, and found that normally dimesion volley will cost 3 focus only in the first shot(red one) then 2 shot after are free. But if you have high ping and clicking too fast via macro, sometime it will shoot the first shot 2 times and cost 6 focus. So if anyone have the same problem, you have to tone the click speed down.

But then isn't this technically impossible because BnS always have to ping the server before any skill use, its should not allow this case to happen, but somehow it did? weird.

it's a pretty common thing, not a wl thing. to stack for dmg and forgo utility. You can absolutely grab those utility books if you prefer but they're optional. you don't need them. Plus there are only 2 you'd grab if you want that extra survivability/comfort. which are blue repulse and bastion (regular or hp recovery)

i tried the tap 3 during sb+leech for shadow, and it does have a better outcome than 3 after leech. I have virt badge and blue 3. It ended up being less instacast uptime but shorter time to leech. overall it will be marginal if you have the 9s cdr purple 3 and i wouldn't recommend doing it if you do.

Thinking about macro make me remember I have done some weird sh*t when I don't know how to set up macro in live many years ago.

I'm change the key binding by move [RMB] to [LMB] then move [4] to [RMB] and lastly move [LMB] to [4] So i basically shoot both volley and helix with mouse button and basic attack/Manta with [4].
