That's true, however keep in mind that if you're lvl 52 and you're fighting a lvl 60 boss, that's when you lack accuracy. If you struggle to build it up, you'll have to replace it later anyway with more CRIT.
I'd say to try and get your top accessories with poh psyche's, crit/acc and see how they feels.

I did 26k dps, a bit above 26k, and it was not enough. I was left with 800k hp and like 11 sec, however I died from poison in the end. ( I wouldn't have had time anyway )
So those numbers are not entirely true ( I know that ). They estimate, but still I was not able somehow.

I finally figured out why I couldn't use party stealth sometimes, despite it being off CD. When I use F roll (Retreat), and its on cooldown, I can't use party seedshroud.
Anyone else have the same issue? And also able to replicate?

and if you are rich for purple books and still want to stick with hornet:
raging lash depends on your team, i personally don't use it at the moment but there is some content where it's pretty useful
doom n bloom you can always lock this skill is only used for sunflower (and then you want gloom)
quite a lot of books are optional, like blue solidarity, i never used it but 5sec immunity is really nice
you can also keep using that instead of purple daybreak if you feel like you need the immunity
what's also important is your latency, if it's bad then definitely swap over to sunflower for purple
