whatever you equip, you are forced to convert. you can also convert books in your inventory/storage
if you have any tradeables, you should unequip. i think technically you can unequip everything, but each book you convert will need a ticket so you'll have to buy those
so it's better to just unequip those to save tickets

you can technically convert trash tradeables to leggy kick if you want, it will become bound. also this locks you out forever from becoming another class
