if it crits only once then wait 5 seconds. if it doesnt crit at all wait 8 seconds
before going into stage 3
otherwise it becomes super tight even with chaotic surge sp proc

another way to do it is to proc the cirt on avenging and use that with chaotic proc and x proc to go directly into 3
the main issue is making sure shroud is either fully rest on cd or it double crits

i took a look at your current build and put it in yast. Here's my opinion for you going ck/palm build:
Your next ck should either replace the bright comet strike or the single blue ck you have. this will give you the next gm effect. I wouldnt recomend using roaring tiger as your x while using the palm badge as thats a dps loss for your build.
you can actually remove both bright comet and volcanic to give you the remaining 4 gm you need for 30gm effect .

going off of your current build i have already removed 3 skills that are not neccessary:
compare this screenshot with what you had linked. i kept the volcanic on as the pull is not bad utility, personally the stun is better for me
chained mace, smite, pivot kick, are not necessary for you to upkeep sp
one small change i recommend all kfms to try is chaotic surge for sp procs
its a slight adjustment and youll need to be more proactive as far as reacting to attacks that normally you might be able to survive and not get hit by a cc with counter but with chaotic its different
you can put on 2 blue cks to get teh 18gm effect and have one more slot for another skill that youd like to keep
i do not like recommending chained mace once you become more experienced but it is great for beginners due, not to the cdr, but the focus recovery.
you could also instead use that final slot to put on z pull , this utility is great to have and your party will feel its benefits

For anyone below 48gm I recommend proccing tab fighting spirit and hitting shrouded as your opener, or first attempt avenging fist if you dont use everlasting blow

When you go to activate the next stage do it at 2 secss and before the last second expires you can click x to apply the stage. Example: hit shrouded and continue dps for 2 seconds. Then hit x to activate a stage.
3 seconds is the time before you cant apply a stack.
Click any skill that procs searing palm and watch it as it disappears and count the time
The image on screen of the buff can disappear but you can still apply the next stack.

What i do is x , r2ff r2ff , apply searing palm. That way your cooldown is reduced on roaring tiger or whatever you are using to proc searing palm
Also it helps when theres unfortunate moments , maybe boss is about to jump or attack you , now you only have to apply searing palm so your reaction is faster. But ideally you want to memorize the boss rotation so there are limited surprises

During VT-TT era Wind KFM was possibly the strongest DPS class in the game. Fire FM was pretty high up too, as was Fire Gunner.

But I don't reccomend doing it below 67, otherwise you miss your CCs
