Counter is overall better for tanking since it gives you cc resist whole sec after blocking and defense increase. Chaotic surge is slight DPS increase but there will come cases where you will die and you wouldn't have with counter.

pretty important since it allows you to do RF combo which means more cyclone kicks and more dmg, and if you run comet strike build, then it reduces comet cd really fast. However RF is still only possible when you can guarantee the crit, like during sp stg 4 or with crit bb. However it's not mandatory as purple Blood Strike is still very good alternative and can sometimes be better simply for the bleed which can help clear new content if no one else in the group can apply bleed consistently (guiding fist also applies bleed). Keep in mind that if you use Blood Strike, you should only be using purple Blood Strike, not green as you get less focus recovery which is not good.

I'm basically curious about the performance of various KFM builds.
Because Neo has very very heavily bloated HP alongside cards that provide regeneration / healing procs it's incredibly difficult to deliver the killing blow to an opponent that's not already under half HP even if you have all of your CCs up.
I've been messing around with the Shrouded Shadow badge and purple Shadows and Bright Comet Strike build, also ofc classical Leading Palm with stacking etc. Been trying Comet Strike dualshot combining with Tremor Pull + Firestorm to get them CC'd before they can move etc. Also tried to play Pulverize with comboing. However I really miss the traditional KFM full control build - Daze Flurry and Daze Comet Strike. I was curious if anyone has been able to achieve good performance in 6v6 with a full control oldschool build.

It's quite obvious that playing CC type Searing Palm is just a dream but I was hoping to mix and match something that would be "combo'y" enough to feel like I'm playing KFM again.

You can get ducked pretty fast if you miss your searing palm transition when playing wind, fire is easier since you can reduce the searing cd like crazy with searing blow. But at high gear and good qol Books, i'd say they're about the same but wind requires more practice not to mess up your combo and not lose all your dps

but cyclone kick is the main skill to deal damage with searing palm buffs, i am trying to keep 2+ buff and spam r2rf, and trying to hit with leading palm when i have 3-4 of searing

During stages 3 & 4 you should have enough crit rate to do 2RF. In addition, you can almost always do 2RF, you just need to watch your focus and adapt. You're playing with Spirit Concentration, but using it during STG1 often. You're also not syncing your STG4 with neither Gubong nor Spirit Concentration.

Book wise, it's not great. You do not need Blue Tremor. It doesn't do anything. Rising Dragon has no use. You have no Flurry book.

You also seem to have the Comet Strike Add dmg book, but have disabled the skill?

I'll mention that I was doing around 15K dps on dummy with 600AP with full blue books and no stacking back when I was wind. My crit stats were around 1300 each. Keep in mind that I am not a good Wind KFM. From the video it just looks like you're not doing 2RF nearly as much as you should, on top of not stacking buffs correctly either.

You also have the leading palm badge, so you should aim for double leading palm during STG4

You need to use gubong in stg 3 so the buff procs during stg 4
Do 2rf, you have enough crit and I'm assuming blue ck which means you can do 2rf starting from at least stg 2 sp.
Idk if you have crit BB or cdmg BB but if you have crit bb you can do 2rf when it's up even during stg 1 which is when you should use crit bb
If you have crit dmg bb, save it for stg 4
Ck build is perfectly viable w/o purple lmb and doesn't require it @void dirge

like other people said, try to do 2rf during stage 3-4, the ani cancel can be smoother, you have really good ping, keep practicing, i dont use leading palm badge but i think the idea is to use leading palm righ away of entering stage 4, then pivot quick and then leading palm again so you use it twice, change the Z book for C version that you like more, i would go for shrouded shadow becuase it is more proactive and it makes you depend less of smite to proc searing palm/pivot kick.

you can gain a lot of damage increasing your critical damage with psyches too

would be nice to see your gear to give you a better advice about it

without purple books, ck build is far behind of comet build, yes in theory you don't need it but his main concern is the dmg he's doing so if sole purpose is dmg, then comet build is more likely the answer rather than ck build without purple books

First blue i always recommend is everlasting blow

this is another one that i didnt have selected for that green build

the reason being is make sure you actually have enough slots for the skills before getting this and its a blue

but its great for the dungeons like poh 1st boss mobs or ogong all those little monkeys

the V skill volcanic burst wont be a pull until its upgraded to blue as well

I had straight jab combo and at 129ms it's Hella clunky trying to do rf. So instead you do r2ff to do a double cyclone kick. Could ask @past harness who i know has around 20ms about rf vs r2ff

R2ff can still be done on high ping and you could do it almost all the time using other purple cdr skills for searing palm and skipping into stage 3. When I had straight jab my cr was around 2800 and in stuff like poh I was able to do r2ff on stage 3 and 4 every time.
