you can theoretically do it with dual dragons -> 1, but as dragonchar you can't really waste your dual dragons like that

you should either get dragonchar and save up for blazing palm and wildfire in the future, or get blazing palm and buy wildfire on the marketplace

purple blazing palm adds more dps than a stack of purple dragonchar will

From my tests, fm sucks at crits, even if u have like 5+k crit rate, soo for me my priority list would be crit dmg, hp, accuracy until u got around 2k, then crit rate

But for ss main stats always aim for double crits

Then as far as upgrades go weapon is by far more significant than accessories (because of the large ap gain)

As I expected, definetly focus on those soulshields

There's like 800 cdmg and a similar amount in crit there. The bracelet and gloves arent that good, so you may wish to replace those. You can keep an eye on the market, you can sometimes find some cheap true purple accessories for way below the cost it would cost you to upgrade them. Feel free to replace veil, frost sheath (keep on a secondary accessory for poh), dragonwhorl, skyburn, sacred oath with more ice rain stacks btw.

Drain is a relatively large dps increase, as it is dealing the listed number as damage when it heals.

On ice FM, 765 drain is giving me ~4.2k dps, and the damage from it ignores boss defense as well.

^thats basically the minimal build you should go for with valor stones from the blue quests

You can pickup some extra skills, though stuff like Cold Snap and Meteor Shower dont gain their focus regeneration until blue tier.

Frost Sheath you should pick for the 3rd purple dungeon (Poharan), Divine Veil you can get for the 2nd (Chef) though the version without a skill book is fine too. Any excess slots can be filled with green (or later blue books) of Blazing Beam for extra damage.

Blue tier opens up Ice Rain (but the build has a bunch of other requirements that wont be easy to get as a new player)

Dragonchar largely overlaps with Blazing Beam, but doesnt really start to shine until purple tier. That said, if thats what you want to play then you can go Dragonchar at blue tier.

Best case scenario is to get Wildfire if you can afforrd it. If not, you can also use your Dual Dragons [F] and immediately apply burn with Shockfire/Impact [1]

Another way to go about it is to change your rotation entirely, at least until you get Wildfire. I don't recommend this one because of how annoying it is to do, but you will have to do a RMB -> LMB -> 2 rotation. Watch the ember stacks with this rotation. Once you see it go to 5 ember stacks after your Blazing Beam, use RMB -> 1 -> LMB to apply burn

what's a good macro delay for ice rain?? 30 ping average. rotation is rt2

trying 10ms delay and sometimes frost palm/ice rain doesn't trigger. meanwhile, 50ms delay has all the inputs registered properly but i do more dps manually than when i macro with 50ms delay. i lost out on dps on monarch when normally i would get the loot

the macro is just some variation of rt2. ive seen people do 2rt, rrtt2 or even rt2f for extra focus regen. ms delay depends on ur ping and program of choice

Ice Rain and Dragonchar perform pretty similarly.

Ice Rain requires low ping

Blazing Beam is a bit behind (but the gap will be smaller with the balance patch kr got), but its by far the most high ping friendly option. Its also the most low-gear friendly build.

1. Get both SF Badges
2. Get Blazing Wall and Inferno Detonate
3. Lose 12 Dchar GM
4. Gain DMG

with dual dragons badge

Meteor shower was 3.9% of my dmg in a 2 min parse

but i feel like I lose a few cast of Dchars so idk if thats worth it

And thats without Meteor Shower CD reset

Fiend fire and inferno actually pretty chill to use, they the same 300 ms GCD as boosted Dchar

its just that 1k ms on blazing wall/ meteor shower that makes me hesitate

If meteor shower was on a different gcd group

Then it would become free dmg

and I would use it on its own no doubt

Im not aware of anyone specifically

Note that changing specs is quite expensive, so you wont often see people who have played multiple specs

Wouldn't the Sf badges raw stats at high + on top of 2 bonus dmg be as good if not Better (esp with GM's coming)? You are missing on at least 200+ crit dmg and accuracy then a lot of hp

Wtd badge is 5.x% more wtd dmg on top of the stats (105x ap to 110.9x at 48gm). Well not counting virtuous stats
