Fiendfire was only like 10% of my DPS output

I dropped that, "1" and balefire for more purple beams

then added a Wildfire purple

12 stacks was like 10% dps increase on BB which accounts for like 60-70% my DPS

I also tested quick inferno (single cast) with inferno wall cdr badge
In the end an extra purple bb over using this was better, less wall uptime more bb..

Purple BB gain above gm36 roughly 2.6-2.8% dps gain, running inferno for more wall uptime with badge around 1.7-1.9% (base cdmg value above 3.5k, on low cdmg might be worth more but once u get above diminishing returns hit and simply another BB outscales)

I use 2 macro for ice fm
I start with z then i press my dps macro 2rtf and after the 8s i press xtz dps again, then i start using my second macro t1xz after that back to dps then repeat between the first and second macro

The thing is the second macro t1xz is taking to much time and i lose much dps

Is it any other way to do it

I believe stealing dps as if popping the ember so the others cannot apply burn constantly, so the one using blazing beam/dragon char cannot get the most damage, as well as the free fiend fire after shock fire.

Purple blazing palm detonate ember when it has 5 stacks. So those have purple palm can do more damage, and those other (fire fm) lose a lot of damage

the number of times i mess up the pre-cast and tag the boss early

The damage from it also doesn't scale with AP or soul core tier, it's always the same.

Still need to decide which dmg skill I take from the BP selector. The skills so far and mystic badge want me to play Ice rain and the other half bb or Char 😅

Unfortunately, the dynamic in this game is very skewed compared to retail. If you can do the most dps, you get the best rewards

And if you do more dps than another FM in the party by a lot, then people will blame the other for being too weak or having the wrong spec

That might not be the case all the time, but it's very common to see

Not to mention, the cost of taking a book off is expensive, so

Devs could've implemented a system where each FM gets their own embers like they did previously

The number doesnt change because it directly increases the % of critical damage youre doing

For example if 3000 is 250%, then Soulburn Shroud would increase it to 260%

On 3500+ the dps gain is around 1.7-2.1% in final numbers overall, if u have lower cdmg it's more

Adding another purple main dps book is prob still more tho (avg 2.7-2.9% final dps gain on same stats)

But it is better than a blue main dps book as this only provides around 0.7-0.9% ish
Data comes from testing with my gear at 3500+ cdmg, values might differ for lower gear

If u hit same dmg it is most likely just rng due to less crits, cdmg only scales when critting

The simplest macro is 2rt

If you have purple blazing palm supposedly you would benefit from switching between it and 2r

I havent really done any testing on macro timings, but you can start with a low repeat delay and then test different values from there

Typically cold snap balefire into spam

• blazing wall depending on when I can go melee range, you can add meteor to the opener.

When burn ends dual dragons + 1 and fiend fire, then dragonfrost for focus regen somewhere between that point and the next balefire (when necessary)

I use deadlock too (focus regen veil), but I dont know if its actually a good addition yet.

dragonchar is area attack, no need target, so u can attack sin or sum when they stealth, but sometime miss if the target move fast or agile, and dragonchar remove frosbite. while ice rain need a target so your hit always lock on, rarely miss as long the target in your range thats why u need a good ping, especially when boost mode.
From casting time, ice rain is the fastest then dragonchar and last blazing beam, while dragonchar and blazing beam depend heavy on burn for dps, ice rain no need something like that but depend heavy on reduce cooldown.

t will always clip your char casts making it go 2t2rt

and since char animation cannot be canceled you will lose char counts

the only time i would use t is if i have no way to gain focus and need to maintain untill balefire is up. However, this doesnt happen anymore

yeah crit definitely plays a major role in sustaining the 2r rotation

someone in my clan plays 2rt and does 52k dps so i guess it doesn't make that much of a difference in the end

no burn = half ur dmg

missing the rng hit of shock fire while the stacks are being boomed makes u unable to fiend fire unless u wanna cast for 2.5 seconds

Don't know why people like autodetonate lmb so much. U can go lmb infernal blow and shock fire and apply burn for 10sec on 5 ember so u don't need wild fire purple. I think some fm don't even know burn mechs for dmg at this point or that shock fire actually apply burn of 5 ember.
