SUMMARY
Why is there no dps meter in a game like this?

MAIN ISSUE
I know its kind of a hot topic, but for me personally, its just something that belongs to a game like this, its a mandatory thing that helps players to improve skills and rotations, aswell as showing the impact certain changes in gear or what ever have.
I see why people dislike dps meters that show the whole group, since that sadly leads to toxicity quite often. While personally still preferring a whole group version, i think atleast a personal meter wouldnt do any harm.

Well, please add a dps meter, at least for your own damage

DPS meter wasn’t in the game for Live either for a few years. They probably left it that way for Neo for a more ‘old school’ feel it’s not even though they most definitely have the resources to implement it

bump plz bring back solo dps meter at least before TPP run out of control again
I do not like the rigidity of the new skill system but especially without self DPS meter there is no way to get objective and quantitative feedback for your build theorycrafting

  • So damage meters are cool but it can cause meta problems
  • Mamby a self damage meter would be cool and a link option
  • ^ players can show others ther damage
  • but not see others damage

we either get a dps meter or people mod the game till we have one (same as it was with bns live)

shouldnt have made a game with tight ani cancels and many ways to improve personally if you dont want people to analyze their play and try to improve and want tools to facilitate it.

i would like to say yes but i am also sure its gonna cause too many toxic talks between players yet i would like to suggest add dps meter only for person not for whole party so we can see and improve ourselfs.

I think the best way to do DPS meter is to censor other players name on the DPS meter. This way it still fullfill to let you know is you doing good damage while you also can't being toxic to other player because it didn't show the name.

It's like asking to add toxicity. I believe Korea gaming will support this. In other words, if there is no pvp, we can atleast have a dig swinging contest. An Elitist Uprising

@tough otter bad take from people who 99% of the time barely give any try to improve or want to get carried in dungeon runs. There are plenty who play exactly for the reason to compete with friends or improve/evaluate their own performance. Give us a personal meter then who cares

In years of running pugs on Live with the shared DPS meter, I can't remember instances of people being assholes because of it, assholes will be assholes DPS meter or not

Having an individual DPS meter that shows the skill breakdown (like in Live) would be great to figure out builds and whether or not I'm doing my rotation correctly. I really don't see a reason to not have at least that

If you don't want it to affect other players, at least leave the dps meter for your own character so we can optimize our character. Just a display of our damage, not the group?

Then we can start Recruitment by DPS logs. Easy to filter out players from the ones that get carried. Then we can get no griefers. 😁

I'd atleast like to know if its a greyzone to use advanced combat logger like in BNSLive so we can check our dps. Most games basically allow it, like Final Fantasy for example, and do not ban people for it.

Having dps meter on world boss but not everywhere else makes no sense

Because WB has insanely better rewards for top dps and everyone else is pointless to even participate.

They want you to inspect all those top dmg from your class and realise the one common factor: they have better gear/skill books than you. "You want reward from WB? Go swipe :)" is the reason for it.

Idt they ever did anything about it in bnslive, so doubt they'll start banning what little playerbase they have from Neo over using 3rd party dps meter. The ppl using dps meter are the more likely to swipe to increase their numbers

I mean... gold, portraits, 3.6% chance to get cards for lvl 11 onrush. Whether that's good or not to you, it's still light years ahead of the 1 insignia chest with only 0.03% chance to get WB cards that others get.
