Disappearing snails

I've noticed that the snails with rocks on their shells tend to disappear completely depending on where I stand

This was the case when there were many snails and also no other snails in the area

Nvm I think my graphics ended up lower than usual, was a me problem

I feel like the graphics might be getting reset to lower somehow though?

I swear I'd put it to highest last week but then today rocks were hard to see and it was back to lowest

yes, mine was also on high the other day and was lower when i started today.

Do you use idle mode?

Sometimes, when sitting somewhere like the crypt and playing another game

Last night the rivers looked like they had no water, and found that my graphics were reset down to lowest. Could it be possible for it to retain settings after idle, or not default to lowest?

Newer snails might not know to check this and just think the world looks a bit dodgy
