I'm tired of the stereotypical right-hand black round shell. What about the option to have conical and even left-hand shells - or even no shell at all?

You could customize the shell color by pressing y and the shell shape by pressing u.

I think this is a great idea! Branching off of it, what if we could find item drops for the shells as well, or buy more DLCs?

Ex. I saw in the hat suggestions about a glowstick hat, but a glowing shell could be super useful too! Especially on long late night snail trails and for our snails with poorer eyesight.

There’s already a glow stick hat in game but it doesn’t glow lol. The only hat that glows is the halo, and it’s opt in for performance reasons

A glowing shell is a cute idea but would be genuinely awful during snail parties if it’s not also opt in, and at that point I don’t think it’d be great to pay for dlc that’ll make your game actively run worse during fun events

even snails that are so similar, are so different, having customization options is really nice!
also if DLC is in question then why not make natural snail shells/colours colectables and unnatural ones (like the metallic and transparent DLCs) paid

I do like the idea of more DLC purchases as the game's cost is so minimal that DLC packs provide a decent way to support the game. It wouldn't hurt to add a color slider for the base shell for free with a DLC pack or two for new shell shapes.

I don't think it's an issue that hats won't align with the new shell shapes, as we already have invisi-shell and accept that it is incompatible with many hats. Perhaps a Natural Shell pack (hermit crab shell, clam shell, turtle shell, crab shell, etc.)

I think it would be difficult to get too whimsical, otherwise the shells are basically hats.
