how many snails/hr? It would have to be in snail conversion
if it's a dial design it coudl go up to 100mph, so average snail speed would not be nioticable, but when snails jump, we'd be making numbers happen.
I was thinking like big rigs over the road racing, when you go inreveres where the counter just spins constantly if you're going faster.
another idea would be to have some kind of skill points thing where you're in the air but you're going less than 0.5mph for more than 2 seconds and it just builds points, the most skilled snails will know how to hover and have tons of points.
wher ethe points are just on a poitns boad or something.
MM per hour xD
though I do like the speed of 1 which is the same for everyone haha, keeps the spirit of being a snail, no rushing
Exactly!
mm not to be confused with millipedes hehe, yay another metric user
mm/ms
snails per hour would be good
Is there an actual unit called Snail?
i don't believe so, but in Snail Sim, I think a snail is 0.1 Unity Units long. Not that that's particularly useful. Snails "walk" at 0.03 Unity Units per second, so it takes about 3.333 seconds to walk the length of a snail
so say an average snail is 4cm, snails go 1,2 cm per second, 72 cm per minute and 1728 cm per hour, meaning 17 metres an hour
xD
(I think? math isn't at it's best, it's friday evening so don't judge if it's wrong xD)
Yo snails are faster than i thought
Righttt
i wanted to figure out the proper word for snail walking and apparently its a hotbed topic
anyway i think it would be funny just as a meme to have it, but it would help a lot for speedrunning
i want to see exactly how fast i can move in a single direction
heres a PHD paper on snail locomotion though
@everyone this is now live! It's very basic, but it takes shape in two ways: 1) a velocity stat when you have your menu open (on the right) 2) a speed boost indicator that's always in the bottom right (1x / 1.5x / 3x, etc.)
