How about you—has 2026 been going the way you planned?

Thanks to my teammates on the inZOI team, I’ve been having a really exciting time developing the game. These days, I can genuinely feel the game getting better little by little, and that gives me a lot of energy. But… time still feels like it’s moving too quickly, and that part is a bit overwhelming.

While making this video, I realized we’re only now fixing some fundamentals that should’ve been improved sooner. That made me think about how frustrating it must have been for you all, and it’s pushing us to improve the basics faster and more thoroughly.

Going forward, I also want to find better ways to ask for your feedback more often—and more effectively.
In particular, we’ve seen a lot of comments that the HUD takes up too much of the screen, so I’d like to prepare and share a new GUI concept and ask what you think.
I’m also curious how much you’d enjoy being able to drive cars or ride bicycles anywhere in the game.

Lastly, I’m considering a broader refresh of the lobby experience—News / Discord / Canvas profiles / notifications—but changes like these can easily cause inconvenience, so I want to approach them carefully.
Still, we’ll make good use of our twice-a-week communication to ensure your feedback is reflected as much as possible.

@split zealot I love driving because it makes me feel like im actually one with my zoi! I love the video and especially to be able to ride a bike with another zoi! Whenever do the cars update will we be able to have music in the cars? I think it'll also be cool to have the zois singing and bobbing their heads to certain songs they like!

I'm OK with the current UI but it does take up quite a bit of space. As long as we still have the option to expand UI windows for greater readability, I'd be fine with a more compact design. Perhaps you could give us the option to resize certain elements?

On the topic of "fixing the fundamentals", please could you tackle the issue where makeup presets now change eye colour and eyebrow style? There's zero reason for this to happen and it makes the presets essentially useless.

OMG FAME?! I'm so excited for that and vip sections of clubs with security could bring lots of fun gameplay! Also excited to see them implement the an in game social media system because it could easily tie into the fame system along with different ways to gain fame from music to freelance careers. Great work each week is so fun to see the progress!😭🥰

I love the idea of fame so much. It'd be so cool for our zois to have to bribe bouncers to be let into a club/vip room if they do not meet the fame/reputation requirements! Also, if our zois get into a fight in the club to be escorted out by security. Another detail that'd be cool would be for zois to snap quick pictures on their phones when a celebrity enters a club. I have so many ideas.

Omg! Thank you so much for implementing my double bike riding idea (and maybe others who asked as well)!!! I giggled like a little girl because I can't believe its not a mod but in-game experience 🥹❤️.

I will include gifs below, but when two zois ride bike together, I want them to be able to make conversations, point at objects, tilt their head back to face the person or ride the bike with just one hand. Also I will love to have different sitting positions for the passenger of the bike, so it can be more dynamic and used for storytelling purposes.

Most celebs utilize social media to garnish fans and fame, so it would be cool to see those two features blend together. Wow, the club feature sound exciting 🤩 and I love that we can adjust deepness of pools now, and I can’t wait until we get a hot-tub feature but that can wait a bit. I’m also excited for the bicycle! Id suggest making the UI scaleable. I am fine with the UI and even feel like some stuff is too small like the skill menu and the urges. But others might think different. Would be nice if we can scale every individual UI element with a click & drag system.

Loving the improvements so far, getting eager to see it in my game!

Can zois swim autonomously now?

Can cars, bicycles and other vehicles be driven to the selected location from map view by the zois without manual control?

Do npc zoi's no longer randomly sweep outside and do player zois no longer autonomously vacuum or mop the grass?

In my opinion those are "fundamental fixes" 😅

Love the Lunar new year outfit you zoi is wearing and the roof grid visibility. Always excited to have more multitasking options in the game. I like the idea of bouncers and VIPs. Hopefully there will be ways to increase zois celebrity status as well.

It would be cool to see a chef career in the game where you start as a dishwasher and work your way up to owning a restaurant (or franchise) or traveling and being a world renowned chef (both paths giving you some sort of fame). With the world renowned chef path, maybe you could do cooking shows/competitions or cook for celebs. With this career it would be cool to see the business feature (owning a restaurant) be a task for this career depending on the path you take Psycat_ThumbsUp

Expanding the Job Systems PT.1

(Firefighter Career)

I know careers are being reworked in 2026, but it would be nice if the firefighter career allowed players to be more hands on for engaging gameplay and experience even if minimal loading screens will need to be implemented for both singler player or multiplayer online such as:

  • Extinguishing fires around the city
  • Rescuing animals on top of buildings, trees or etc.
  • Stopping gas leaks
  • Rescuing residents inside their homes

Causes of Death Influencing How Ghost May Haunt the Living?

(Before I start, a player playing as Ghost can still do whatever they want, but this is more for autonomous Ghost behavior. This suggestion you will be reading is to add uniqueness to different types of Ghosts so the Haunting experience isn’t repetitive.)

Cause of Death Influencing Ghost: 👇👇

  • Death by Starvation
    [Zois that died of Starvation as Ghosts: The Ghost will do creepy groans and the ghost might open the fridge and use items in the kitchen. The living zoi who encounters this ghost might feel increase in hunger and the moodlet should show “Something feels wrong. You can’t help it but feel hungry all the time.” This moodlet will help the players know what is happening isn’t a bug.]

  • Death by Loneliness/Lack of Recognition
    [Zois that died of Loneliness/Lack of Recognition as Ghosts: The Ghost will cause sadness to the living zois and the Ghost can be heard creepily crying, or the living zoi might receive creepy phone calls or messages from the dead zoi]

  • Death by Fire
    [Zois that died by Fire as Ghosts: The Ghost will cause fires OR the ghost can cause the smell of “smoke” in a room, even without a fire presented which will confuse the living zois]

  • Death by Electrocution
    [Zois that died from Electrocution as Ghosts: The Ghost will cause Electricity issues. The Ghost will flicker lights, break tv and items that uses Electricity]

  • Death by Diseases
    [Zois that died from sickness as Ghosts: The Ghost will cause sickness or the feelings of feeling sick to the Living zois.]

  • Death by Pollution
    [Zois that died from Pollution as Ghosts: The Ghost will causes living zois the feeling of not being able to breathe well and the Moodlet will show “Breathing feels strange and something feels wrong.”]

  • Death by Slipping
    [Zois that died from slipping as Ghosts: The Ghost will cause slamming sounds and creaking sounds in the house, causes puddles of water or dirty floors]

  • Death by Food poisoning
    [Zois that died from Food Poisoning as Ghosts: The Ghost will cause food to spoil faster and zois getting sick from food.]

  • Death by Old Age
    [Zois that died from Old Age as Ghosts: The Ghost may whisper, play old sounding music, interact with items in the house like how they used to when they were alive, and maybe creepy laugh can be heard]

Also, zois with the traits Law breaker and Malicious, no matter which cause of death that they experienced, these types of Ghost should still tend to cause more chaos in the environment, like breaking property, causing physical issues to property, and make scary situations.

With that said, Kjun, I think it would be really nice adding different colors to how bad a Ghost’s Karma is. For example, a Ghost with very bad Karma will have black aura, but a Ghost with medium bad will have white aura. I didn’t want to pick red or other vibrant colors because it might be too distracting. The bad Ghost aura will turn to white when the Ghost cleanse it’s bad karma. I believe the Ghost aura when interacting with items needs to be slightly more faded. And last but not least, if I play as a living zoi, I do find ghost interacting with the environment too often to be annoying rather than creepy, because they do it too often so the build up doesn’t feel scary but annoying. The ghost keeps singing constantly, playing music, and cooking constantly. This should be fixed.)

Regarding culturally specific events in cities like Dowon , I think you can go very far in Korean style events , I think it create a new enjoyment, and it can make people who like to discover , discover new things and learn , especially if it is specific to the city .

This way , a player could experience events unique to each city , and it will add more charm ,

I really happy to see bicycles in the game and it’s a great surprise that two Zois can ride on it together. 🤩👏 In the long term, this could be supplemented with the possibility of installing a child seat for toddlers instead of an adult passenger and small pets in the basket at the front. 🚲

I hope skateboards and inline/ice skates will be added one day – including as a skill to learn. Tricks and stunts would be great with increasing experience.

I love your focus on the fundamentals and would like to emphasize the importance of reworking LIFE STAGES. Please address this issue (e.g., the height and appearance of toddlers and adolescents) as soon as possible so that playing as a family becomes more satisfying. 🙏🍀

I know this isn’t on topic but it would be good if when the calendar comes, we get to see which days will predict when the rain comes and on what days it will on the calendar/schedule, so we can better prepare for the weather, like not making plans on certain days when it rains, or when there’s heatwaves and other weather issues.

Another suggestion I would like to add is, I think on schedule, if we see that we still have the job we don’t want anymore, we should be able to click that job on the schedule and click “Quit Job” directly in the schedule, so we have more ways to quit a job and not just one way. Many shortcuts would be appreciated, thank you.

Regarding clubs with restricted entry, perhaps there could be 'dress codes' so they'll only let you in if you're wearing a specifc outfit (e.g. Formal wear or Party wear).

**Mechanics: **

Depending on the job profession, new mechanics can be introduced along with challenges to keep gameplay interesting such as:

  • Timer

    • Needing to reach destinations within a certain timeframe. Failure to reach a destination within time will result customer dissatisfaction or impact job performance.
  • Fuel Meter

    • Needing to refuel vehicle to travel around the city
  • Food Temperature Meter

    • An indicator meter that monitors the temperature of food as time goes by. Any food that is delivered while hot will satisfy customers with bonus tips whereas food delivered cold will leave customers dissatisfied with no tips.
  • ** Quality of Goods or Packages**

    • If the player crashes into objects or into cars while on route to deliver goods or packages, each crash will lower the quality of goods/packages onboard. Any goods/packages delivered to the customer with little to no damage will satisfy customers with bonus tips whereas goods/packages delivered that is badly damaged will leave customers dissatisfied with no tips.

These are some awesome updates, Kjun. I love that we will be able to ride a bike soon!

Here are some features I'd like to see, too!

Worn out Furniture/Appliances - Some people have said the rate of wear and tear is unrealistic. And, it is. We often keep furniture and appliances for years. Also, some items aren't able to be repaired or refurbished, resulting in having to repurchase these items. Additionally, if the worn furniture already has items on them, having to put those items back on the new furniture piece is inconvenient. It's more time spent redesigning my house, when I could be doing something else. I suggest having a cheat to remove furniture and appliance wear-and-tear.

Time Off Work/Reset Absences - Zois should be able to take time off work without being penalized. In real life, we are able to request vacation days, and Zois should be able to do the same, especially when a weather event prevents them from doing so. For example, when I logged into my account, my Zoi had already missed 2/3 days of work most likely due to a dust storm that happened the day before.

We should also be able to reset absences, or even just use a cheat to remove the absence requirement completely. It may not be very realistic, but I'd like to have a job without the stress that I'm about to be fired because I left my Zoi on autonomy, and he couldn't show up.

Adding less penalties to professions actually makes the game more enjoyable for me, as I prefer to play without restrictions and penalties.

Assign Outfits - Currently, random outfits that may or may not fit a Zoi's style are assigned based on weather, season, and situation. For example, my Zoi does not wear mini skirts, yet that's what she shows up in for whatever reason. We should be able to create our own preset for each category (i.e., seasons, fitness, date, outings, sleep, etc.). This way anytime the Zoi needs to change an outfit, it defaults to our preset outfit for that category

Weather Forecast - It'd be nice to see the upcoming weather, so we're not slammed with a random heatwave. This way we know how to plan our day.

Thanks Kjun, love all the updates! When Zoi's are talking it would be nice to know who initiated the conversation, for example, be flirted with or be asked to, kind of like in The sims when someone wants to talk to you.

Speaking of GUI design, Zoi's photo window looked better in its previous round design. The current square design seems to contribute to the overall feeling of a stuffy GUI design. Also, as I mentioned before, the "Ambition" window is an important system that should be displayed as the main GUI. Since 'ambition' can only be seen by clicking on the zoicard, it seems that you end up not paying much attention to 'achieving ambition' or forgetting about it while playing.

Hi Kjun!

It’d be really cool if vehicles didn’t just vanish when a Zoi gets out. Having proper parking spots/garages where you can leave cars, motorbikes, and bicycles would add a lot of immersion and make towns feel more “real” and lived-in. Plus it could create fun gameplay loops—looking for a spot, building parking areas at home or public lots, and actually seeing your vehicle where you left it. Would love an option to park + “retrieve” later instead of instant despawn.

I am still working on my suggestions for fame & popularity meanwhile I'll post the things I wish would be included when updating the school system. I know some ideas were already shared but I am fairly new to this discord so bare with me if the things I suggest here were already suggested or are already in progress to be included in game.

School System Improvements** PART 1**
Types of Schools:
Private School ** An elite option with school uniforms, stricter rules, and a higher enrollment fee.**
Homeschooling Parents can homeschool their children themselves or hire a private tutor.
Boarding School ** Students live on campus and return home only during breaks.**
Military School A strict option for rebellious or troubled teens, focused on discipline and structure.
Tutors & Learning Support
Tutors can be hired for:
children, adolescents, or teens who struggle academically and for those who are homeschooled
While doing homework, a Zoi may receive a moodlet like “This makes no sense…”
The Zoi could then go to their parent and request a tutor.
School Social System
Popularity system for children, adolescents, and teens: Popular, unpopular, neutral
Some Zois may care deeply about popularity, while others don’t, affecting mood and behavior.

I’m happy to see footage for bikes already!!! I would like to suggest having the zoi sitting in the back wrapping their arms around the persons waist while riding and also please if we could get tandem bicycles( double seated bicycles)!!!
And children’s bikes too with an option to add training wheels for when they’re learning to ride. I hope that it isn’t something zois just automatically know how to do it should be learned.
I’d also like to suggest these sports biking outfits as well.

Great improvements, I don’t know if anyone has noticed this but on medium settings the global lighting makes blonde hair shine…like unrealistically bright. Another thing with the lighting on medium, the early morning shadows can appear to be murky specifically on the male body. So basically there’s a need for color adjustments with that graphic setting.

Since fully functioning Pets seems like it's going to be after EA, would it be possible to have the current cats and dogs that are static but animated so we can at least have them at our house? I'd love to have that dog we see around the city and place it in the backyard even know it limited to its basic animations.

Rollerblading and skateboarding would be so cool in game. Especially in Bliss Bay because they have a skate park.

There could be a difference between rollerblades vs roller skates and skateboards vs longboards.

Maybe there can be no skateboarding/rollerblading zones in the city. This can be neat for rebellious juvenile Zois. If they get caught they either get scolded or fined.

저는 오토바이를 더 좋아하기는 하는데 자전거도 예쁘네요. 시골 마을 등의 도시옵션이 더 생긴다면 자전거 쪽이 더 잘 어울리고 예쁠 것 같습니다. 개인적으로는 개인 인벤토리와는 별개로 차량 에도 짐을 둘 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 쇼핑을 하고 짐을 차에 두고 다른 곳을 들르는 등의 플레이가 가능하게요. 자전거의 경우에는 앞쪽 바구니에 자기가 둔 물건이 나타나는 연출도 예쁠 것 같습니다. 너무 많은 옵션보다는 꽃, 식료품, 빵 정도만 바구니 안에 나타나도 좋을 것 같습니다.

yes I really love driving and I would love to see more added to it. I know the gps system is already in the works which would be AMAZING. Personally, I would like to see autonomous driving where zois would automatically take their cars/bikes/motorcycles to their destination without us having to direct them to do it. It's pointless owning a vehicle if they are just going to take public transit. I said this in the last week's discord channel, but since it's being brought up again, I'll mention it here too. I would like a "drive here with" function so zois on the same lot can travel in the same car together. I would like to be able to travel with infants and toddlers by car. I like to take them to the park, but when their home is on the other side of town, it's a hassle walking there with a toddler when we could just drive. Even if the toddler/infant for now could teleport into a car seat within the vehicle, it would be a major step forward for family gameplay. I would also love an auto drive feature. Sometimes I want to just watch my zois drive through the city and take in the view, so it would be nice if there was a key on the keyboard that could flip between manual and automatic driving.

adding a fame system would be a really cool addition .ᐟ i think maybe being able to have different interactions with other zois with other game levels would be fun. like, a high ranked, famous zoi being rude or mean to a zoi of a lower social status. could also implement this into careers too. having a high level famous zoi being rude to a lower status cashier, or barista, or shopping center employee.

to add to that, i think an extension on the trainee career would be a good addition. like being able to have a trainee debut in either a kpop group ( group could be assigned, or could be edited. group leader could also recruit members. ), or as a soloist and being able to climb the fame ladder and have paparazzi following them around, or have their number get leaked, so they get random texts or smth—. i think an expansion on the trainee career would be interesting and could help expand the planned social status and fame.

another addition i think could also add more companies and possibly have a company recruit trainees. like each company has a recruitment team and they’re sent out to go into the city and find people to recruit as trainees and soon enough, kpop idols.

Kjun, I love all of these updates. For VIP room and club access, I’d love to suggest adding special scripted doors and VIP rope objects, similar to how The Sims 4 handled them in Get Famous. This would make it much easier to set up restricted areas for players who aren’t focused on advanced building, while still giving us more control over club and venue design. The new system related to fame and social status is a very interesting idea. Making access to certain clubs or VIP areas dependent on a character’s social standing could add a strong immersive and strategic layer to the game.
It could also encourage players to build their reputation in different ways.
Here are a few fun implementation ideas for this system:

  • Dynamic NPC reactions based on notoriety level (preferential treatment, jealousy, rumors, autograph requests, etc.).
  • Exclusive events accessible only to certain social statuses.
  • A risk of “reputation loss” after scandals or poor choices, affecting access to specific locations.
  • Practical benefits (discounts, priority lines, special interactions) that make status feel meaningful without being unbalanced.

hi kjun, this sounds great and thank you for your hard work. I have a suggestion (a wish to be honest lol) about the business system. I think zois should be able to sell any object, set the price and restock after it's sold. This will give us endless possibilities especially thanks to the 3d printer tool. SO EXCITED!!!! These are the changes that really make a difference in the game and position it as a quality game. Bravo!!!

  1. Regarding fame: I'd like us to have real-life stalkers that we can report. They could send us messages from unknown numbers that we have to block and come to our houses to leave love letters with obsessive undertones. If we don't report them to the police, they could escalate their harassment to the point of killing us 😂 that'd be fun.

  2. Regarding the UI, I like the current one, maybe I'd modify the wants window. The current one has a lot of free space in the middle, although considering the previous one was so small that you barely paid attention to it, I prefer the current one.

I LOVE the bike interactions with 2 people and the direction you're going in with the clubs! I cannot WAIT for the fame system and VIP clubbing. I would really love bottle girls, as well as private booths in the clubs for (especially for celebrities) where they can allow certain people access to sit with them or kick others out of their section as they please.

We also MUST have automated bartenders and drink ordering and dancing on the dance floor for zoi's

Fake ID, bribing, convincing or flirting with the bouncer to get into the VIP club areas without an adequate fame level would also be so cool. Some zois with specific traits like charisma or high charming skill could have a special advantage here and we should have the ability to (after successfully bribing the bouncer) select other members of our group to access the VIP areas too.

This would be super cool and give us a reason to keep certain charismatic friends around to get in!

Regarding the ghosts you talked about on Wednesday, I wanted to share this:

I love the idea that karma is reflected in the ghosts' appearance. Dying with negative karma would make the ghost look dark and ominous, and it could have malevolent behaviors. With medium karma, it'd be transparent like now, and with positive karma, it could look radiant and have kind behaviors. Negative karma ghosts would clash with the positive ones.

I also loved the idea of talismans and rituals to cleanse your karma, sounds really fun 👏

So first idk how much this can be improved, but ghosting!!! I really hope with the update to UE 5.7 that we can see some significant reduction in ghosting cause it is rather distracting and becomes really noticeable once you go past medium settings for global illumination quality. Thankfully the newest Nvidia driver update helps with it but still.
I also like to suggest a few minor things. First for the
Fireplaces it be more realistic to have them eventually burn out so I think it would be cool if we could chop woods and store them for winter so we can add more firewood to the fireplaces.
If we could get improved reflections and videos on the tv so they’re clear.
I noticed when living in one of the apartments in dowon that the hall light goes through the apartment walls so I hope that can be addressed at some point.
I’d love if when children’s needs get too low to the point where child protective services comes and takes them that we could try and get them back through a court trial. Recently lost my child zoi to this because for some reason she kept getting stuck in the elevator when going to school and the emergency rescue wasn’t working after it happened a few times ( literally tried to rescue her like 6 times and I already saved the game so unfortunately I couldn’t go back to a previous save)
For pregnancies I’d love if we had varying degrees of belly growth cause their bellies aren’t really noticeable until pretty much day 3 and if we could get the option to customize them while pregnant.
It would be cool if we got drive throughs for fast food restaurants and if the Indian and Mexican restaurants could be made functional as well!!!

As for skateboarding, since we have direct controls, we could use the whole city for our rides, but the main trick action could be centered around a skate park packed with curbs, rails, ledges, and so on. Even though skate games tend to be tricky to handle (I’ve played a lot), a few one-button automatic actions like Jump, Grind, Grab, Spin, Flip, and collision physics (which the devs are currently working on) could be added.
As for point-and-click controls, it could just be “go here” (plus a trick options.) The difficulty of the tricks will most likely need to be tied to skill levels.

It’d be great to catch chill vibes (and at the same time fall, crash, even under cars) in inZOI.

I'd definitely remove the option to clean exteriors, since if a zoi sweeps the grass or dirt with a broom, it doesn't make sense either. They should only clean inside the home and that's it.

For improvement of animations, I would suggest different variants of the same animations. For example, when a Zoi's hunger bar is full, they may eat their food sluggishly and may even play with it. And then when they are really hungry, they may devour their food aggressively. Animations should vary according to mood, stats, and personality. The third latter, moreover, should have animations exclusive to certain personality traits. There can also be variations to standard animations with slight changes.

OMG no offense but last weeks update I was sort of eh about but THIS is great.

Okay first of all bikes in the base game is amazinggg.

Changes in depth for the pool is great too! If only we could get a dive option so we can go deeper into the water or stay in the surface if we choose. Wasd for swimming underneath the water would be great to work on

In one of these development videos I would love to see work done on parking. Someone else mentioned it too we need parking around the city and now that we have bikes I think it would be a great idea to start implementing it whenever you guys get the chance.

And still, I get triggered by the direct dependence of Luck on Karma, as if the gestalt isn’t closed, even though quite a few scales are appearing, like reputation, fame. But! Luck alone is a more widespread and understandable element (regardless of Karma). And if Luck unconditionally falls under Karma’s dominance, it would end up causing both to be disabled.

-# To avoid forcing players to turn them off, there should be an option to roleplay someone lucky but bad, or unlucky but good, instead of punishing bad Karma with reduced Luck, it should rather be delayed payback, maybe not even in this life.

Yes, I suggested “borrowing” a bit of Luck from Karma points or a talisman’s effect. Still, it’s mostly part of DnD and (which doesn’t fit well with game ratings, but) gambling. That means Dice roll, Fortune wheel, RNG, Lucky Chance cards, Red Check, adjusted by bonuses (traits, skills, buffs). Mostly for risky actions, which often serve as shortcuts that cut corners to reduce gameplay time spent (gambling, persuasion, flirt).

As we discussed: persuading a policeman not to arrest you on the spot, or convincing a guard to let you into a VIP zone (Luck + Rhetoric/Authority), or pushing flirt quickly but with a low chance (like in Paralives about 33%), or building a Lucky Chain where one event triggers a sequence of fortunate outcomes or wins, until it eventually breaks.

Pragmatically, I do realize this would have more potential in the average game, regardless of my attitude toward Karma. Please think about it.

Once reputation and celebrity status is introduced, it would be great if the Zoi’s would react when you’re walking down the street (i.e. take photos of you, run up and ask for an autograph/hug, whisper to other people talking about you, faint, ect). There could be different levels of celebrity so the higher celebrity you are, the more Zoi’s react.

🏘️ BLISS BAY HILLS ⭐

A small community for the well-known or rich Zoi’s where there is an off-shoot of Bliss Bay. An idea would be at the border of Bliss Bay (toward the ocean-side) there could be a guard gate with a sign “Bliss Bay Hills”. Since this area would be separate from the existing Bliss Bay, there could be a quick loading screen which then you enter a small community that is either A.) 3 to 5 private waterfront extra large lots on a small cliff overlooking the ocean and/or B.) Extra-large lots up on a hill away from the main bustle of the city with a great view of the city and ocean. I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the oceanfront mansions on the cliff version. That would be game-changing and seems easy to implement as you already have waterfront homes beyond the blue zoned wall.

OTHER IDEAS:

I understand there is discussion on making actions longer, but it would be great if we had a toggle to infinite loop an action. For example, say a Zoi is depressed, you can have them “infinitely” loop to “Watch TV” or “Sleep” action in their bed all day. It could be a toggle above the Zoi or in the UI section that is similar to the Autonomy toggle, but would be for actions you want to infinitely repeat until you turn off.

Would be lovely if you'd finally give Wirting its own ambition path. Giving novelists more relevance would also perfectly fit with the new fame system as experienced writers could have a small chance to create a "bestseller" quality book when wiriting that could:

  • give the Zoi a large amount of fame
  • could open an event pop-up with a contract offer* rather than just one-time selling it
  • *examples for contracts: film rights, publisher contract that give regular royalties for a limited time instead of one time payment e.g. 6 months.

  1. As far as the GUI goes.. I agree with other community members regarding it does take up a bit of space. I particularly have mine set on “large” so I can read everything easily, but it stretches across the entire bottom of my screen.

After the last update.. the game has restricted certain areas of the screen where the UI boxes can be placed. Which, causes the placement to feel unorganized / obstructive.

It should definitely be more adjustable and able to be scaled to different sizes (to accommodate different play styles / visualizations)

  1. Finally bicycles!!! I would love it if Children/Adolescents/Teens had the option to “ride bicycle to school” or around the cities. And for kids to ride their bikes together as a group with friends.

Could we also get tricycles for toddlers and have older children and adults “teach” them how to ride?

There should also be places to park your bicycles in public areas (Schools / various places around the city) and bicycle racks to place on walls at home.

  1. Other ideas for the Fame system and the VIP areas are:
  • Special invites to exclusive events that are held at private venues or special areas within the public lots. (Ex: Celebrity only event, Award shows, Special Performances)

  • VIP areas that can be rented out for private events (Ex: Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, Anniversary Parties, Bridal Showers, Bachelor/ Bachelorette parties, Wedding Reception, Baby Showers, Office / Retirement Parties)

  • Paparazzi and Gossip Columns. (Rumors or news regarding your Zoi’s life could be posted on a social media platform or in Newspapers), which could have a significant impact on your reputation (either positive or negative)

Hello! One suggestion I have I didn't get to add last week is the removal of going up stairs being an animation -- it often changes the fluidity of gameplay and it feels less 'real.' Instead, I think walking up stairs should be controlled with WASD (as seen in games like Roblox or GTA5), and the game could even incorporate jumping if your character wants to skip a step or something! I imagine an autonomous animation for a kid who is energetic could be nice, I remember when I was younger I would always jump at the last two steps and jump off! This could also lead to parents laughing joyfully or even deciding to scold the kid, especially if the action fails and the kid falls. Thanks!

Regarding the system of Rep groups, reputation, and VIP passes, there has been the idea to create something similar to The URBZ, which had two iterations of such mechanics:

Rep Groups (Streeties, Nerdies, Artsies, Richies) – you could join one of the groups and gain access to a clubhouse and unique items.
Rep meter – unlocked access to the subcultures of different districts:
• Central Station (underground/subway, fight club, punks)
• Cozmo Street (art district, street culture and graffiti, performances, squats, bars with live music)
• Neon East (Asian flavor, neon signs, techno and electronic clubs, karaoke clubs, bustling markets, tradition and futurism)
• South Side Bridge (industrial quarter, working class, hip‑hop and urban, street battles)
• Kicktail Park (skate park and youth street culture, dance and music battles)
• Gasoline Row (garages, rockers and bikers, rock clubs, gasoline, repair shop)
• Diamond Heights (elite district, expensive clubs, high society parties, luxury)
• Skyline Beach (beach district, surfing, seaside parties)
• The Foundry (alternative industrial, experimental music, dark clubs)
and finally the elite venues (clubs), mansion or Paradise Island (GBA version).

ofc, this is highly conditional, but having several rep groups and different places (districts, streets, squares, clubs) for them to gather would be more engaging than an all‑purpose city. We already have main cities with diverse cultures and subcultures in inZOI, and this diverges from the default rep/fame concept of the main Sims series (excluding City Living, nice expansion), and tbh, another generic iteration feels a bit boring.

Hi Kjun 😊,
Yes, exactly – the HUD currently takes up a lot of space and isn’t completely clear.
I’d like to add two more points:

  1. When using the TAB view, it would be great to have the ability to adjust the vertical camera angle – move the view up or down and lock it at our preferred setting. Right now, the character is too low on the screen, and I see too much sky when I want to watch the full character, including the legs, while walking and admire my Zoi’s outfit – the pants are barely visible when walking.

  2. Walls still interfere in TAB view. When the character comes into contact with a wall, it cuts through the screen and you can see the other room. I know this was adjusted once, but I think it could be further refined.
    Also important – when the character walks on stairs, the building should remain enclosed with walls so it doesn’t look like the character is outside the building.

I think these adjustments would really help make the game feel realistic and immersive.

I really hope the fame system and the reputation system you want to introduce can be linked in a way that allows scandals to happen.

First, like others already said, it would be nice to have different levels of fame. Zois who are very famous should be more at risk when it comes to scandals, especially if they have bad karma.

  • in case of bad karma, the player could get notifications saying that rumors are spreading, coming from people who worked with or met the Zoi, saying they have personality issues or questionable behavior.
  • Single really bad action (cheating, being violent, stealing, etc.) could also be enough to trigger a potential scandal.

However, this wouldn’t be automatic. Lucky Zoi could get away with bad actions with no one noticing and rumor not spreading.

To offer more gameplay options (like an awful celebrity in private but loved by fans, or a corrupt but successful politician), there should be ways to counter scandals if we want to. For example:
• Contacting a PR agency (different prices, different chances of success)
• Doing good action in public like doing charity
• Posting a public apology online
• Denying everything online

All these actions could come with different chance of success. More drastic options, like hiring a top PR agency should be more effective.

If we fail to counter the scandal, the Zoi’s reputation could drop into the negative, leading to:
• Bad or hostile encounters with other Zois in public
• Loss of job opportunities

With that said for the calendar system that's coming, would it be possible for us to toggle how long each season is? I believe adding a toggle for how long each season along with the age adjustment toggle would help build immersion in the game.

idle relationship animation examples-

  • couple is standing next to each other so they autonomously hold hands and share quick smiles with each other
  • lingering gazes that loops a little longer than usual
  • tucking the partners hair behing the ear with a loving gaze
  • hugging from behind when joining to cook and giving each other a taste test of the food ingredients while cooking
    Romantic autonomy based on location/ memory-
  • first kiss or first date location= autonomously hold hands more at this place and have lingering smiles when arriving with a "shared first date/ first kiss" moodlet buff
  • if they argued at this place they will be more distant with an unhappy mood buff like "had an argument here 💔" (this mood buff will go away over time if the couple has worked on the issue)
  • Engagement location= happy smiles at each other, more autonomous romantic animations like picking up while kissing, hand holding while swaying, an interaction to "gush about happy memory together here"

Relationship styles that effect couple behavior:
Styles:

  • Passionate= more public affection/ hand holding in public, wrapping arms around the waist, slow dancing when there is music nearby autonomously, gazing at each other while touching the face more often or tucking ones hair behind their ear
  • Soft affectionate= head resting on ones shoulder, hand holding with more shy smiles
  • Playful/ flirty= whispers in the ear while laughing, playfully poking the other, a playful bump on the shoulder with a smirk while walking past the other
    An extra one could be for more reserved couples who both are introverts/ a more serious couple= a quick squeeze of the hand when sitting by each other and just prefer being more affectionate when not in public

🚴‍♀️ One tiny suggestion for having a Zoi ride on the back of a bicycle is to have their feet near the center of the wheel axle (same with a motorcycle). Can we also have smaller bikes for kids? A baby seat on the back of a bicycle would be amazing as well so we can ride with toddlers around the neighborhood or park! 😊

And I know we’re just seeing the start of a fame system and a society status system, but just some suggestions below:

😎 Fame System:

- I would love to see careers like K-pop idol, Singer (country, pop, rap, etc) Musicians (pianists, guitarist, etc), Actors, Comedians, Authors, Artists (painters, sculptors, etc), Fashion designers, etc
- Have obsessed fans once fame reaches a certain level
- Reputation system is more heavily influenced the higher the level of fame
- The higher the fame level, the more likely the Zoi to be recognized on the streets by random Zois (fans). Fans can take photos or ask for autographs or even follow the famous Zoi around for some time
- Sims 1 had a really good expansion pack around fame (Superstar), that came with celebrities, Paparazzi, creepy obsessed fans, etc.  It was so good, lol

🧐 Society Status:

- This should be separate from Reputation System (or at least less connected).  A Zoi with a high status in society could have a bad reputation but also still be able to get away with a lot more than someone with a normal status level in society.  We see this everyday in real life (unfortunately).  Higher the level in society, the more easier it is to get out of receiving punishment for wrong doing (easier to avoid jail time or fines), etc.
- This should have an influence on careers (more likely to get hired for jobs you don't qualify for, more likely to be promoted, etc)

I love the VIP club features because I love visiting clubs and for build the new guideline is great. This comes in handy for having a hard time when I add walls or fences and I can't see well because of my eye issues. Second this!! I hope when we run our own club we can designate vip area as well, and select conditions to enter the vip AND the club (Ex: only women, only criminal, only zoi under a certain age, …). That would allow gameplay options like badly frequented underground clubs etc

For club entry, there could be an option to choose whether its an absolute requirement to enter, or simply something that makes this type of profile more likely to come. Like that we could also create gay club etc

I also want to be able to customize fully my employee clothes and not only choosing between different preset, this would allow more business option like themed cafe etc

I love how open and consistent these updates are!

A few hopeful suggestions.. It'd be really nice if the game added some religious things to this game. Even as silly as the whole cat thing is. I love the traditional outfits and the temple. It would be cool if you had religion as a character trait, at home shrines, scheduled temple worship, religious holidays, etc. It could use Musok as inspiration.

To really bring depth to it, it'd also be cool if you could make zois have preferences or prejudice. Imagine an atheist zoi could have a preference for only other atheist zois romantically. Controversial, but it would add a lot to the game if simplified 'races' (dumbed down to European, East Asian, African, Middle Eastern, etc) were added and the same preference and prejudice system worked for those too. It'd be funny if an elderly east asian grandma was mad at her grandson for dating a european woman for instance. Plus, it'd be cool to keep track of your zoi's family line and race. Having a zoi show 1/4 african, 3/4 european for instance would be a cool way to keep track of their ancestry and influence. It'd make the world seem a lot more real and lifelike and not so 'safe' and boardroom friendly.

Could expand the romantic preferences and prejudices to education level, pet preferences, or more.

But please don't shy away from the negatives or controversies of life! That's what makes for fun drama and variance in life simulators like this

Anyway, looking forward to the traditional festival clothes/build items and VIP sections!

As others have stated, it would be nice if skateboarding, rollerblading and ice skating were implemented into the game that would add into gameplay for both single players and online multiplayers.

Mechanics:

Tricks

  • Tricks can be unlocked and obtained behind skill progression, classes or through challenges or missions.

**Safety Mechanics: **

  • Wearing a helmet & wearing knee pads will ensure that zois will not die, but they could receive minor injuries if they fall which they could go to the hospital to get treated. Whereas not wearing a helmet and knee pads can result in a higher chance of fatal injuries which can lead to death.

Competitions

Implementing these recreational activities can bring fun gameplay for players online since such activities can be used in competitive games that players can compete against one another such as racing, freestyling and etc.

**- Racing **

A dedicated arena or racing routes around the city where players can join to compete. This is where you can implement the reputation system for online players for competitions. The higher a players’ reputation is, they can unlock different racing routes that comes with bigger monetary payouts. Money payouts and reputation points can be awarded to the top 3 competitors for each race. To enter, you have to pay an entry fee.

- Freestyling Tricks

A dedicated arena or area where players can skate along ramps, rails or etc. to perform tricks that garnish them points within a certain time limit. Top 3 players with the most points are awarded money along with reputation points. To enter, you have to pay an entry fee.

- Spawn Balls

Various ‘balls’ spawned unpredictably around a dedicated arena or throughout the city where players are encouraged to go to the spawn area shown on their mini map to collect the balls within a certain timeframe. When each ball is collected by a player, that balls disappear from the mini map. Hence players are racing each other to get to areas where the balls have not been collected yet. Top 3 players who collect the most balls are awarded money along with reputation points. To enter, you have to pay an entry fee.

The above activities are just suggestions, but overall having any sort of activities that players can participate in for skateboarding, ice skating, rollerblading in a competivie manner amongst other online players would be exciting as it will bring something fun to do while online.

For fame, I know that hairstylist is in the roadmap and I think that would be perfect for famous careers like kpop idol or maybe if modeling and acting is added..

It would be great to have a backstage where someone does the zois makeup and hair.

You could tie in the animations from whenever you do the hairstylist career and transfer that over to other stuff. There should def be some random NPCs like paparazzi who try to get photos of your zoi and random fans asking for autographs.

Fame could also be a great avenue to add lore to the game. So that even if your zoi isn't famous someone else is and has a backstory or something.

Also random note but I think for NPCs too I think the world should have a bit of age variation of NPC spawning bc when I go to the park I don't see any children there that my kids could meet so I think there's that. Also allowing NPCs to swim!

Also LIMOSS would be a perfect new car model for those that are famous. That either you can drive or hire someone else to.

An award ceremony that's held at the end of the year and however high your fame is the type of trophy you get

A new career in modeling and kickboxing. For modeling their could be a runaway fake NPCs taking pictures near the walk. Actually this brings me to my next point and that's that new walk cycles would be really important in achieving this!

There could also be photography modeling where zois pose and have to take pictures

That would be amazing again really hoping for functional playgrounds, and volleyball courts.

Since strollers are in the works what about lawnmowers? It would be cool if grass could grow out and you can mow your lawn around the area

For fundamentals I think there could be improved animations for the TV esp if a movie theater is planned in the future making sure the video quality is clear and not too choppy is important Ifeel

Also idk if this is controversial but changing the grey cas background to automatically be a light blue. I think that would be more inviting. Orrrr having the option to make it so that we can save the background we want on cas and it doesn't automatically resort back to the grey would be amazinggg

I also think once travelling between regions becomes a thing, the reach of a zois fame (and even reputation) could be reflected more accurately.

For example if they're well known locally and travel across the world they become anonymous in that region and people react accordingly or the fame panel could show which regions the zoi is famous in and at what level.

This opens up a treasure trove of gameplay where you could spend a play through trying to conquer worldwide fame.

Same for reputation, you could literally destroy your reputation in one place but could move across the world to start a new life with a clean slate and a fresh rep in that area. If you ever return home people could remember your reputation and treat you accordingly.

Reputation could also maybe fade or change over time. So you can hide out in Cahaya as a criminal then return to Dowon years later a changed man lol

I hope you are able to work on basements tool.

I’ve been playing with the build mode as I’m not yet happy with live mode so I’ve spent a lot of my game hours playing in build mode.

One thing that I find quite annoying is after you build the house and add a roof. Sometimes the roof will disappear if you want to add additional interior walls. I’m not sure why it happens.

Another annoying things that happens is that the staircase prevents when you add a staircase wall, it doesn’t blend nicely with the existing wall next to it. So there is a gap. Also you can’t use the stairwall as a normal wall and hang pictures on it. I want to be able to remove railings so there’s only a railing on left or right side and not both. I wish the stairwalls are modular too. So you remove one of the stairwalls to make an under the stairs toilet or closet and add a doors to the stairwall.

I wish you are able to place windows above doors. Or change the shape of doors like the new modular window feature.

Why can you not free place roof over walls? It’s hard to build an attic. You also cannot place windows on the gable wall of roofs. Please change this.

Another thing that breaks immersion is when looking up the stairs into the next floor up, you cannot see the second floor walls. It’s just the blue sky - like the walls don’t exist upstairs. I’m not sure if this is different in live mode. I haven’t checked.

When you do create curved walls please don’t forget the roof - please add turrets roofs that you can add windows on. Please make doors work also.

Thank you for everything you do for this game it is incredible and I love the bicycle ride together feature...it would be great if you could do the same with bikes...one thing I would really love to see in the game are pets ..I know we already see them in the game but we can't interact long with them...I would like if we could buy pets or adopt them from the shelters so our Zois could play with them, feed them, train them, walk in the park ( dogs ).

I think this would be so fun for the kids to be able to ride there bikes to school parks playgrounds and also use them at the skatepark in blissbay. Since the calendar is coming up, it would be really nice to introduce an in depth event system.

We could have seasonal events that come back every year which we we invite friends or family to (with possibility to schedule that in advance). These events should gather more Zois than usual and offer exclusive activities we can only do to that event, and attending them together should create special memory.

🍂Example of seasonal event (some exclusive to only one city)
• Fireworks during summer and New Year that we can go watch from a park or a rooftop
• Summer music festivals
• Other cultural festivals

🌴Special Blissbay event
* Halloween parties
* Surf competition event
* Volley ball turnment

* Spring cherry blossoms sight seeing with zoi pick nicking and taking pictures

Seasonal events would appear on the calendar anyway, while other sign up social event we would have to sign up to to see them appear in our calender

🧑‍🎨 Annnd finally to wrap up my rant about events, if want to go even more in depth and be more creative, we could be able to schedule and design our own seasonal or recurrent events by choosing

  • the place
  • The frequency of meet up
  • The activities performed
  • The dress code
    • Simple option: select a general style (formal, sporty, casual, costume)
    Advanced option: we create outfit presets that attendees can choose from when joining

That would allow us to try to replicate more niche events that might be too much if the developing team had to code each of them. Ex: anime convention, santa run, sport or art club that could not be implemented.
Also useful for other other creative playing styles later. For example occult as we could organise for example witches meetings and so on

When you guys add a fame system, you should implement fans, bodyguards, managers, and so on. Is there an actor career? There should be something added for being able to fix age lengths, my zois change age too fast, I like the idea to be able to adjust this.

Hi! Bicycles sound dope, and I wanted to share some thoughts that could make cycling more fun in the game.

First, in terms of controls and feel, bikes could optionally use a different control logic to emphasise physical effort. For example, an optional immersive mode where alternating inputs (such as left and right arrow keys) simulate pedaling, with a separate brake input (such as right ctrl key), could make cycling feel more tactile and skill-based. This wouldn’t need to be mandatory, but it could add depth for players who enjoy active control.

From a city design and social simulation perspective, dedicated bike lanes would help bikes feel properly integrated into urban life. Riding bikes in car lanes or ramming towards pedestrians could cause discomfort, anxiety, traffic slowdowns, or incidents, negatively affecting Social Harm / Justice Karma. Respecting bike lanes and pedestrians, on the other hand, would reinforce social harmony and Integrity / Self-Trust Karma.

Cycling also feels like a good place to reflect environmental and ethical choices in a subtle way. Choosing a bicycle over a car could have a small but positive effect on Generativity / Legacy Karma per trip, which could accumulate over time as a lifestyle choice. The focus wouldn’t be on heavy rewards, but on long-term impact through repeated conscious decisions.

Related to that, Integrity / Self-Trust Karma could increase when a Zoi is aware of the ecological benefits of cycling and still chooses a bike over a car (such as on TVs, from podcats, or from school/university lectures). In this case, the karma gain comes from acting in alignment with one’s values and knowledge, rather than from the transport choice alone.

I also think bikes would benefit from having their own skill progression system as well as health benefit. Regular cycling could improve a Zoi’s health and stamina, while higher skill levels unlock expressive or playful actions like riding one-handed, small jumps, tricks, and more advanced maneuvers later on. Some of these could be partially control-based, rewarding mastery without forcing it on everyone.

Building on that, city-based cycling races held once per in-game year or season could serve as community events. Zois could participate, spectate, or volunteer, with outcomes affecting reputation and karma depending on how the race is approached. Fair play and commitment could increase Integrity / Self-Trust Karma, while reckless behavior or causing accidents could negatively affect Social Harm Karma, making races about how you compete, not just winning.

Finally, bikes seem well-suited for future gameplay extensions like active part-time jobs in food or parcel delivery. Overall, even a lighter implementation of these ideas could help cycling an interactable storytelling aspect of the game. Thanks for reading kinuLove

Some small suggestions I have for the VIP experience:

Id love to see small groups of fans taking pictures of famous zois, or coming up to them to ask for a picture of photograph whenever a famous zoi is in a public place.

Sneaking into VIP
It'd be fun if non-famous zois could attempt to sneak into VIP areas, either by creating a distraction for the bouncer, or by flirting with someone who can get them access. Maybe zois can try to bribe the bouncer as well.

Hello! As always, I really like everything you've been showing so far.
I wanted to share a few observations and suggestions that I haven't seen discussed much yet and that I think could significantly improve the experience.

🔹Usability issues🔹

I'm not sure if this is already covered in the fundamentals first roadmap, but one of the biggest issues I've noticed is usability in certain interactions.
I've watched videos from creators in many different countries, and everyone seems to run into the same problems.

Example:
Your Zoi is swimming and you try to click on another object to queue a new interaction.
No interaction menu appears, so the player assumes that the object is not functional and moves on.
However, the object is functional — it just can't be used while the Zoi is swimming, but the game doesn't communicate this at all.

I see two possible solutions that could greatly improve usability:

  • Allow the interaction to be queued, with the Zoi automatically stopping the swimming action to perform it.
  • Or show the interaction menu in a disabled state, with a tooltip explaining why it's currently unavailable.

This is just one example, but there are several similar situations in the game.

Another example, which I already mentioned in a previous post:
The items added during events like Halloween and Christmas ones are amazing, but many players don't know they exist because they don't appear in Build Mode.
My suggestion would be:

  • Keep them visible in the catalog, but locked, clearly showing that they can be unlocked through gameplay.
  • Optionally, add a cheat to unlock them manually.

There are also a few features I really miss:

  • Being able to frame the photos I take and hang them on the walls.
  • Being able to store the paintings my Zoi creates in their inventory, to place them later in their business. Or perhaps an even better solution: a shared furniture inventory between homes and businesses.

Transportation & Travel (Roadmap)

As stated in the roadmap that refueling and maintenance requirements for vehicles with related facilities and interaction are planned, it’s currently not known if some facilities or interactions are planned to be rabbit holes or features accessed through the phone only which is fine, but if it is within the team’s vision, can gas stations and a car wash facility along with refueling please be interactive and considered for added realism and immersion?

Gas Stations/ Electric Stations

  • Manually being able to refuel vehicles or EV charge scooters
  • Be able to fill up jerry fuel cans that we can store in inventory for gas backup

Car Wash

  • Manually washing vehicles with a power washer gun (foam wash and rinse wash)
  • Manually apply car wax and etc. for car protection benefits

**Roadside Service **

  • If we run out of gas and we don’t have a jerry fuel can for backup, a roadside service can be introduced where a fee can be applied for using this emergency service and buying gas.

One thing that stood out was the pool depth slider. Fantastic! I do hope that maybe in the future, you could make it so that we can make the pool super shallow. I would like to suggest transforming the kitchen from a decorative space into a fully physical and interactive system.

Right now, cooking in many life simulation games often feels animation-based, where tools and ingredients appear automatically. I believe inZOI has the potential to go much deeper by making the kitchen fully physical and object-driven.

🍳 Physical Cabinets & Drawers
All cabinets and drawers should be functional.
When a Zoi wants to cook:
•They open a drawer to take a spoon or knife.
•Open a cabinet to grab a pot or plate.
•Take ingredients from visible shelves or storage.

Nothing should appear magically. Every object should exist in the world.

🥄 Real Tool Usage
•Knife taken from drawer → used on cutting board → placed in sink → washed → returned to drawer.
•Spoon taken → used → washed → returned.
•Spices taken from cabinet → used → placed back.
This would make cooking feel intentional and immersive.

🧂 Logical Ingredient Flow
Ingredients should be stored in cabinets, fridge, or pantry shelves.
ZoI takes cereal from the cabinet, milk from the fridge, pours them, then returns both to their proper place.

🧺 Organization Matters
If the kitchen is messy:
•Zois take longer to find tools.
•They may feel stressed or annoyed.
•Dirty dishes left in the sink affect mood.

If the kitchen is organized:
•Cooking becomes faster and smoother.
•Animations look more natural.
•The space feels lived-in.

🏠 Emotional Realism
When objects have fixed places and are physically handled, the house feels alive.
It creates attachment to organization, routine, and daily life — not just animations.

I truly believe this could elevate inZOI’s immersion to the next level.

I'm hopeful with fame, we can eventually get a complete idol career instead of just being stuck as a trainee until we age out of it. I also think that ageing out of being an idol should age you into more mature career directions, like an opera performer, movie star, or director, rather than having to jump from singing straight to administrative work as you get older. Fame could determine what avenues are available for you once you retire.

For an example, I took a look at a Korean girl band that recently broke up with four members: Mamamoo (sorry if this information isn't totally correct, I'm learning this to try to get a better image of what it might look like to age out while successful)
The lead singer went on to do stage performances and web series, the rapper started a solo album after appearing on some tv shows, the first to leave the group made a full album that seems to be touring now, and the more controversial figurehead released a few songs and started modeling.

Those are different paths to go as the singers aged out of a kpop girl band into more long term careers. I believe this was a relatively successful girl group that the members outgrew, so it's fair to use this as an example of what high fame adults who no longer fit into the young adult idol space do with their careers.

I also think it’s very important to improve fabric physics in the game.

Right now, the clothing models look visually detailed and realistic, but they sometimes feel stiff almost like plastic. Adding more natural fabric movement would make a huge difference in immersion.

Curtains should react to the environment.
•If a window is opened, curtains could move gently with the air.
•Strong weather could make them move more noticeably.
•Light passing through moving curtains would create a beautiful atmosphere.

These kinds of fabric physics clothes, sheets, curtains are small details, but they add emotional realism and make the world feel dynamic instead of static.

I believe focusing on these physical details would greatly enhance immersion and make everyday life feel more natural and believable.

IRL, most of these are local formations (unless regional/global). Step away from the mainstream and even top niche musicians, artists, gamers, athletes, skaters, surfers, photographers, fashion designers, chefs are mostly known only in their local groups. Their struggle for recognition is exactly what makes gameplay fun

Since inZOI cities are being rebuilt from BB content, players will get more places. With clubs and weekly events planned, it wouldn’t be hard to tie in separate clubhouses and reputations

Club System

  • Customizable clubs: artists, photographers, athletes, geeks, chefs, skaters, surfers, rockers, bikers, gangs/underground, etc
  • Unique moves: greetings, mandatory actions, preferences and red flags
  • Districts and clubhouses (habitats, gathering places)
  • Events when clubs spend time together and invite others
  • Separate reputation meters within clubs: unlock VIP areas in their clubhouses, trophies and actions, and allow to become the club leader
  • Fame meter: fills up when Zois become known outside the local clubs

For ex., in The URBZ, Bikers hang out at Gasoline Row (warehouses filled with highway travelers and bikers), race illegally, use moves Back Slap, Blow Flame, Body Bonk, Body Slam, S__k Face, Tuck’n’Hug; dress at Splitz Leather Emporium, work at Duke’s Chop Shop (bike parts), have their clubhouse Biker Bar (serving strong beverages and exotic local concoctions), with a VIP the Back Room, grilled sausages

Since you guys are still working on the active movie theater lots.. Could they also be active job lots for Teens and Young Adults?

Teens could work there as a part time job.. (Ticket booths, concession stands, and theater cleaners)

Young adult Zoi’s could become supervisors and managers.

Also, Celebrities could host special “movie screenings” or opening night events..

VIP areas could also be added to the theaters for those specific events.

The number one reason I stop playing every time I try to play is that the game is missing meaning between the zois, (1) the families in the game are not interesting enough. Why do they live in an expensive house and have no jobs? Their backstory need to make sense with what we see in the game so that I want to interact with them. I usually stop playing because it feels like I need to go in and fix everyone before I can start playing with my family. If my family is the only one making sense, there is no fun in interacting and finding out about others.
(2) I want to know the zois have impact on each other. Why are they attracted to each other? I want to build resentment or lasting locality or some type of impression that is unique to them. I guess a memory system\attraction would help a lot, which I know is coming, but I also really need to see conflicts… what makes them different, what do they have to work around. For example a shy zoi being with a confident one: it needs to mean something, are they attracted to that trait? Or are they annoyed with their partner not measuring up? Do they feel sorry for them? What if one wants children and the other doesn’t. I need to see meaningful conflicts between them in some way, and that the relationship between them matter. I love creating opposites and create drama between zois, but it feels that whatever I do there is no lingering meaning or feeling towards each other of what they mean for each other. It’s hard to explain, would love to hear others thoughts on this… ❤️
That being said, I believe the game is going to get there and I’m already very impressed and hopeful, it’s just lacking that missing thing to bring it all together 🤗

For the award ceremony it could be some type of dungeon (a dungeon isn't a jail it's like a select place where it only shows a location)
and the limo pulls up to a red carpet prompting your zoi to walk to on the red carpet with maybe some fake NPCs with cameras that you have to walk through.

And then there could be inzois own met gala where they take pictures before heading into the award ceremony.

For the met gala part there could be a theme that your zoi has to dress for.

I don’t think my previous comment was sent. I think what would help with it feeling meaningful is to make conflict or traits mean something between zois. For example with the fame system coming up and the attraction system: if zois can be attracted to their career, fame, status, money, house but not physically and this being LABELLED in the relationship panel and influencing AI thought and actions would make it meaningful. I love playing off fun stereotypes as well, like a young girl who might be a gold digger, is attracted to an older guys money and fame, but not physically. This can influence her as in that lingering question if this is enough for her? Will see cheat with someone she finds attractive? And for the other person, having this labelled between them, he might feel insecure and jealous knowing this, or if he is a cold zoi, he doesn’t care as long as he knows he gets what he wants out of the relationship, which might be a beautiful woman by his side.

while I can agree with you that realism in inzoi is very cool theme. But we already live on earth that has a lot of realism to begin with. If I want total realism, I will just live my life.

For example in dowon, there are many dark empty ally ways. It feels like there should be something in these mazes. I think once I found a door that led to no where. It feels cool walking in between buildings, but there is nothing to do in there other than take up space. It kinda becomes just something that is there with no meaning. Inzoi is still a game at the end of the day, and I feel it doesn't need to hit reality 1:1. It can dabble into fantasy themes a bit.

I am not saying to turn inzoi into dark souls or harry potter. But we already have mining and farming. What's another little achievement players can unlock to spice up the game.

I guess it comes down to preference, I personally like finding empty alleyways because it gives me ideas of gameplay when homeless zois come to the game.

I would be less excited to find a treasure box there and quite frankly it would annoy me and I'd likely go seeking a mod to remove them. Now if I were to go intentionally looking for treasure using a metal detector as someone above me suggested, I would prefer this a lot more.

I don’t mind if the game isn’t 100% realistic and agree that, as a game, a fun and enjoyable experience should be the main aim. But, I wonder if instead of treasure chests, there were functional skip bins (the big bins - not sure what they’re called in other countries) down these alleyways that when searched have items of value.

Or maybe a black market merchant is hiding down an alleyway (and he moves from one alleyway to another each day, so you have to search for him) and he sells things you can’t find elsewhere.

Maybe these hidden objects in the skip bins/black market could be donuts you can’t find in the meow store (like one that erases karma or reputation, or one that makes you immune to death for one day, so that you can hack into all the atms without risk of electrocution, or invisible to the police so you can go on a crime spree).

The real problem is how the loot is integrated into the setting and the genre concept, rather than simply being scattered around. At some point many game studios stopped thinking and just started stamping games one after another using the same design formula. This reached a peak in something like Hogwarts Legacy, where you sweat through a dungeon only to find a chest with outfit (cosmetics), so players started asking questions: how and why? Yet a decade earlier, studios managed to find fitting game design solutions for almost every game.

Similar with the Sims. In TS2 we dug up the lot with a shovel looking for loot, but with the risk of breaking a pipe. Then someone once dropped fossils on the ground in TS3, and felt so enlightened that TS4 and even inZOI followed the same path and spawned piles of ore in parks and schoolyards. I try my best not to notice them so I don’t burst out (no offense to the devs, but why?)

@void slate I’ll go with your suggestion. In TS3 or TS4 Eco Lifestyle, you could do “dumpster diving”, and also find Vendor at Trashley’s Goods Company in B&H and buy boxes, Power-Sip, Confident potion, etc.), and in inZOI this would fit really well for homeless, “dumpster divers”, and ofc, shady NPCs (dealers) are interesting too. This will definitely diversify the game with its currently monotonous Zoi NPCs.

(this time, I’ve dived so deep into the topic of various social classes and districts, that it’ll be a real shame if the devs just skipped over it)

I would also love to see fully active school system where players can attend school in real time. This includes interactive classes, exams, projects, and relationship-building with classmates and teachers.
The system should feature after-school activities (clubs, sports, events) and a full school life progression, ending with graduation and an attendable prom. At prom, players should be able to socialize, choose outfits, and have a chance to become Prom Queen or Prom King.
I think this would add even more depth, immersion, and long-term storytelling to the game.

I also wish to see pets like dogs and cats that Zois can adopt from shelters or buy at the store and care for. Zois should be able to build bonds with them, walk dogs in parks, play, train them, and include them in everyday life.

Hey Kjun! I'd love if we could have the option to play the game as all of your family of zois at once, whether they live in different houses or not. E.g. you are playing as one zoi, they meet another, and then they have a family of multiple zois. Now when each of those next generation of zois grow up and move out, I'd love to have the option for them to still stay down the right hand side with the other zois, but when you click on them it takes you to their house and their life. So that I can have my zois living different lives, but still be controlling all the family of zois I have created rather than switching between saves or leaving the house, going to the city map, selecting another house etc.

On the concept of wardrobe , it would be fun if the fashion stores in the cities could sell unique clothes that the player don’t have, it could create a new joy for shopping , especially for example if someone had to buy a formal outfit at a store for a big event or a wedding dress for a wedding event , or just casual outfits or holidays outfits or outfits with a certain style .

In the future, if there are fashion careers , careers related more to stylist / seamstress , the current customizing system allowing players to make adjustments to clothes , could be improved for those that would be in these careers to allow players to create clothes .
Maybe choosing among type of presets for different parts of a clothes . The player could then open a boutique and sell the unique clothes they made.
Clothes that could be added in the wardrobe in its own category like home made clothes.

or just work in an existing brand and make clothes for a company. And the player could buy the clothes at the brand in their own free time .

Hello, a comment about hair: long hair, when you look at the back, doesn't touch the back and "floats" in a clump, which is really not aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore, it goes through scarves, some collars... some necklaces. Long hair doesn't rest on the torso; it "floats" in one piece. It's really strange and illogical. This also poses problems with outfits, so I never use them.

Please, just don't rush it. I don't know a single game, which ended up being good, when rushed. And it kills motivation and creativity in your teams.
And also, the UI is terrible. Move away from those simple UI designs, it feels so soulless, like a corporate game. As for the bikes, just make them feel like they have proper physics and don't feel so static. But good work!

  • zois having to know another zoi in order to gain access to some clubs and VIP areas
  • zois needing to be a celebrity or famous to gain access
  • zois needing to be a part of a organization in order to gain access
  • I also like in your photos the zones you have for roping off the VIP areas within open concept clubs. where it's not needing a door and walls (though that option would be there) and you can set down an invisible zone that can be resized for VIP zones. Then, we can assign a bouncer or guard to prevent entry there unless criteria is met.
  • In order for zois to reach global level fame (other worlds know who your zoi is) there should be a set of pathway jobs and opportunities to complete first that help boost this publicity
  • I'd like a system where some zois hate celebs and others love them. Including celebrities loving being a celeb and celebrities hating being a celeb and wishing for a normal life.
  • Celebs needing to travel to other worlds for events and jobs
  • Not every type of celebrity can gain quick fame or at all, so I'd like there to be a setting we as players can set, which gives different variations to how easy or difficult it'd be to achieve fame, because not everyone likes playing the same way.   • It'd be nice to be able not have all zois know your zoi/or others is a celebrity, unless it's revealed by the celeb themselves or by others, unless this is a interest of theirs. That's where I think 3 levels of fame should be implemented: local (people they know and neighborhood specific), world (a zoi's home world no matter where they go), global (all worlds)
  • As far as being a celebrity it would be nice if they could apply a 'disguise' which would just be a self-action that makes everyone ignore that celebrity status when they're around. But if you select 'take disguise off' everyone will recognize them again.
  • I know this might be unrealistic but zois being able to have favorite celebrities and celebrity crushes.

  • Gas generator a low cost buy and solar generators for high cost buy, they'd be able to be used in the event of a power outage or while camping.

Honestly, I don't like going to the customization screen when changing clothes. It's inconvenient because of the unnecessary loading time when going to the customization screen.

The Sims was like that too. However, I hope inzoi will be different. I want to keep the background of the house with the current wardrobe, with Zoi standing in front of it and only the clothing selection screen appearing.

It would be more realistic and immersive. I think this photo someone posted a while ago is a good example.

Thanks! I got inspired by Watch Dogs 2, so here’s a video demonstration of multiple clothing stores (boutiques), their assortments, and seamless try‑on in each.

It’s probably more realistic to try on in fitting rooms, but then they’d need to be fairly spacious so the camera doesn’t clip (or else use a free camera). Still, the seamless try‑on is absolutely essential.

Are the developers considering "apartments" or "rental houses" features? I'd love to see them added someday.
I imagine various families living in rental houses that are 5-10 stories high, and visiting friends upstairs is so exciting! I imagined conflicts between floors due to noise, and cockroaches in older apartments.
I've also been thinking about a "roommate" feature. While your roommate isn't a playable character, I think that would actually enhance the immersion.
I can imagine some tension and unpredictable episodes. I hope features like these come out someday!

If inzoi decides to allow zois download from canvas be in the game, please have an option for us to select which zois we want in our game. There could be issue when a downloaded zoi includes mods that we decide not to download, that would end up in the zoi being undressed or incomplete and that would make a mess of our game.

You make an interesting point ive always had issues with as well. Which, is why I hope they take a Animal Crossing and Life By You approach, where clothing act as actual items and you can click on them to put them on or place in your bag for later to use/put on.

Because I too dont like having to boot up CAZ to change clothes like a shirt. If they go to change at a dresser like you said, the background of where they currently are remains.

And it would work the same if we were go to a mirror, and want to change their make up or hair, the background remains and the face shows inside the mirror. Quick loads in and out.

When we build a room on a roof, the roof shouldn't disappear entirely. Instead, the part of the roof inside the room should become invisible, while the part outside remains visible. This way, the room would be habitable.

It seems I discredited my post with the wrong approach, but I know that people want and are waiting for the Club System. So, after playing The URBZ I studied the UI in MyBusiness and in TS4 Get Together Clubs, and sketched another concept.

Although I wanted to cover the whole spectrum of clubs, from an underground fight club to a child school club, in fact, it differs little from MyBusiness, and yes, from Get Together, except, I’d like to see reputation within the club, which would allow establishing relationships inside, unlocking VIP Area (back room), changing the leader.

I’d like to see a freelance artist career. Work opportunities could be dependent on skill level with some options including:

  • caricature drawing for people on the street
  • drawing artwork for children’s books
  • selling art to local galleries
  • completing murals for local businesses*

*this last idea is inspired by Melbourne (a city in Australia where street art and graffiti is huge). There are laneways completely covered with graffiti and street art and local businesses will sometimes hire artists to complete murals on their buildings to prevent or discourage graffiti.

There are a variety of stores you'd see IRL, which should be reflected more closely in in Inzoi.

Beyond supermarkets and furniture stores, I would love to see more specialized shops that connect to hobbies, personality, and daily life. For example:
• A Craft & Art Supply Store (yarn, fabrics, clay, embroidery kits, DIY materials) where Zois can create handmade items or gifts.
• A Gift & Elegant Wrap Boutique for candles, guest serving sets, decorative trays, and the ability to wrap presents before giving them.
• A Mug & Tableware Specialty Shop for collectible cups, plates, and personalized mugs where Zois can have a “favorite cup” they always use.
• A Detailed Toy Store with different types of toys that children can get attached to emotionally.
• A Plant & Garden Shop for seeds, tools, and indoor plants.

Driving is such a great experience so far—I’m really excited to see more car styles added in the future. Being able to park cars in garages or parking lots would be next-level immersion.

One small concern I’ve noticed is that Zois often forget they even own cars and default to taking the bus. Maybe a preferred transportation option (or priority tree) could help down the line? Once you buy a car, it would feel more natural for Zois to automatically use it when traveling, instead of having to choose between “Drive here” and “Go here” every time.

I’d love to see the idol career extended to Bliss Bay locals as well. A city like Bliss Bay feels like it would naturally house music stars, executives, producers, and industry insiders—not just performers, but the whole ecosystem around them.

For the fame system, making fame optional would be amazing. Maybe Zois only enter the fame track if they sign with a talent agent or manager, which opts them into public exposure. That way, players who want a quiet life can have one, and players who want chaos, paparazzi, and headlines can lean all the way in 😄

Fame also doesn’t have to be limited to idols. Streamers, entrepreneurs, criminals/hustlers, athletes, and even controversial figures could gain fame through different paths—again, possibly requiring representation (agent, manager, publicist) to formalize it.

At higher fame levels, gameplay could really shift:
Journalists and paparazzi start showing up
Crowds or mobs form around famous Zois
Public reactions affect mood, safety, or reputation
Famous Zois may need hired help (security, drivers, assistants) to travel safely

I also love the idea of non-criminal legal systems tying into fame—lawyers offering services like contract disputes, defamation cases, or civil lawsuits, not just crime-related consequences. That could add so much depth and realism.

My Zoi, who I created as children or who were born in the game, are becoming young adults.

I didn't really enjoy this phase with my first Zois, because I was eager for them to have children, seeing the children, the various stages of life, discovering the game, etc.

But I intend to do so with my second generation. For this reason, I'm sending them to live alone (or rather, with one or two roommates their age; otherwise, I wouldn't have enough lots).

But I find it sad that they're leaving the house like this, in a "cold" way. A simple computer operation.

I'd like there to be an event where family members, especially parents, are moved, give their child good wishes, wish them luck, hug them, experience even conflicting emotions, etc., etc. A child's leaving home is a significant event.

Related to this, but not necessarily, it would be nice to have more affectionate interactions between parents and children, hugs, kisses, obviously in the "affection" category, not the "romantic" one.

Finally, a real estate project to address population growth. Condominiums with many apartments, suitable for hosting a few roommates or young couples without children, would be ideal.

inZOI is heading strongly toward realism, and naturally casual hairstyles would fit perfectly. Not messy, but not perfectly styled straight out of a salon either. ✨

  • along the sides and back,
  • not a thick “freshly washed” mass of hair, but hair with movement and variability. 🌿

We need more residential lots or for all of the different cities to be accessible through one save file. That way Zoi’s can travel back and forth to see extended family.

There should be an option within the game for older children to “talk to parents about moving out” and for there to be a special event, if the kids are “leaving the nest.”

Also, Parents should randomly visit their adult children in their new homes and send them gifts.

Also, Adult Zoi’s who are living on their own and are struggling, should be able to “Ask Parents for money”… and have different ways the parents could react.

Careers That Would Go Well With Fame
Modeling

Children should practice modeling purely for fun, like playing pretend. Animations should feel playful and childish. They could practice in front of a mirror (catwalk poses) or by clicking on a wardrobe and changing outfits.

Example outfit for a girl: a beach hat, sunglasses, a dress, a bag, and fur around the shoulders—posing like a rich lady and walking the catwalk 🤣

Thinking about the "reputation" and "fame" systems, I realized that it was necessary to expand on the emotions other zois might experience when observing zois with superior abilities in those areas.
When people perceive that others are superior or better than them in some way, and that they themselves are inferior, they compare themselves to them and may feel "envy" or "jealousy."
And these emotions can intimidate ordinary zois or even cause feelings of self-destruction. When encountering a superior zoi, they compare themselves to that person and become slightly depressed.

However, not all zois are like this.

It can vary depending on temperament and personality. For example, those who prefer frugality or are introverted may be less likely to experience such emotions.
However, zois who appreciate success, popularity, fame, or extravagance may experience these emotions much more strongly.
These emotions can be expressed as:
"I envy the rich!"
"I envy the popularity! "I envy someone who's famous!"

I was very disappointed that these two bugs were not addressed in February’s known issues:

  1. When choosing Medical Birth and getting consent from a Zoi of the same gender while unmarried to them, the baby only considers one Zoi as the parent when it should count both.
  2. When choosing to adopt a baby or Medical Birth with settings set to First Name - Last Name, the baby’s last name is automatically generated in the First Name slot when it should left blank.

Please, please take notice of these issues and fix them whenever possible.

I'm glad to the see the implementation of a fame system and VIP areas in clubs. There are a lot of great ideas posted here. Currently, the clubs are not as lively as I would like them top be. I realize that the number of zois on the lots may be restricted to accommodate lower end computers, but I hope that we can get options to increase the number of zois that show up at the clubs.
The sale of drinks from the bars should also be bringing in revenue for business owners of clubs and restaurants - need a way to tag them as a sales items. Club VIPs should also bring in substantial additional revenue for private area access, purchase of top shelf drinks, and a dedicated host to take care of all their requests. I just hope that something can be done to have the employees be more focused on their jobs.... some do not complete any work tasks, others may even try to catch up on their sleep during work hours.
With a few additional changes (bring back djs and hosts, add bartenders and bouncers), the club scene could be very entertaining.

Development Suggestion: A Multifaceted Fame System in inZoi

I believe that inZoi’s new fame system has enormous potential to become one of the game’s deepest and most immersive core pillars. Currently, in many life-simulation games, fame is often treated in a very generic way, which limits the variety of stories and character paths that can emerge.

My suggestion is that fame in inZoi should not be just about being famous, but rather why and in which field a Zoi becomes famous.

📌 Fame Based on Fields of Activity

Zois could achieve fame for different reasons and careers, reflecting the real world more accurately. A Zoi could be known as:

A highly successful business tycoon

A renowned doctor at the top of their career

A singer adored by fans

A visual artist famous for their works

An athlete recognized for championship victories

Even a notorious crime boss (reinforcing that fame can be positive or negative)

To support this, I suggest dividing fame into major core areas, each with its own specific sub-areas, making the system deeper, more strategic, and more narrative-driven.

Can we work on zoi auto-pathing to objects?

There are times when ZOIs will for some reason prefer going to objects directly above them (ie. Go find stairs, then walk to room) as oppose to objects in the same room to say sit on after cooking a meal to eat (just as an example).

On a different note.

The relationship meters for romance should be synchronized or pretty darn close between ZOI A and ZOI B. otherwise, terms like "mutual crush", "sweetheart", etc. aren't really "mutual". For some reason, right now it's possible for Zoi A's relationship panel to show they have mutual crush with Zoi B, but if you check the relationship panel from Zoi B's perspective it doesn't say mutual crush. Hence NOT mutual....

Just like in real life, fame can be temporary. If a Zoi stops engaging in public activities, avoids media exposure, or fails to remain relevant, their fame should gradually decline. This system could function similarly to the needs system:

Fame increases when the player completes tasks, attends events, or makes strategic public decisions.

Fame decreases when the Zoi becomes inactive, avoids exposure, or fails to maintain their public image.

To make this mechanic more engaging, I suggest the inclusion of scripted challenges and dilemma-based events, where players must make choices. Depending on the decision made, fame could increase, remain stable, or decrease. This would add meaningful consequences, challenge, and narrative depth to the gameplay.

I would also love to see children and teenagers able to gain fame, with an age-appropriate and adapted system. Their fame-related activities and careers would be more restricted, but still meaningful, ensuring they are not excluded from immersion or storytelling within the game world.

Another important aspect would be the addition of new personality traits closely tied to the world of fame, such as

Envy

Jealousy

Desire for recognition

Egocentrism

Shyness

Discreet personality

These traits could directly influence a Zoi’s behavior, social interactions, decision-making, and how they emotionally handle fame and public attention.

Finally, realism could be further enhanced through expanded aesthetic options, including:

Bold and unconventional hairstyles

Refined and high-quality makeup options

Or perhaps authors or artists could use a pseudonym to avoid gaining fame. Because some might want to play a zoi who is an artist or author with little or no fame.

Development Suggestion – Physical Exercise Skill Through Bicycles (inZoi)

One suggestion that could enhance inZoi’s gameplay is integrating bicycle riding into the physical exercise skill system. Since cycling is a real physical activity, it could directly contribute to a Zoi’s fitness development, making the mechanic more immersive and realistic.

Additionally, adding stationary exercise bikes to gyms as workout equipment would be a great improvement, allowing Zois to train indoors and expanding the variety of physical activities available in the game.

As a complement, there could be a learning mechanic for riding a bicycle, functioning as a beginner skill. Inexperienced Zois might struggle at first and gradually improve through practice, adding progression, realism, and greater depth to the skill system.

This implementation would bring more variety to physical activities, strengthen the life simulation aspect, and make Zoi development even more engaging.

On the fame system…

My one fear with the fame system is having famous people showing up everywhere you go and having everyone crowd around them. it’s what happened in the sims 4 and I hated it - it completely changed the atmosphere of a quiet cafe. Perhaps famous people could be more likely to appear at some locations/events than others.

Now that we're expecting more in depth clubs and the fame system, there needs to be more exclusive places for our Zois to go. Many people have been requesting this for months, but there needs to be more in depth restaurants.

Imagine your famous Zoi going to exclusive high end restaurant reservations. Wait staff bring out mouth watering food and beverages to your table. Speaking of drinks, now that the Inzoi staff are working out using two different hands at once one thing I noticed not many games in any genre has done is have characters eat and drink in the same meal. Think about it. Many of us have a beverage with our meals, but we hardly see characters eat and drink at the same time. It's either animating characters just eating or just drinking. I have a feeling the reason for that is because it's tricky to program.

I absolutely love this idea. Voice customization would make Zois feel much more unique and alive.
I would also love to see animation variety connected to voice and personality.
Right now, many Zois feel similar not only because of their voice, but also because they share very similar idle animations and reactions.
For example
– A shy Zoi could avoid eye contact, speak softly, and have smaller, reserved gestures.
– A dominant or confident Zoi could stand upright, use stronger hand movements, and maintain eye contact.
– A playful or energetic Zoi could move more, smile often, and use expressive body language.
– A serious Zoi might have minimal facial expressions and controlled movements.
If voice type, voice behavior, and animation style were connected, every Zoi would feel like a truly different personality not just the same character with a different outfit.

Honestly, this is the most interesting proposal for me. I wrote almost the same thing here: #1466774958700236800 message, but I tied it to Clubs as one of the most marketable and reusable system, so that players could earn authority / reputation / fame / leadership whether inside a child group, a criminal cell, or a dynasty, or outside (which is exactly what’s happening in Sims now, reusing the club system for dynasties).

But even my proposal won’t receive enough support, I’ll stick to yours (I wouldn’t want something generic like in the worst sold Get Famous – 400k copies vs Get Together / City Living 1–3M copies, I want our own scenarios of reputation and fame for any kind of activity, in any profession, or interest‑based, or dynasty-based community.)

I believe that success, especially in the early stages of development, lies in the core systems, which in more concise and somewhat simple ways create opportunities for the widest variety of play styles. Their niche aspects can then serve as bonus additions, so as not to drive away another part of the player base, especially due to annoying factors, as @void slate wrote.

Hello Kjun, I also find that the interface takes up a lot of space, and sometimes it is difficult to remove the discussions (when you have clicked on a zoî to talk to it, it is not easy to remove the discussions, I never know where to click, and the screen is completely filled with these discussions). On the other hand, I think that there should be a visible signal when the members of the family have a problem, ex: allergy, if we play with the other character in the family, we are not necessarily informed. I want to further discuss wheelchairs. It dawned on me that there are very few games in general that have characters using wheelchairs, crutches, canes or other mobility aids.

Most likely it would be something that would have to be something when the game is out of early access, but it would be neat to be able to have your Zois use a wheelchair or walker. I know in Sims 3 elderly Sims could use a cane in one of the expansion packs.

I feel like moods like anger and depression should sometimes affect how a zoi reacts back to another zoi when the other zoi is talking to the angry zoi, because when the zoi is angry, why is the zoi receptive in doing happy animation? They should sometimes do a different animation, like not feeling the happy vibes. When zois are not crushes yet, the animation differs when you try to romance a zoi, but when the zoi you talk to is upset or sad, if you perform a happy conversation, the zoi you talk to is suddenly okay?

A zoi who is angry and when the person who angered them initiates a conversation, the angry zoi’s animation should change into a different animation to match the angry mood, because this will be more real realistic, otherwise, you have a extremely angry zoi jumping all happy and flirting back happily, without it reflecting the mood the zoi is feeling, except the face expression showing how they feel.. but that sometimes can be overlooked or not noticeable. The zoi you speak to who is extremely angry at you should at least cross their arm or sigh in the conversation, because they aren’t in the mood to talk to you yet, so they won’t be jumping in joy when a happy interaction is triggered by you.. this detail will help keep reaction realistic.

    An interesting addition to the new Fame system would be the Comedian career. A Zoi could perform in different contexts, such as street performances, small bars, comedy clubs, and stand-up shows.

Career progression would be level-based, reflecting the character’s professional growth. The Zoi would start by performing in improvised spaces or on the streets and, as they gain experience, recognition, and fame, could advance to larger stages and more prestigious events, eventually reaching the top of the career as a well-known comedian.

This career could be directly connected to the Fame system, charisma, social skills, and even audience reactions, making each performance a unique and dynamic challenge.

  1. Digital Influencer Activity / Career
    Another possibility would be the inclusion of a digital influencer activity or career, integrated with an in-game social media platform.

To maintain and grow their influence, the Zoi would need to complete various daily tasks, such as:

Taking photos of themselves;

Photographing places and events;

Posting content regularly;

Interacting with followers;

Building friendships with influential Zois;

Pleasing fans and dealing with public opinion.

Progression in this career would require the development of multiple skills, such as charisma, creativity, photography, communication, and image management. Yes yes and yes. To wheelchairs!! Disabled ppl barely get ANY representation when it comes to video games. I would also love crutches and canes available for older ppl.

Also casts! So maybe instead of straight up dying whenever you get ran over by a car you can get teleported to the hospital where they give you a cast for your shoulder or wheelchair/crutches and it can be randomized. But ofc having the option for a person to be disabled from the start/cas would be amazing.

I mean even a kids game like meepcity in ROBLOX has wheelchairs. I don't see why a realistic game like inzoi shouldn't so I would love that. Representation is super important

  • Business owners company hits a massive goal and are photographed for a magazine (Zorbes 😂) - shows up on billboard

  • Celebrity/brand owner creates ad campaign for perfume, clothing products etc. - depending on fame level of celeb or money spent for biz owner, this could be a global campaign.

Dear Kjun, this probably wont make it to your response anymore but I'd like to file a complaint about the bug report forum: as much as we feel heard and seen overhere, on the bug reports it feels like most reports get ignored. People are fed up with bugs that have been around for months and their reports are being ignored. Other bugs are really disruptive to gameplay but get no response either. Please put more effort in communication about bug fixing because I am worried we'll soon be piling more content on top of bugs and making a fix even more complicated. We dont want this game to turn into an unplayable mess please!

  2. Expanded Access Requirements: Additional/alternative requirements besides "Fame", such as:

Reputation: Exclusive zones for "bad reputation" Zois (criminal hangouts).

Careers/Skills: High-security professional areas.

Wealth: For low-profile but wealthy Zois.

Fashion: Check for "style" tags (posh, hipster, Halloween costumes, etc.) or specific categories (formal, party wear).

Combined Filters: Requirements like "Famous AND/OR Wealthy."

  1. Bypassing Requirements:

Private Rentals: Players could be able to rent a VIP room for private parties and invite specific Zois, bypassing standard requirements.

Invites: Zois could sometimes receive a "VIP Invite" via SMS/Social Media—perfect for "social climber" storylines.

Persuasion: Options to bribe, convince, or seduce the bouncer.

  1. VIP Room Effects:

Fame: Faster fame/status gain.

Relationships: Easier relationship building (networking/among peers “mood”).

Scandals/Consequences: If a Zoi misbehaves (fights/insistent failed flirting), the bouncer kicks them out, potentially causing a scandal (with potential reputation loss but fame boost).

Especially the fashion part since ive been asking for models, photographers and designers since day 1!! They should also have athletes along with that too.. Like having a basketball star, and also some who's well known but not as famous, same with football, baseball, soccer, etc. Eventho I wouldn't know how they'll implement athletes tho if not going the rabbit hole route, but i just thought that'll be cool too.

Following up with specific feedback on the UI. I look forward to seeing your proposal for the new interface, as I agree it still needs some polish.

In summary, I believe the HUD should feel lighter and more discreet, while the GUI should offer more organized and detailed information.

These are my (highly) subjective suggestions:

  1. HUD:

• Transparency & Immersion: The transparency on the date/time/weather is perfect and non-intrusive. I suggest applying similar transparency or more discreet "glassmorphism" effects to other HUD elements to keep the focus on the game world, including the colours that surround the Zoi picture!

• SmartZoi Placement: I believe this would be better suited within the "Zoi Card" (GUI) to declutter the HUD.

• Simplified Buttons: Consider merging "Edit Property" and "Edit House" into a single "Edit Lot" button.

    The detail in the Relationships card (especially the memories by Zoi!) is fantastic. I’d love to see that same data density applied to other sections.

Ideally, clicking a specific element (like a specific Skill) should open a much more detailed view than we have today, showing: specific progress, benefits per level, records, and related challenges and opportunities (if/when you add those!).

I understand the UI is a Work in Progress while core systems are being developed, but I hope these ideas can somehow be useful!

You’re absolutely right.
The main problem with this lies in the players. More people come to the discord and ask for new features and leave reactions on “ideas” and not many people are leaving “me-too” in the forums. The more people report on a bug the likely hood of its importance getting moved up on the list.
I spend more time when I’m playing taking notes and screenshots of bugs than enjoying the game. As a tech by profession, I don’t want to do that when I’m spending my free time so I’ve stopped playing for a while.

Ive stopped playing too because of bugs. Babies and toddlers are a huge hassle and no fun at all because of how bugged their needs are and babysitters are a menace that refuse to leave your home. Running a business is more about making sure no bugs ruin your business day than actually focusing on the business. Flickering lights and weird yellow lighting issues make it annoying to play on the highest settings and make taking screenshots for social media a hassle. Family trees break down when you move to a new town. Story progression for non-active families is broken so schools are empty and towns slowly become grey and die out. Car gameplay is a mess that I don't even bother with. The genetics system is broken producing clones while Kjun confirmed that's not how it should be working.

Ive been super patient knowing this is early access but the lack of communication about fixing what's actually broken instead of adding or tweaking features is worrying.

I must admit, I was kind of expecting more frequent bug fix updates being dropped week to week alongside the expansion of fundamentals. (Kind of how it was last year)

Seeing and discussing new features is super fun but there needs to be a balance of the two.

I really hope there isn't too much going on at once for the team to handle, this was my initial concern when they announced they were splitting the teams up to focus on different huge gameplay elements at the same time. Sounds great on paper, difficult to implement in real life.

The issue is that if you don’t propose ideas yourself, someone else will do it for you, and then you get that kind of FOMO, like, “ugh, I had the chance to contribute myself.” I can step back easily, but if we agree to talk about bugs next time, it should be everyone’s word to start from their own. tbh, I’ve been improvising comments often since Kjun drives the agenda. And this time, I’ll admit… fame and enhanced Karma feel waaay too niche for early stages of development, and I often wanted to ground the topics more, or at least reframe these systems as more grounded, rather than like niche DLC. The main topics you brought up were bicycle riding, the fame system, UI improvements, expanded jobs and careers, clubs and VIP areas, stronger social interactions, and more realistic gameplay elements. Hearing so many different perspectives honestly made me reflect on how limited my own thinking can be. Your detailed ideas have made me rethink our development direction once again.

Bicycle & Transportation Updates

We’ve added the ability for two people to ride a bicycle together, and you also suggested great additions like kids’ bikes, toddler seats, and even letting pets ride in the basket. Many of you also asked for things like playing music while cycling and adding more varied riding animations. We may not be able to do everything at once, but I’ll keep these ideas in mind and add them bit by bit whenever we can.

For vehicles, you requested realistic features such as autopilot driving, parking, vehicle maintenance (refueling, car washes), and rentals like limousines or party buses. For now, we’re restoring the parking lots, and we’re currently implementing a system where you can select a family member and have them park a car in the lot. Once the car is parked, you’ll be able to interact with it.
Also—after finally making a bit more progress with optimization, we’re now reviewing whether we can place vehicles out on the streets. When we first introduced inZOI, we talked about building a world like this… and it feels like we’re finally starting to make it real.

Fame & Social Status System

Some of you suggested splitting fame into categories—arts, sports, professional careers, crime, and more—so each area could have its own fanbase, events, and career paths. There were also ideas for VIP entry requirements that combine multiple conditions (fame, reputation, wealth, job, outfit, etc.), plus “workarounds” like bribes, persuasion, or invitations.

We actually planned a more segmented system early on, but we worried that splitting it too much might feel more like “levels” or “XP” in each category. We wanted fame to represent one simple idea: “How famous are you?”—so we leaned toward a single value instead.

You also proposed realistic social phenomena tied to fame—fans and stalkers, bodyguards, paparazzi, and media exposure. And honestly, this made me think: if we connect the fame system to the idol career we’re planning to develop starting this summer, it could work really well. That’s a fantastic idea.

Another suggestion I strongly agreed with (haha) was making fame optional, so players can choose a quiet life or a life in the spotlight depending on what they want. That modular approach makes a lot of sense.

UI & User Experience Improvements

You asked for improvements like UI scaling, transparency options, simplified interfaces, and expandable detail panels—basically making the HUD/GUI easier to read and use. We’re already working on this. We’ve decided to support smaller UI sizes and multiple UI types. We’ll keep pushing to reflect your feedback as much as we can.

For the wardrobe system, many of you wanted more immersive features—changing outfits in real time, showing only owned clothes, carrying shopping bags after purchasing, etc. There were also suggestions for voice customization and more animation variety based on personality so each character feels more unique. Voice customization is now included in our development plan too. 🙂

Expanded Jobs & Career Progression

You suggested a wide range of career paths—fashion designer, model, comedian, digital influencer, firefighter, delivery driver, photographer, bodyguard, security guard, and more—along with deeper stages and challenges for each career.
In particular, many of you proposed connecting careers with the fame system—building and managing fame as an entertainer, athlete, entrepreneur, criminal, and so on. This aligns closely with our team’s direction, so I’m really glad to see that. We’re currently developing jobs, and we’ll definitely use these suggestions as references.

Gameplay & World Improvements

You asked for more natural character behavior, like swimming, climbing stairs, more varied conversation animations, and improved lip-sync.
For clubs, you suggested letting players create clubs based on hobbies or careers, manage members, set activities, and even operate VIP areas.
For schools, you proposed deeper systems like real-time classes, exams, homework, club activities, graduation ceremonies, and prom—great points we’ll reference when we build the school content.
You also mentioned seasonal festivals, local cultural events, sports tournaments, arts and volunteer activities, and more recurring regional events.
And on the building side, you discussed improving the building tools, fixing roof and stair issues, adding a “delete all furniture” function, expanding housing, and supporting multi-family housing.

It’s really cool to see you working on Fame and deeper career systems for K-pop idols. This has so much potential and could make the world feel way more alive and reactive.

You mentioned that Fame affects things like VIP invites in clubs, which is awesome. I think it could go even further—like, the higher your Fame, the more ZOIs notice you on the streets: taking photos, asking for autographs, or just reacting differently depending on how famous you are. At really high Fame, paparazzi could follow you, and fans might gather around. For K-pop idols, this could make your public image a big part of gameplay. If you behave well, your reputation grows, but if you do something bad—like start a fight in public—the news could spread fast across the city, causing scandals, gossip, and real consequences for your career.

This could also tie into creative careers, like fashion stylist or clothing designer. As your ZOI becomes more famous, you could curate outfits or full collections and present them at fashion weeks or special events. Other ZOIs in the city could start wearing your designs, showing your influence on the city’s fashion.

At maximum Fame, your ZOI could become a true cultural icon: statues or monuments could appear in the city, museums could reference your achievements, and some ZOIs might even put photos or posters of you in their homes.

You could also expand Fame to other careers like actor, streamer/influencer, musician, or professional athlete. Fame system could exist for every ZOI from the start. They could raise it on their own, like other skills, by interacting with others or working in entertainment, or just ignore it and live a quiet life. Fame levels could work like this: at low Fame, almost no one knows you; at medium Fame, people start recognizing and interacting with you differently; at high Fame, fans, paparazzi, and gossip shape your world; and at maximum Fame, you become a city-wide or even global icon.

Somebody suggested an option to live at the business lot, it should align with no lot or homeless gameplay due to not having to own a plot and hopefully leads to travel to another cities without having to purchase one.

While curved stairs is not in the plan I hope spiral stairs and escalators can still be done as escalators hopefully can be based off existing stairs and spiral stairs maybe based off ladders for their slot (not expanding by length but by height).

Also I hope we have different length for blinds to cover entire window.

I completely agree that Fame shouldn’t be split into multiple subcategories. In my opinion, that would just overcomplicate the system. It’s better to have a single Fame system that applies to everything. I also think Fame shouldn’t be limited to specific careers—any ZOI could become famous for any reason.

I’d suggest letting ZOIs increase their Fame in various ways, like attending events, participating in city activities, or making a name for themselves through their actions. They wouldn’t become superstars this way—their Fame would stay at a moderate level, where people recognize them but don’t fanatically follow them. Meanwhile, pursuing careers as idols, actors, or other high-profile stars would give a much bigger boost to Fame and success.

Yes literally this... When we ask for parking we don't mean the old system where there was only one location to park in..we mean actual parking wherever. We want to have our car parked personally in our own garages..

Even the kids games I played when I was little had vechicles and allowed you to park anywhere.
I'm not sure if the UE is difficult but I hope they figure out a way to implement it bc that's what's personally breaking immersion for me for a while now... Whatever they did wit the boats in cahaya where it stays parked they'd need to do the same with cars

As much as I enjoy reading your weekly updates, I wanted to share a few thoughts and ideas that have been on my mind. Hopefully they don’t sound too wild, but here we go.Dab

  1. Organic, in-person appointment scheduling
    I’d love to see a more organic way of scheduling plans with other Zois, especially when they’re physically nearby. Instead of relying mainly on phone calls, it would be great if Zois (whether acquaintances or strangers) could directly ask to schedule a meetup at a café, gallery, or restaurant while interacting face-to-face.

Ideally, this could feel dynamic: the NPC Zoi might ask, “Is this day okay?”, the player’s Zoi opens their phone, and a mini scheduling interface pops up where we can accept or refuse. We could double-book, propose for another date, or outright refuse, potentially hurting the other Zoi’s feelings. I’d also love meaningful consequences, for example, noticeable relationship penalties if a Zoi cancels last minute or stands another Zoi up.

  1. A more analog, non-digital life option
    I really like the idea of Zois being able to live fulfilling lives without constantly relying on their phones. For example, instead of default digital scheduling, Zois could buy a weekly planner from a stationery store, or rely purely on memory if they don’t have one.

Along the same lines, it would be interesting if phones were only usable when Zois are actually carrying them (in their hand, pocket, purse, backpack, briefcase, etc.). This could add a layer of realism and intentionality to daily life. In the future, things like dominant handedness could also be a nice touch to deepen immersion.

  1. Homeless shelters and social welfare paths
    If a Zoi goes bankrupt, it would be compelling to have options like staying at homeless shelters until they can get back on their feet.

  2. Retirement homes for senior Zois
    Once a Zoi reaches their senior life stage, I’d love the option for them to move into a retirement home. Even starting as a rabbit hole would be great, but eventually having seniors live out their remaining years in a space tailored to their rhythm of life could be a really touching way to close their life chapter.

It could also create interesting storytelling opportunities for younger family members who still interact with their elderly Zois living there, or who choose not to.

yeah I kind of fell back from posting bc I wish there were two different threads: one for expanding/improving current gameplay features and one for suggesting new features in general. I also wish that the bugs had their own thread as not many ppl are aware of how to post their bug issues or just don’t. I had reported my “set mood” bug in November where at least one of the zois end up w a negative shared memory, sent the video to the team as requested, and even got a reply back that it would be fixed. Love this game sm but I am on a break from it too rn; I just hope that these current bugs + the current features (like buggy cars, toddlers, etc) are fixed before a lot of other things are introduced and end up the same way. I would like to see current features expanded and improved like group meal options for all dishes, removing the shock of married/related zois when in the same bathroom, an auto pop-up for married sims to change names like when having/adopting a baby, an option for rabbit-hole marriages at the courthouse, a toggle for “spam” messaging like pocket mart + explorer tools, adding & editing family bios and even personal ones, shower + tub combos, and cutting NPC usage of work-related items during an active shift (my zoi cannot use the registers half of the time at their job bc someone else using it while they’re alr on it just cancels it out). But I mainly want the current bugs to be fixed as well.

My view is that there’s too much jumping between systems. In most scenarios, fame actually matters in two scenarios – either reaching the maximum, or not at all. That’s why the proposals about reputation (fame, authority) within certain social groups through performing specific actions seemed to me like a bridge, adding useful features, where medium‑level fame just exists in the background, and recognition outside that group remains low. For example, an athlete known among other athletes, even a world champion, isn’t sufficiently known to the wider public, but has his own club, and can lead it, or access VIP areas, if they perform actions specific to that sphere (i.e. shouting into a microphone or stomping in public squares won’t help them). Or an artist who first finds their own circle – they could have a statue installed by the Ministry of Culture and be chased by the media, but still remain unknown to the masses.

So we end up with gameplay scenario, which is usually either unnecessary or just worth trying once, and even then needed by about 20-30% of players. It’s a pragmatic scenario, that’s not bad, but it’s important to have other, more universal systems before.

this isnt like a super major request - i think it would be nice to have but its not necessary and definitely not something to prioritise - but id love to have more 'modular' and customisable building assets (walls, floors, ceilings, eaves, pillars, the like). for instance, heart opia is the first game ive played where you can stack walls on top of each other. and all these walls are considered separate which allows you to colour them individually and so i was able to give some walls their own trim and even a backsplash for my kitchen without having to find a wallpaper that had exactly what i want all in one and i think thats pretty cool. this could allow for some really fun customisation. even if you guys dont implement separate wall stacking and customising, i think just allowing the walls to be painted individually by a grid would give the same effect!!! this also ties into a suggestion i had about wall and door modularity (#1388074399269392506 message)! same with being able to have brackets, friezes, garlands/rinceaux, quoins/sidings, dentils, dormers, corbels, spandrils, finials, cornice, colonettes, and stained glass. and then allowing door and roof modularity in terms of choosing door framing, trim/moulding, knobs/handles (and if they have a key lock or not), door knells/buzzers/or bells, windows, embedded designs. and obviously this modularity would also apply to windows too!!! (sorry for the rambling, im an interior designer so having more home customisation, especially ones that allow for houses beyond the simplistic and modern is very important to me 😛)

I know the game strives for realism. But being that there are fortune tellers, ghosts, a world being ran by cats outside of the inzoi simulation, I do hope more optional supernatural gameplay will be introduced. With occults like witches, vampires, and mermaids (mermaids would fit right into cahaya)!

I can’t remember if it’s on the roadmap or not/if it’s been requested already but I would genuinely like to have a toggle option in the game settings for ghosts as not everyone wants them in their game. I like it for those who do but players like myself who don’t want constant fear moodlets for their zois or even random things like the smoky effects of ghosts taking over cafes and other places, an option to turn them off would be nice 😊

I think it'd be great to have an earbuds system and zois can wear them to listen to music or podcasts while riding a bike, or a scooter, while walking, etc And with the fame system it would be cool if zois get urges to listen to a particular famous person music, or even specific songs. It would be cool if zoi could be actual fans not just from the zoi idol prospective being stopped by fans but from fanzois prospective. They shouldnt be fan of every famous person. It should be like with romance, it grows the more you search about them, get merch, buy albums, collect photocard, listen to them etc. this would be so fun for teen zois gameplay. They could have the urge to put posters in their room, sneak out to go to a concert, argue with fans of other idol, exchange photocards and of course becoming a stalker lol and it would be cool if zois get the urge to leave a mean comments online about a famous zoi they are not fan of, but later they get the urge to secretly listen to their music or research about them and their fanzoi bar increase lol

🛝 I would also like to see these playgrounds become functional. It would be neat to be able to build our own playgrounds, and they were modular, with pieces that snapped together. There was a merry-go-round in an early look at InZoi. I hope it returns, and kids can play on that too.

Look, if players are actively asking for bug fixes and core improvements, then why not give in? I mean people need to discuss it enough during prime time so that AI Summary gets sufficient input to process. On the one hand, they are saying they have to leave the game for a while because of the weak progress in fixing bugs. On the other hand, they’re not just asking for improvements for themselves, but rather for everyone playing. Thirdly, on the forum it seems like 18 upvotes went to the bug‑fix brainstorm topic, whereas usually it’s way fewer. Personally, I think these aren’t the systems urgently needed for average gameplay, they’re nice bonus content, a gimmick, but on top of a polished foundation, not instead.

Suggestion: When Fame Sells and When It Backfires

One additional idea related to fame that might fit well within a single-value system is advertising and endorsements. As a Zoi becomes more famous, they could start receiving ad or sponsorship offers from companies or (playable) businesses.

However, what makes this interesting is that ads wouldn’t always be beneficial by default. Depending on why a Zoi is famous and their public role, taking on certain ads could positively or negatively affect their reputation and even the success of the ad itself. For example, a celebrity chef endorsing cookware might feel natural, while a well-known professor, school teacher, politician, or social service worker doing commercial ads could face public backlash, reduced credibility, or ineffective campaigns despite high fame.

This keeps fame simple, but makes advertising contextual and narrative-driven, with meaningful trade-offs between income, reputation, and public image.

I dont think we’re giving the team enough credit. I’ve been playing almost everyday this month and have seen a number of bugs fixed. For about a week it took about 3-4 attempts to start the game (due to crashing), but I haven’t had this issue for the past few days. My zois would get up and stand in the middle of the dining table to pick up a plate after every meal (it’s fixed now). And toddlers appear to be much less needy than they were at the start of the month. And if the sims has taught me anything it’s that every new addition/change to the game is going to come with bugs so we might as well get a little more comfortable with the, for the time being

Omg yea they need an option to have a lot "furnished" or "unfurnished" but if they want to do it in a better way than the sims 4 they should leave what you would truly find in an unfurnished house in real life like toilets, sinks, showers, windows, walls, lights, counters, cabinets,etc but this is just the way i wouldve preferred they did it in the sims 4 because it gives more of a realistic "new house" look.

I fully agree on the team take on fame. I think one way to avoid a linear and boring “XP-style” fame system is to make it interact with other systems so that it allow unique stories and unexpected events to emerge.

This is exactly why I suggested for example linking the reputation system with the fame system to create potential scandals or situations where players must take action to avoid reputational damage.

I think it is crucial for different systems to interact with one another. Linear gameplay, where players only have to complete really precise tasks to move to the next level (like it’s right now in careers) should be avoided because it reduces replayability. If fame or career progression consists only of repeating specified tasks at each level, players will experience it once and won’t have any reason to do it again, so interacting are essential to create more gameplay variety and increase replay value.

The suggestion that attending major events would increase fame would also help with that. Because events vary in type and context this allow more unique stories and drama going on at those events. So that make fame progression feel more dynamic and narrative-driven.

Another important point is relationships. I consistently advocate for the importance of social relationship in every system of the game because social relationships are really important for humans, and I think this should be reflected in inzoi (notably in the fame and other careers systems). For example becoming close to other famous Zois should increase our potential fame, even more so if we are dating a celebrity, because thats exactly how this work in real life with networking and nepotism. It would also encourage players to build meaningful connections and create storytelling with other famous Zois who kind of represent a social circle in itself

It's not that I disagree, but it's likely that Krafton only gave the Inzoi team extra funding for multiplayer etc. on condition that it was specifically spent on those things. So it's not like they could just be taken off those projects and moved onto general bug-fixing. If they're pouring money and resources into those features, it's because they consider it an investment that will increase sales and player numbers.

I loooove the suggestion of only showing owned clothes, it was one of my favourite features of older sims games… it gives a big incentive to go shopping, otherwise why would you?
Also very happy with the fame system keeping to one system, it sounds very reasonable to me and it could quickly become annoying with many different fame systems

Hello, the Zoi have the tanning option but in fact they don't tan, there's no change in skin color that could go from pale to perfect tan depending on the duration and if they don't put on cream to protect themselves they get sunburned, their skin will be red and painful for a defined time, there could be a cream to relieve which would soothe the Zoi and reduce the painful buff

I get what you’re saying, because Kjun has mentioned about issues with the “work in progress” base game features and the list of new base game features keeps piling up. I agree that people should add clarification for their new suggestion isn’t to throw off the roadmap, that’s why I sometimes add “For the future, I would like-” but maybe it should be put more often.

I don’t think we need to worry too much about categorising suggestions as long-term versus immediate. Even ideas that aren’t meant for right now can still be helpful as food for thought, and the devs can decide what fits the roadmap and when. For now, I’m happy to trust their judgement on what works best for them and for the player base.

I’d like to think so. He’s usually pretty clear in his weekly letters about what fits and what doesn’t, and the dev footage makes it feel like there’s a solid internal process for evaluating feedback. I wonder if we might be worrying more than we need to; as long as a suggestion is something we genuinely feel could add value to the game, I'd like to believe that’d probably be enough.

In InZOI, when using a scooter in high speed, if we hit a car or anything else, we are sent flying/recoiling from impact while the npc car is immune, so I am not sure why the same cannot be done for when we drive a car? If Npc cars is suppose to be immune where they can’t be push back from collision, they can be that, but the player’s car and physics can still be improved, for example, in GTA, walls cannot be broke or moved, they are immune to collision, but if you hit a wall in GTA in high speed, your car can bounce hard from impact and not pause robotically like it is in InZOI. If a player chooses to hit a NPC car in InZOI in high speed, the player’s car should bounce or recoil like the scooter 🛴 meanwhile the npc car can stay immune to recoils. Currently, zoi’s car is paused after any collision or the slightest touches, which isn’t realistic. Every wall I hit in high speed, my car is robotically paused with no realistic physics. Maybe I am the only who thinks this way.

About the fame system, I thought it could be linked with associations and donations. We already have the ability to give money through the mailbox. It would be fun to see how the money is used. And fame has its part in the number of donations and the money the association has access too. And the more an association does good, the more they gain fame and help from the city's hall.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and reflect on everyone’s ideas again. It truly means a lot to see how seriously you consider community feedback.
I especially appreciated how you mentioned the segmented fame discussions, immersive wardrobe ideas, animation variety, and personality-based systems. Even though not everything can be confirmed yet, the fact that you’re actively thinking about these directions is really encouraging.
The part about optimization progress and possibly placing vehicles in the streets was also very exciting — it feels like the world is slowly becoming more alive and connected.
I also hope that systems like immersive wardrobes (real-time outfit changing, owned clothes only, shopping bags) and deeper personality-based animation differences can continue being explored. Those details really add emotional depth and uniqueness to each Zoi.

Thank you again for being transparent with development decisions and explaining the reasoning behind them. It makes the community feel involved, not just informed.

Doing some research, I just realized some game bugs takes longer to fix and for some stubborn bugs, we can’t always reply on a daily schedule for it to be fixed, because some bugs can be extra stubborn. I don’t think the InZOI team is avoiding fixing bugs, I believe some bugs might take longer to fix when new features are implemented, even if the bug isn’t that noticeable. I didn’t like the pink screen when in build mode and I heard they were fixing it, but it seems that bug was very stubborn and hard to detect where the issues may be coming from? So I think we need to be patient, especially with so many base game features coming that’s causing stubborn bugs.

Just a few small suggestions here:

  1. I’d love if more than one zoi can the stove and oven at the same time, at least 2 zois at the same time
  2. I’d love to have functional blankets that we can have draped over the back of the couch or fold even, or on a chair that our zoi can use when going to take a nap. Of course using a blanket can also be a preference of our zoi so that way not every zoi will take a nap with a blanket.
  3. functional recliners would be cool
  4. hanging chairs and rocking chairs
  5. vertical wall gardens
  6. being able to buy functional earbuds or headphones so we can listen to music anywhere
  7. being able to open the windows and leave them open( and getting a mood buff based off temperature), also being able to place an AC in them during summer
  8. bath tub trays,shower caddies, and bed tray table for using laptops
  9. sleepovers for kids and teens, kids and teens being able to ask their parents if they can invite a friend over after school
  10. kids helping to cook with parents
  11. functional body pillows, neck pillows, massage guns ( perfect for athletic zois) and heating pads

I think having a multi purpose convention center/event hall can really improve the game. It can be a large empty building when it's not in use. When used, community events can be held such as concerts, gallas, award ceremonies, weddings, conferences and conventions. With the calendar system certain events can auto populate inside. It could be useful for the Idol career as well with concerts and meet and greets. This would also be cool for clubs to hold conferences. Business could promote themselves at expos by renting booths.

Also, players can rent out the venue for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers etc. When renting out the venue you can decorate it how you want or use floorplans.

I was thinking it wish there was a way to have people you know to babysit, including hire live in nannies or hire babysitters and nannies you can hire to come specific days of the week and times without needing to call for a new one. These new options would be in addition to whats already available now.

You can have a career as a nanny which would require skills vs a babysitter which only needed cpr and age groups allowed to apply.

I'm also surprised to see voice implementation included now in the development plan. I was honestly thinking that would come next yr. But cant wait to hear zois varying voices now while walking around.

  • I would love to see voices shift and not just be static, so youd hear differences based on their moods and the people theyre around.

  • Going beyond pitch and gender with sliders like:
    • Calm ↔ Energetic
    • Soft-spoken ↔ Bold
    • Sarcastic ↔ Sincere
    • Reserved ↔ Expressive
    Two characters could share the same base voice but sound completely different in delivery. It makes voices feel custom.

  • Culture influence voices based on region. Like in the UK you have different accents based on area. And definitely here in the USA you have a variety of voices based on where you are in the states. From New Yorker accents (like Brooklyn vs Bronx vs Queens) , Midwestern, Southern twangs and that gets stronger and richer depending on where you go and they're not all the same Texas southern is different than Appalachian southern and Louisiana southern.

  • it would be so cool if we could apply accents similar to real life from different countries like Italy, Jamaica, UK. Even though they'd be speaking zoilish (i know thats not a official name of the zoi language lol but thats what ive been calling it)

As always, thank you for your post! I love reading your takes on the community’s feedback.

Regarding the Fame system, I agree with your idea of a single/integrated system.

After a lot of thought, my reasoning isn't so much about avoiding "XP-style" progression (I actually love the gameplay drive that RPG systems provide!), but rather about functional necessity.

As far as I understand, with the Records system, inZOI would be able to identify WHY a Zoi is famous. For example, if I write a masterpiece, Inzoi knows I should be nominated for "Best Book" awards and invited to literary events, indirectly inserting me into literary social circles.

This way, Inzoi could categorize my fame through my achievements without needing different standalone "fame meters" (please correct me if I am wrong).

In the future, when the Club system is complete, we could formalize these circles for other effects.

Specifically regarding VIP Rooms: by allowing more than 1 requirement besides fame (e.g., Fame + Career X), we could create the same effect while allowing for more creativity — using the VIP system to create security rooms for different careers, etc.

I loved the improvements from last week! The bicycle animations are incredibly charming, and the Build Mode team is absolutely on fire lately — keep it up! And I can’t wait to hear more about the K-pop and other career developments!

If I could add just one "shallow" request for Build Mode (not urgent at all of course): Could you please add modular/continuous neon lights (seamless, for ceilings, walls, and floors) similar to the VIP Room concept art? I often use video textures to recreate this effect (totally inspired by Hikonoya!), but having dedicated light objects would allow for much better lighting control!

I want to see more fundamentals being worked on like your zoi wanting to swim around by themselves Maybe having a "swim around feature" that goes both for your character and NPCs. Beaches should have NPCs swimming around in them alongside pools

Again asking for functional play grounds. The ability to "teach teen zoi how to drive"

Better eating animations pls! Also can you return bushes to how they were before? I agree with someone else that we liked the movement of the bushes it makes the world feel more alive

Work done on previous updates like business and allowing business owners to be able to make their own custom uniforms. Being able to hire more than one worker from the get go rather than it being only one worker.

Since you've stated you're working on walking animations, a minimap, better eating animations, parking, and varying voice tones when you get the chance..

maybe put that in one of the devs weekly update videos?

These are the fundamentals we'd personally love to see!

Because a lot of ppl have been asking for these things since inzoi first came out. Excited for the future updates ❤️
