Hi everyone, I bought the game a while ago, but intend to play it tonight for the first time. I tried paralives, did not really like the gameplay.

I always have the same issue, like with the sims 4: i spend hours creating the character. And then get bored during actual gameplay. I hate that! I used to play sims for hours and hours.

So, my question haha; anyone loving the gameplay so far and have some tips for me?

I understand that Inzoi is a bit of a sad, boxy game that turns into a dollhouse with very little direction. I will say that if you are creative, you will have tons of fun, at least for the first few months.

Pros

• Beautiful visuals – one of the best-looking life sims right now and Character creator is very detailed (easy to lose hours in it 😅)

• Big potential – systems like school, careers, and social life could be amazing

• Open-world - it feels compared to older life sims and there is just such easy and seemless switch between household characters.

• Driving and walking - so seamlessly done

• Suprise events - sometimes interactions will surprise u

• Devs receptive to feedback and updates Regular updates expected (active development)

Cons

• Gameplay depth is still limited right now
• Characters can feel a bit lifeless (weak personality expression)
• Interactions get repetitive quickly
• AI/social systems aren’t fully polished yet
• Easy to get bored after the “wow” phase
• Some features will feel underdeveloped for now

Hi, I had the same issue as you..spending hours creating a character and also the house,and then getting bored during gameplay in sims 4. But with inzoi, i dont know, I feel like its more alive,maybe because the behaviors are more realistic?
Anyway, one tip is to try to keep your zois busy so yhey actually have a full schedule with lots of activities or jobs too. Making friends is also good because they will call or text you to arrange dinners,parties etc.

Like yesterday, one friend of my zoi called and asked her to hang out at her place. When I went there, she invited two other ladies, which I didn't even know because I thought it would be just us!! Then my zoi acted 'cold' because she is a snob and doesn't like meet new people.
That's my tip to avoid getting bored ..try keep your zois busy, interact with NPCs and create as many zois as u can to make the game more alive..

i'm playing as a runaway teen "rags to riches" challenge. my "home lot" is just an empty lot where mail gets randomly delivered to xD
i installed a homeless shelter building from canvas because it didn't seem like i could find a laundromat ANYwhere
issue is, she's a teen. and teens apparently as i just learnt for some ungodly reason can't do the laundry (even though they can work? xD)

Then you can make new Looks, and bookmark the ones you want your zoi to have (Signature Looks), if you don't click on the outfit you bookmark before saving and exiting, the outfit that was selected will be on your Zoi, so keep that in mind, it confused me a couple of times lol.

they're probably homeless / townies.. only idea i have on how to resolve your issue is to have them move in with you by talking to them. you'll need to get the whole family friendly with your para to the point of them being ok with moving in.. then split the family and put them in the other house

Oof, that's difficult. If there hasn't been an update since, then I doubt it has to do with any update.

It could be that it looks better in build mode because you were building, and when you started playing, it changed resolution to match your gameplay specs.

I know personally that my game has forced me to lower specs because it thought my PC could not handle it.

No you can't. But you can use the style preset to save all the other outfits so you can re-equip them. It's very clunky right now. I keep asking in the brainstorm channel for a way to save all outfits with zoi preset

Did you try changing the light color? I don't know if it will help though. But I always change the yellow light to white since that's my preference so it may help if you change yours

Mods are in the curseforge page in game. Make sure to enable mods in options then in the lobby you will see a mod button. That takes you to the mod manager but there is a link to the curseforge page from there

my zois have work or school listed in the apps for Wenesdays but on the schedule its blank and no way to toggle that day on as if nothing is scheduled. This started yresterday and is an issue in at least 2 of my saves. Toggling Turn on all schedule items off and back on again does nothing. Anyone got a clue how to fix this?

I wish life could be like this ❤️ Since the business update came out, my couple Zois started a single business without using cheat (except using a money cheat in buying the McDonald's preset). And over the time they started buying more business properties. I enjoyed putting time and effort in expanding their business just like how I wanted it to do in real life 😅 Running a restaurant can really make you rich especially when you fill your shelves with salmon steak! Running a club was a bit challenging, I had to include more food shelves just to earn extra money. Now I am giving all of my employees a maximum wage 😍

I have! Newly hired employees were slacking off so you'll have to mentor them in cooking, baking, performance & crafting. I had to sacrifice their wages to the minimum since they were not doing great. It's amazing how the game works well by doing that because a day will come that you no longer have to visit your business property just to check on em

Does anyone know where to install the files .ucas and .utoc ? these two files types accompany the .pak file when downloading mods of nexus, but i can’t get any of my nexus’s mods to show up in game. im dropping the files in the steamapps game directly as followed, i have the latest Modkit enabler downloaded as well.
