Anyone else not have certain parts of the beach labeled on the map? I only have “North Beach” and “Volleyball Beach” labeled on the map view and those are also the only 2 beach spots that show up in my list of places when editing schedules. No “outdoor beach” anymore no “muscle beach” and i could’ve sworn these all used to be spots you could pick directly from the map or to put as a place to go on your schedule

I feel like they saw the extra beach options as “clutter” and just removed it all… but that’s literally the part of the beach with the surfboards and umbrellas so if you just schedule “north beach” so that your Zoi’s can go to the water section of the beach from there, your Zoi’s will just run back to the scheduled area instead of the area close to the water… so in my opinion they should at least expand the perimeter of what is considered “north beach” (which is probably not a good idea bc it’s a big area) OR add these spaces back as options on the map and to schedule… I haven’t see anyone else mention this yet tho soo maybe no one else cares or they havent noticed this specific issue yet…

Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question because I think it’s a problem with the game’s save overall. I decorated a prebuilt house’s living room and revamped some of the house’s rooms a few months back but yesterday when logging a lot of the stuff was gone or replaced by default furniture and some of the rooms I adjusted have also been altered. I reloaded my oldest save and its no different. Is this a bug or something I can fix myself?

It's a bug, sometimes that happened to my zois too. They are unable to use the stairs. The stairs became usable again after I deleted the stairs and placed them again in build mode. It also became usable when I left the game and started it again

My Zois scheduling sends them to all kinds of silly events instead of to the job where they are employed. If you turn off all scheduling they dont even go to work at all! Has anyone found a solution other that physically deleting all events except their job??

I'll make a point of reading known issues, I just think that once a game reaches the point where it is sold, silly issues should already have been identified and fixed, sadly todays programmers just write poor code and leave us to debug it, whereas in my younger days you debugged your code in all possible situations. This technique is new to me. Honestly I dont expect to find so many issues in a new game that is sold for money, maybe thats just wrong to expect that these days? I haave never seen a game with so many issues once it reaches the point of sale. Not your fault, just my opinion, I am tired of todays crappy programmers. I had hoped this game would be different. Fair enough, but honestly it seems this game should still be in beta testing mode. I know with such a complex game there are bound to be issues, but some of what I read should just never be happening, if it was properly debugged by the programmers, and its worse that we cant talk directly with the programming team as with some other games I played. I appreciate all the help you have given me, this game is a new concept to me, I never played SIMS so cannot compare. I try to do everything I can to identify issues in the hope of improving the experience for everyone. Maybe one day i will learn enough to become a moderator...thats my intention. Thanks again for the help you have given me already, I will continue to try and learn all aspects of the games dynamics.

Does anyone know how to make zois not cancel the user directed action? I have a zoi who is predetermined to do what she wants and THEN what ive told her to do. Clicking X didnt free her. Probably all 17 are trying to interact with her abd that's why I cannot control her. Is this the case?

I think they changed it because before the second you set some food down, they would come and swoop it away from you and throw it in the trash... No refunds either. It was extremely infuriating as well. I've seen it in my games and in other creator's let's plays on YouTube as well. I guess they should add a cleanup from NPCs only after a few hours have passed in-game.

new player here, question: internet says I can plays as nonplayer Zois, or move them into my household, either by clicking them and selecting a play as button (which does not appear) or by going into the Edit World section and selecting them from there.

However, all of my Zoi friends and colleagues seem to be "not in the world" (some kind of Sims townie status?) and I can't find any of them in the Edit World section.

The only zois you can click the play button on are zois living in a playable house in the city, or staying at the resort. NPCs can't be controlled, but you can move them in by romancing them. The zois that are outside of the city are generated NPCs and you can't send them gifts and what-not. Does that make sense? There's like, 2 levels of NPCs. NPCs in the list and NPCs not in the list. There are also not-in-the-list NPCs you can create yourself that are tied to lots. So I guess 3 levels lol

I have been away in hospital and rehab for my surgery repairing broken femur in hip. I'm finally back home and wanted to jump into playing inZoi's new DLC. So today and yesterday I have been playing. I have seen videos about the new DLC so had some idea of what to expect. I wanted to go on a vaction trip but just like the video I had no option to just go on a vacation. However, I found nothing that gave me the option to go on vacation so took the plane and finally arrived in Cayaha. First problem was the fact that I could only purchase land to move into. There was no option for me to just rent a place. So my new adventure was begging with the purchase of a new place to live. Once done and I got it all set up I began to explore a bit then home to bed for some rest for my big day. One thing I was ask to do was make a friend. So for two days I have tried talking to people trying to make a friend. Absolutely no one would speak with no matter how friendly I was. I even tried mean responds but it was always the same they put their hands up shaking the head and walking away. After two days of being unable to make even one person talk to me I decided to log over to my other girl in Bliss Bay.. Both are very friendly and have lots of friends and make friends pretty easy. My girl in Bliss Bay was getting the same response from anyone she spoke to or even walked over to just like the one on Cayaha. That told me it was not a Cayaha issue it is a anywhere issue. l don't have a lot of luck trying to report bugs or issues as I can't seem to answer all the questions correctly in order to submit.. Thought if I came to discord it would be easier but that is not the case. I will give it a few days so maybe someone else may be able to report and something will get fixed. Not even the vendors or other employees will talk with me so something is a miss. Thanks

I have a glitch where my Zoi would also just stand there. Don’t speak, don’t walk. No nothing. It gets fixed when I logout and in again. Other glitch I still have are the wishes. Some of them just won’t get done, unless I do them wrong. 🤷‍♀️

The wishes (or urges) are a bug, it's been reported a lot on the forums.
As for getting stuck, you could try the emergency rescue, and if it happens in your home that you don't have anything preventing them from moving around in certain rooms/areas. Sometimes this happens (happened to me tonight in fact in an old house of mine that I had not used in a while).

You can turn up your population to max under you world settings on the map which will help a bit.
In Cahaya a lot of Zois congregate in the more popular areas (parks, beaches, other activity areas), while the areas around are pretty sparse as a lot of them are farm land and stuff. That's what I've noticed anyway

That is essentially how it works atm yes. I believe there are plans in the future to make it so you can just stay in hotels and stuff instead, but this is the implementation atm in early access

did you delete the floor as well when you redid it ? delete walls and floor and redo, if that doesn't work I suggest saving the property preset, then saving game and relog, if still no joy then replace the whole property from your preset and see if that sorts it, hope this helps

Well, deleting the floor did the trick I think, I extended the floor from under the ceiling into the ceilingless room and it spawned ceiling. I am only mildly depresso xD the thin ceilingless strip will be a pain to fix

@young token They do have silver gold and diamond rods. But you have to craft them which requires a high handiness skill.

Some thing to be aware of is that the Zoi will use whatever fishing rod they used last and NOT the 'best' one in your bag.
To sort that out you have to remove all other rods from your bag except for the one you want them to use.

So yea a high handiness skill and high mining skills with a good pick axe is needed.

Also you can add zois to lots by going into lot build mode and clicking the pencil icon on the top toolbar. So you can have up to 8 kid NPCs per lot, you just have to make them all yourself.

It is just like Gallery sims 4, or the exchange from sims 3 if you have ever played any of those game. Simply a user uploaded a custom texture and you can use it to accessorize your zoi. Its in game, it can be removed and its not a mod, just CC. That specific zoi is using custom accesory 😊

1. you can travel to either Dowon or Bliss Bay to open an account but not ideal obviously and not sure if it will work when you’re back 2) find banknotes around the city in Cahaya (sometimes people drop it), 3) try to edit public notes and see if there are any bank related items like the deposit device and if it can work

It allows you to open the treasure chests you can find around the resort island. Most of them have mini-gold bars in them, and when you have 10, you can exchange them for coins at the spa kiosk (there are also some special chests with other items). However I think the treasure hunt is only active on Wednesdays.

currently you can add a zoi to a location by; playing them and getting them to go there, adding a deco mannequin in build studio of the location you want and using the preset, how about making your build edits at an existing employment location like the surf shop in Bliss Bay, then Zoi's will turn up for work or you can play a zoi that does, is this what you mean ?

It was done so they did not have to commiit computer resources simming the city or cities you are not in.
The game keeps track of each and every Zoi and simulates them in the background wethere you see it or not.
Can you imagine trying to process simulations for all the zois in all the citys?
Shoot most stuggle with just one city.

You can't. That's why it is called an NPC.
You need to build a relationship with the NPC, marry and include them in your family, then you can select and play that Zoi. That is the regular game play. (the game play is an incentive and a challenge to pursue the npc you really want to play)

Why does my zoi receive this text message every time his wife gets off work? They have a perfect relationship (it can't get any better!), her mood has been positive almost 90% of the time, and finances are good.

I don't play with any mods. She doesn't have any real appointments, it's just a text message automatically sent every time she gets out of work, even if he's at home waiting for her. The relationship settings for the city are all set to medium. Civic Consciousness for success rate of karma interactions is set to High, and Conversation Karma Positivity is set to Moderately High, while the Negativity is set to Moderately Low.

I know the text messages zois autonomously send are random, but this one happens every single time she gets out of work.

And you'll get that much money

Have you double-checked their gender identities and attraction? If you don't check when you make your character, it can be set in a way you didn't intend.
Use the cheat "showZoiInfo true" to see the ID number for each zoi. They type "customZoi [zoi's ID]" Don't use any square brackets, just put the number. I didn't know a better way to write that out.
Now with the zoi back in CAZ, you can check their gender identity, attraction, and seeking romance are all set as you want them.

I recently made a husband and wife married in CAZ and they were able to do romantic actions from the start (though I had to take it slow to not get rejected, but it was possible to get rejected from the first moment of the game).
So if they're still messed up, then you might want to create a new game and try again, but I hope that won't be necessary.

You can 'freeze' it but not reverse or advance it.

I set up a sales booth at the market, if the products aren't too cheap, people actually buy them. But if you set the prices too low, no one really comes or buys anything.

This happens when they had a fight / infidelity ("Where are you! Tell me! NOW!!" message) that sets both friendship and family bars to -100 each. They get scheduled to a counceling session and if it succeeds you receive this message... Replying positively will mend the relationship and you do not have to grind it back for 3-4 days (to have it destroyed again the next time one of the 2 zois cheat again, as they always do).

You got lucky. Most of the times I don't get that and the relationships stay in the gutter forever.

But my zois haven't had any fights. I've always had at least one of them active at all times. They were created as married in CAZ, but they built their marriage strong in the first few days. But like I said, I get this message every time she gets off from work. They have never had anything scheduled after he replies positively. There was no fight, no negative impact on their relationship, and no other angry messages or anything. They've had a wonderful marriage, so the constant message is so weird to me.

It must be a bug. Their relationship is so good the whole time these messages have appeared. There was never an appointment scheduled. I honestly thought it was because she hadn't had a baby yet. She's worked 6 work days and this message came up at the end of each one. The husband replies positively, and there's a +10 family relationship, but they're already at Loving. No appointments scheduled. I'd have him go with her if it was a real thing. 🤣

Yes and no. If you make 4 different families in CAZ, you can move them all into the same house in the edit city add families screen. But, when you go to play the house, everyone will be on one UI panel with a max of 8 people. So each family could only have 2 people. There is no way to have each floor separated into it's own property, no.

Newborn(0-3) - Toddler(4-9) - Child(10-19) - Adolescent(20-24) - Teenager(25-39) - Young Adult(40-69) - Adult(70-79) - Middle-Aged(80-89) - Senior (90+) with VERY high chance of dying each day.

Newborn(0-1) - Toddler(2-3) - Child(4-11) - Adolescent(12-16) - Teenager(17-19) - Young Adult(20-31) - Adult(32-51) - Middle-Aged(52-66) - Senior (67+) with higher and higher chance to die each day, the older they get

Or very very close to those numbers.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to edit those pre-made families, so their age will be messed-up.

Also the mod will change any existing save-games (though you can easily flip the switch on the mod to deactivate it at any time), and you will need to move your Zoi presets between age-groups (like an adult preset, just flip back'n'forth to young adult and back, or age a teen to adult and back to reset their age properly).

That's why I want them to give us control of the age groups in the in-game menu (A "timekeeping option" as I called it on the forums).

But the mod is definitely better than nothing !

In All Families, you should pick a family that already resides in the city (check occupied residences in the map for family names). Add your B zoi to such a family.

youll go there and buy a place (alot of people buy the 4k land, then they pay to stay at the resort) then spend whatever time you want the holiday to be then you can go back. if you have ageing on i would turn it off because while on holiday your Zoi's will age but because the other world isnt loading in those Zoi's wont age. I haven't figured out another way to get the old look off for furniture you can't refurbish other than just replacing it yet, unfortunately.
