With the seniors when we put the cursor on the age progress bar it tells us "Days since birth" (89 for freshly created seniors, apparently) but to see the cumulative say... of a young adult ?

You should try placing the house in the biggest lot(it's in Bliss Bay. Dowon mostly has smaller lots).

And if that still doesn't work, than you'll just have to wait for bigger lots to arrive in the game(which means the creator probably made the house in the build studio, which has almost infinite space)

Newborn doesn't take much space but a child will need a bed. There's the get your karma up to best, intervene from the Karma Report screen, choose win the lottery in the text message you receive and play the lottery method.

There's also the option to play another family (switch back and forth), have one of them get super high karma and win the lottery and then get a bunch of cash from the ATM and gift it to your main Zoi.

One trick I use is to send one Zoi family to sleep and then play another family. (Although they tend to have kids on their own too...)

Idk if anyone else has this problem? Every time one of my zois use the toilet if there's a zoi directly underneath or above them on the lower or upper floor, or close to the bathroom on the same floor, they react by getting started and all actions get canceled and they start walking away. As if they're in the bathroom with the other zoi, reacting to it using the toilet in front of them, even tho they're on another floor. Married couples also react like this if they're in the same bathroom and one uses the toilet, but that's more understandable lol .

What do you do with all the fish that accumulates in the bag? Can't use it to make food. The only option is to place it down somewhere.

That used to happen all the time for me, but I hadn't noticed it recently, so I thought that it had been fixed in one of the recent updates.

Yes you can cook 'some' fish, you make fish fillets, then sushi.
Fish can also be sold. You have to buy a stall at a flea market and place it, then place the fish from your bag and place it on the cart, then select the fish and set it for sale. One at a time.
Its a pita but there you have it.

Speaking of the flea market, where is it? I see Zois getting wants/desires related to it all the time, but I don't see it anywhere on the city-level view for Bliss Bay.

I think there's one unmanned flea market stand in the vicinity of the fountain in Bliss Bay but I switched to Dowan before the most recent major update so I don't remember more.

It makes the game a lot more boring/annoying that it would otherwise be.

If you find it annoying too, please report it as a gameplay issue on their website, the more ppl that does, the more chance we have for a quick(haha) hotfix. I have many games on hold until they fix that tbh.

Already submitted feedback 4-5 times about that. Every chance I get.
The game does not check the Z-Axis, neither does it checks for walls.
So anyone in the bathroom either washing or doing #2, will startle anyone thru walls/floors.

The Z-Axis thing is also the cause of Zois going downstairs to the toilet when the 2nd floor one is closer, or same for food/dropping trash in a can. Annoying, but the more you know, the more you can design your homes to minimize that.

It's a frequent occurance. In my last game I had 4-5 zois stuck in the third trimester and clicking the "!" to give birth didn't work.

SO I ended up cheating the "cancelPregnancy" cheat, then I went at a computer and created a baby with medical procedure with the gene of both parents to bypass that bug.

But there's a lot of complaints about that bug.

Yeah, I've had it before with a knife block. This problem is new for me; since the 0.2.4 hotfix. I had the ingredients disappear right after a zoi was done chopping up the ingredients for tte... whatever the spicy stuff is, and also I've had pancakes and English Breakfast disappear when the zois place them on the stove-top.

I did submit a ticket. I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this.

If you can get into the building look for the little calculator thingys on the desks. You can click them and open a new account. Then you can deposit.

If you deposit money in 3 days it will accrue some interest.

Maybe its just quirky. I have the slider set for max population and a pretty powerfull computer. Dont know if that makes a difference.
BTW like I said most of the zois I saw in the bank just stood in place the whole time.

When the action to change triggers, it checks the closest drawer to you and not to your assigned bed.
Also some dressers have more weight (importance) to the code and they will priorize those (the tall ones have more weight). They need to change it so it's the one closest to your bed, no matter what type.

and weighting the sink in this bathroom over the one in the next bath room over. funny to watch zois use the upstairs bathrooms in that broken house I put on canvas, they use one toilet then go to another bathroom to wash their hands

half thought maybe possibly. top hud bar, left side, make that full solid lines for the cube thing to see all walls, dotted line is only see far side wall of house. and yes, the june update did make more stuff go poof when not in the see everything mode, super annoying for shelves that are interactable. also that black wall is a bit odd, if that's a mirror may be a reflection setting somewhere or GPU is at it's limits for what it can render.

the cube thing may look like this when set to show ALL items. mode in build mode is not game wide, takes a bit to get used to for sure.

@median osprey regarding ideas that you do not want your families aging as you're cycling thru other ones.
I have a solution for you, which is pretty easy to implement.

• Pause the game
• Activate cheats
• Cycle to your first family, and take control of each of its members. For each one run the command "stopAging true"

Basically doing that will freeze any Zoi to their current age and they will never age a day, even if all Zois in the world age normally. You can reverse the command with "stopAging false" but you have to do it on a Zoi to Zoi basis, is: for each and every one.

If you go to 'Simulation' in the Options menu, and disable aging on 'non-player families', from what I can tell, this seems to stop aging not just on NPCs/townies, but also on any family that you are not actively playing. However, while they won't age, time will still pass for them, which means that they will keep to any schedule set for them (if autonomy is turned on), and their needs will decay normally.

Yeah, I've had issues with platforms for a while. I haven't been able to get a house with a platform entrance to work, other than if the platform is at the lowest possible height. For example, this height is fine, but pretty much anything higher just isn't going to be enterable.

Yeah, I had been working on a mansion design that entered from a raised platform, and then inside there was a sunken area in the main living room, but unfortunately I just couldn't find a way to make it so that my Zois could actually enter the building.
I think one of the future updates is supposed to be focussed on build mode, so I just decided to wait and see if it gets resolved then.

A new issue since 0.20.
I think when you get to the studio to create your character it gives you a random zoi right ?
If it is female you'll identifiy as one and be attracted to males
If it is male, you'll identify as one and be attracted to female

So no matter what, always doublecheck that square box about gender identity.
Had to fix 4 out of my 8 zoi in a newly created family because of that.
At least you can go back to it later using the "style yourself" option so no biggies.

I sent her back home and then switched to her son who was at the beach. When I switched back to her, it had the exclamation to take a pregnancy test. Yes, from the options menu

Last option at the bottom, set it to off. No more schedule for anyone.

If you want it only for one (or a couple Zoi) and not the entire map, on a zoi-per-zoi basis, you go in their schedule and flip the switch on the right "Turn On All Schedule Item"

Yes, the tables are weighted so heavily that Zois will run 2 rooms over or the floor above instead of the counter just accross the fridge

It should be weighted slightly less. That way if there's no seats for a table CLOSEBY they should pick the counter before going into the other rooms.

From the map screen click manage families, then all families, then move zois between families
Click the 2 families (so yours and another one), and transfer the ppl from there. Any zois added to a new family will be roommate with the existing NPCs in there.

OR

Click an empty lot then click the blue "select family" (in case your family is already complete and you dont want to split it's members). As long as your family has enough meow, you should be able to move on the lot you want (at worst pick a cheap one and move to a better one later.

Hello! Can someone tell me why NPC Zoi run away during a conversation, or maybe during a date? This is really annoying, when I initiate a conversation, they often run away and I have to chase them down.

I go to a girl with my zoi, I say hello, she says hello back, then she runs away and comes back somewhere else, but she doesn't come there. I just stare at the new gate with my zoi like a cow, wondering what it was. It's a common occurrence in the game, NPC zois run away while talking.

Ok, so if you take just a logo right you get this. This is because there is nothing around the logo to take up the space of the rest of the tshirt.
So if increase the size of your canvas and make that the color you want the tshirt to be, you'll be able to have a tshirt without a repeating pattern.
Imagine it as having a white tshirt that you want to add a logo to and make black as well. However, you have to do both those things at once. So if you take a sticker of just the logo, you have to cover the entire tshirt in the logo sticker in order to cover the entire tshirt. But if you have a sticker of the logo and huge area of black around it, the black will cover the rest of the tshirt instead of the logo having to do that job.

Now figuring out where you need to place the logo on your canvas can be an issue which is where the template in the reddit guide comes in. It's basically 100 squares. So if you put that texture on a tshirt and play around with the scale a bit, the tshirt will basically be cut into 100 squares. That way you can see in which square you want your logo to be. So lets say you want it to be on the right chest, in the template that might be square 44 for example. Then you can put your logo on that place in the template and make the background the color you want your tshirt to be

I can’t seem to place any building elements (walls, half walls, handrails, etc) on the second floor of my house - I believe it may have been caused by me deleting a bit of flooring to create a small balcony near my interior stairs, but now I’m not sure how to fix this?

alright. i do have ryzen 9 7900X paired with my 7900xtx & it runs at a respectable frame rate. i have noticed when enabling Smart Zoi that it does tank my frames from around 100 to 40fps when enabling it. i dont know if its a bug, or not.

It’s a common thing with the smart zoi right now tanking fps as it takes a lot of processing power. I would recommend you put your feed back about it in the smart zoi #1349133210100961300 thread. You can also make a ticket on the support site and they may be able to help you further

I'm deleting TVs in all my Zois houses. They break then risk fire too often. Even twice within an hour real time. Hopefully next update TVs will behave a bit more realistically.

Arrah! Would you believe it! Just unpaused and a whole bedroom and hallway is burnt by fire! Fire brigade is there but I'll have go go back to previous save as I don't want to redecorate again when I've used textures from my InZoi photos 😭

If I delete the folders of the affected mods under “C:\Users\yourname\Documents\inZOI\Mods\88849” and then update the mod, it installs the new file and it works. However, this cannot be a permanent solution

Yeah, same here. My Zoi never get gifts anymore. Kinda sad lol Maybe it's because most Zoi you meet now are NPCs without homes so they don't send gifts? Or they tuned it to happen less frequently or not at all.

I think that you can’t edit profile after completing a character, but I could be wrong.

What I always do is save the Zoi (outfits I’ve made, face, whole Zoi) as presets then load them back up that way when I want to continue working on them

-Can’t place a property build on a lot without crashing.

I figured it out, nothing was blocking the stairs, instead of raising the platform, I just lowered the rest of the floor instead and it worked, and the stairs didn't auto delete this time 🥲 🥰 Finally, it was so simple LOL so glad I figured it out ❤️

When I hover the mouse over them, the white outline appears for just a split second and disappears.
It works fine on other objects like furniture, but not on Zois.

Actually, you can change the age of a zoi using CustomZoi with a little loophole I discovered:
If you go into CAZ using the cheat on an existing zoi, and apply a preset that is a different age group, the zoi changes to that age group.
So, what you could do is go in CAZ using CustomZoi on the zoi who's age you want to change. Save them as a preset as they currently are. Exit back to the lobby, and go into Character Studio. In Character Studio, find that preset you just created, and select the different age you want the zoi to be. Save that new age as a preset. Now you can go back into your game, edit the zoi with the CustomZoi cheat, and select the aged-up preset. Voila! Your zoi is now the age you want!
I've been using that little trick as a fountain of youth as I edit townies, but it should work just as well for aging-up a zoi.
Don't know if it will work for toddlers or newborns, as they aren't usually available in CAZ.

There are certain conversational actions and text message interactions that will create events for zois.

Some family member are not scripted to get jobs. So if the provider(s) in the family dies, the meows run dry.
They fixed it somewhat in 0.20, as I see a lot more Zois getting jobs on their own, but sometimes a family falls onto hard times (without player interaction to keep them going).

Yeah, the npcs were homeless. I got a prompt that said I could move them when they become a child, but they’re still newborns. I guess they’re probably bugged. Npcs that are in homes are actually aging but I guess the homeless ones aren’t. I’ll keep checking on them, maybe they’ll just become a child one day.

Um, are things flagged as "sexual content" deleted off our personal game too? I had a Sailor Moon shirt, that is published in an all ages manga, that I guess technically has a hand on a breast. It was deleted off the Canvas which, fine whatever, but it's also no longer in my game? Seems a little extreme to delete it off my game...

(edit: as far as my own personal game all of my items disappeared and it was a glitch and it's at least back on my own)

That was my concern. It makes me nervous to put time and effort into anything with no clear guidelines since I enjoy sharing on canvas for others to use. If there's clear guidelines (i.e. "must meet PG-13 movie standards", or has guidelines on what can and cannot be in any illustration) it wouldn't be as frustrating but I actually checked all of the info available I could. Canvas TOS, Inzoi TOS and guidelines. No actual real guideline on what even counts against the TOS, all very, very vague.

But if they stay in crib for more than 2 days straight then yeah, not normal.

We need more lots opened in general. At least double. I hope they pre-fil them with house/apartments of different values for gameplay purpose and those that don't like making their own houses, but also allow us to whipe them clean (basically like we can do now).

Doubling the lots would help, and shouldn't lag too much imho as long as you don't have consecutive usable lots next to each other.

There's the 'CustomZoi <ZoiID>' cheat that let's you go into CAZ for any zoi that you know the ID of.
You have to use the 'showZoiInfo true' cheat, and the EntityID (ZoiID) and location of any zois in your field of view will show above their head.
So, to initially find out their ZoiID, they do have to be walking around your town, but once you know that zoi's ID, you can apply any cheat, including entering CAZ, without them being active in your field of view.

Nexus is the main place I get mods other than the in-game app. If you do get them off Nexus, make sure you read the instructions for each on how to install them properly. Some still use the old modding system before the official in-game modding was launched, and others are designed to work with the new system.

Jinnie is correct, you have 2 options. One is adoption, the other is creating a baby with medical procedure, which takes genes from both you and your partner. In both cases tho, there is no pregnancy, And yes, both can be done from the computer, it's one of the last options if I remember right.

After 15min I finally found the lone flea market stand in Bliss Bay (very well hidden)...
But it is unmanned so I still cannot complete the Urge... urrrgh.
