Is it just me or since the most recent update its near impossible to communitcate with other Zois? like I can interact with strangers on the street but once they come inside my house i have to zoom all the way into there legs to select them. Also targeting a Zoi the target always lands like way behind them and the menu will pop up (usually the floor so walk here etc shows up) before this update (and i mean this issue has gotten worse but has 'always' been there) i would have to basically go top down to precisely select something.

also there is no need to lash out to people try to be kind it’s probably just a bug so you should report #report-a-bug I don’t think anyone else has dealt with this issue everyone’s character should leave to work on there own even npcs might just take a minute and they should also come home by themselves might just take a minute you can try uninstalling and reinstalling you can make sure autonomy is turned on make sure it’s blue or you can try emergency rescue if none of those work then just report a bug or start a new game

Oh my, For reason I need to leave the house because he won't leave the house on his. own. His work hours are from 9am to 3pm. You are able to set every outfit for every category within the outfit menu ( for instance you’d make your everyday outside and then you’d move to the next category from there you would select the outfit you want for that category and then you would move to the next category and just repeat until your finished ) I also know that some jobs glitch and have you wearing work clothes even when not at work it’s usually one of the business jobs

Note that you can't move the Zoi you're currently playing.

There's a button "Edit Family Tree" that is currently disabled. I guess at some point in the future it will be possible to reestablish family relationships after moving Zois around, or maybe they won't get lost in the first place.

Ceiling lights can only go on a ceiling so if your ceiling is full height in that room that is where your lights will be. I added extra wall lights to make up for the darkness on the lower level

there are a few Asian like outfits I would love to have in the game, that stuff is just not my department and beyond my skill.

1. get a 3D edetor and make the 3D mesh.
2. UV map that OBJ so you can put texture maps on it.
   2.1. maybe rig the item with bones so it can move for things like doors shades landing gear etc (and I only have a vague clue how to do that in DAZ studio from watching others do that).
3. hack the game so you can have the item in the game in a way characters can interact with it.
   Beyond that, I don't know how to do the last step. I send the stuff I make off to 3delight/RenderMan for CGI stuff.

Hey I’m just copying and pasting something I shared a while back that might help you. I couldn’t put lights on a ceiling too on one of my floors and it was frustrating.

I figured it out in case anyone runs into this issue. In build mode, click on the Room Selection Tool / Create a Surface (R). Even though you see the ceiling I guess the game doesn't register as one so when you click on a room and the corners are yellow, click on the yellow corners and create a surface.

2. Edit City > Click on your property and click + Family Member (screenshot added)
3. Your car is parked outside of your property. If you want to go somewhere you can go to the map and select "drive here" or if you have manual driving on you can drive there.
4. As of right now, your Zois have to be married and you have to "try for baby". You can do this by selecting on your Zoi's spouse and select More > Affection > "Suggest Having a Baby"
5. You download from Canvas and then access it in build mode.

I tried but it ended up only uploading the formal clothing and basic zoi face, but bodytype was wrong and other clothing options got erased. I saved them as presets to make clothing easier to pick in the future, but I would really like to save the whole thing, if it is possible.

I wish. The only workaround (other than micromanaging) is to throw a party but I don't know if you can pick another location than the house. I learned during my time working on Skyrim Mods that programs that write files to the directory they're in will trip over Administrator Rights if the program is installed in any windows protected directory - Windows, Program Files, Program Files (x86), My Documents, etc.

And when you install Steam using the defaults (where it puts your entire Steam installation in C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam - EVENTUALLY you will find a game or mod that explodes because Steam is in a Protected Directory.

How easy that is to fix depends on how much you have installed in Steam. If it's just one or two things (even if they're HUGE like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - which can be 100GB) then it's usually easiest to just uninstall Steam entirely, Clean up any remnants in C:/Program Files/Steam, restart, and reinstall to C:/Steam, then redownload whatever the 2-4 things you had were.

If you have dozens of things installed, or if you have extra Steam Libraries on other disks, it's...not as simple as that. There are guides that can be found (or you can save trying to fight google's ad-centric BS and just use ChatGPT or Claude or Perplexity.ai as your Shiny New Best Search Engine Friend...)

There are games that need write access to their own install folder for storing settings, saved games etc., but usually Steam installs them so that they have that access, even if the install folder is below C:\Program Files (x86). I've never had a game ask for admin rights, and if that happened, the last thing I'd do is just give it those rights. Because admin rights mean they can write to anywhere.

ok, after a quick google search, looks like maybe there is a mod for the other life-game franchise, so maybe that may do what your looking for better than inZOI. "Play as a crystal gem the $!m$ 4" and many other vids are in the search results. I hope that helpes.
maybe after final release, a mod may happen for inZOI, yet that isn't a thing right now. ye can do k-pop like stuff, and limited other things at the moment.

this is supposed to be so the animations are lined up. If your character is taller or shorter, you run into problems with animations lining up etc

Here is a question. Say you have a married couple and youare controlling one of them and the other is doing whatever. Sometimes the character you not controlling goes up and goes to different events without the other. Do I need to worry about that Zoi flirting or hooking up with another Zoi or if they are married they don't pick those options when engaging with others?

I made a father to the wife character that I made and I was at the beach and saw her there and she was talking to other guys. But I think she got scared because I was there and she left lol.

This is a bug that occurs when other Zois cannot be clicked and interacted with your player Zoi.

The solution for this is to disable Occulusion Method in the Options menu. Go to the Options menu and click the Graphics tab. Find Occulusion Method and set it to Off.

What I usually do is I take photos of the zois and edit any portraits in the build mode and load texture from the Photo Gallery. You can position and change pattern scale in the properties
