the city karma is kind of the 4th wall break imo, as the premise is you work at AR and this is your job. Thats why sometimes psycat mentions a ceo getting involved if things get bad enough. City Karma overall is how the Zois in the city treat each other, you also get sort of like a buff for complimenting the best karma Zois and if you scold the bad Zois it can set them on a better karma path.

Yeah, it either sets their karma level to neutral (0) [scold] or keeps it at high. Your Zoi also shows up in the table, and if they have terrible karma it lets you reset it to 0 or vice versa, keep it at high.

Zois must arrive after 10 AM to ride the rollercoaster in InZOI. If they arrive before 10 AM, they won’t find anyone operating the rides. Instead, the park opens around 9 AM, and the first workers to open their stations are the food vendors.

Re: housework. Zoi lives alone and has 4-5 mops in his house. Fridge is CRUSTY. Have used mops multiple times and fridge is still crusty, but this fool goes outside and mops his grass. We're talking 3-4 mop activations @ 3 cleaning actions each, so 9-12 chances, and this fool is outside mopping his lawn. Do I need to provide him with something else? He's got no carpet, but do I need to get him a vaccuum cleaner?

You can’t copy textures from different items to other items right now I don’t think. Even with the eyedropper tool.

For say some kitchen islands and kitchen cabinets I sortve just had to do them all by hand and colour/texture match them with the colour hex codes.

there is no guide, per se, as your zoi's education is predefined based on a few factors. young adults won't actually have more than a high school education. One of my adult zoi's has a university degree. I think that means that there is no specific type of education you have to have for a college degree.

i did take a look at the education option on the smartphone. for a college degree you can go to the school option. You can pick business admin, computer science or multimedia arts major.

I figured it out in case anyone runs into this issue. In build mode, click on the Room Selection Tool / Create a Surface (R). Even though you see the ceiling I guess the game doesn't register as one so when you click on a room and the corners are yellow, click on the yellow corners and create a surface.

Probably won't be fixed until another update. Doubt they just hotfix it real quick. The bug isn't that you can't ask same-sex zois out. you can ask them on a date but they will always reject as all the game-generated zois are set to opposite sex preferences

Don't date employed Zois. I tried dating one that worked at the amusement park. Turned out she didn't even live in the same city so nomatter what time of day and night I used "Call over" she was unavailable.

Is there a way to group a room / building so I can move the entire thing at once, e.g. the black glassed in area I made, or do I have to rebuild it entirely in the spot I want it moved to ?

update on this after experimenting. i tried deleting and moving the exterior doors thinking that might have something to with it but that didn't work. However i walled off the front door with a tiny lobby like area with another door on the other side to enter the house. now my zois can go anywhere in the house without getting cold in winter

Yeah, if you marry them you can move them into your house. So that basically transfers them from the other region into your city.

When building on empty land you can place prebuilt houses, then just modify those rather than build everything from bottom up. There is also a category with prebuilt rooms you can place if you don’t want to add a whole prebuilt house, but want to add some individual premade rooms.

Hey 🙂 I have a problem with the option to save edited furniture in the preferences. When I click on an object and then also this button to save the preset, then so far only a gray pop-up window always appeared, from which I could only get out with Esc and nothing else could click. Just now, when creating a screenshot for this comment here, the window suddenly became “normal”, but writing something in the boxes, such as a description or a title, apparently didn't work at all. At some point, letters that I had previously typed for testing purposes appeared. I also can't rotate the object in the picture or anything similar. Is this a general problem that others also have? I'm not sure if there's a way to prevent automatic changing yet. I know it's been a big thing with sleepwear. The games seems to decide that once you cross a pre-determined line, then "x" wear is no longer appropriate for the occassion. And sleepwear is apparently not appropriate for anything other than the bedroom.
