So I was able to create an Emote on launch day with no issues. Ever since, I am not able to do it at all. The game will freeze/crash, or give the error "Motion generation failed. Please follow the guidelines..." but I am using the correct file format and guidelines as I did when I first created one, even using the same clips as others have used. The game is up to date, GPU is RTX4070/CPU 9600x. Tried current Nvidia driver, rolled back to previous driver and neither make a difference.

You'll see their "inner thoughts" which often make no sense. And if you give them instructions via the text prompt, they'll ignore them. It's not worth turning on.

There's so many amazing property builds on canvas that i know I could never even do half as decent as those. After playing with one of them for a long while, I'm realizing that I prefer a more simply floor plan though so better pathfinding and so zois aren't walking up/down multiple floors for things though.

Once mod tools comes out, I feel the game will explode. We're already over 1 million copies, once modders start putting in more stuff, i'm betting we'll hit 3 or 5 million by winter/end of year.

Like I’ve said many times smartzoi is a personality system and will not work the way you’re trying to use it and it is still “experimental” which it does say in game. I’m sure the developers haven’t been spending too much time on it since there are bugs and fixes that need to be worked on with higher priority

Smart Zoi at this point creates an illusion of smartness by adding fancy "inner thoughts" to actions that the Zoi would have performed anyway. Maybe one day it'll do more, but as it is now, the AMD folks aren't missing much.

When you start a new game it will ask you to create a zoi again. But you don't have to. There are preset zois there, your new zoi that you made will also be there. Usually the first one in front of the list. Just select it and continue... thats what I did.

Okay depends on how much funds you have usually you just open the map and select the area you want to move to and there should be an option that says relocate here just press that and then you’ll move !

If you want to turn the staircase into an "L" shape or a "U" shape you have to use the "move, rotate, scale" option after you place it down
then use the arrow thats pointing left to right to make it into the staircase shape you want.
right now its the only way I found to make it work.
