I do think like current strong points:
Games really good at giving players different incentives be it wants, quests, life goals, etc
World is beautiful
The animations of paras are really nice though can be very janky with different heights and sometimes has loop issues. But overall they're really nice and lively

My personal current issues:
Games really slow to play in 1x speed and watching characters converse for 30 seconds to get an option for what they're talking about is backwards (at least they could give a chance card at the start of the conversation to set tone)
Relationships are really easy to grow no matter what mood your para is in. I know this can be weighted different with different story para options but their balanced one is, well, not very balanced
Relationships being seperate and not evolving from each other where it makes sense
NPC autonomy doesn't really seem to be there at all
Some of the showcased animations don't play when doing the correct interactions. If this is a bug it's one that hasn't been fixed since December
The amount of flirt wants my guy gets when sad is like almost a given now sad = wants to flirt
Some chance cards keep turning up over and over and over

I’m at the 2-hour mark and honestly still don’t know what to make of it. I know I’d enjoy the build mode, but I already have inZOI for building lol. The town is basically old-town Quebec 2.0, which is super soothing, but also kinda feels like that’s the main scope so far. Curved walls also feel a bit clunky/lacking precision (like a lot of eye-balling). I don’t mind the more prescriptive narrative choices either, since I do occasionally play VNs and stat-raising sims anyway, but I don't know how I feel about the price, even with the EA discount.

Paralives' gameplay is literally a stripped down version of Sims 4 quests.It seems they found it too overwhelming to copy fully, so they only took about 1/20th of it and are constantly reusing the same elements. If someone thinks the quest system in Paralives is superb, they'd be better off doing the login events in The Sims 4, as they offer much more content.
