Stardew valley did it due to the mines and rng drops and difgiculty making money. Inzoi does it due to the sheer amount of content. But paralives doesnt have either

I have a theory based on all I have learned so far.

• It took 7 years to develop the game, so updates will likely be slow or small over time.
• Life sims are not easy to make; you have to constantly add things. This is where modders come in, and perhaps why they don't mind removing Patreon and the no-pay model. The responsibility to develop the game is likely to move on to modders.

I waited 6 years, so I get it. When you lose your community and hype a game for something new, especially when you're really exhausted from The Sims... you just have this connection to it after every update, showcase, etc. Plus, it's the underdog, a small studio going against massive EA... you feel connected to the devs, the art, etc.

That's why people are invested, and you can see it from the comments

For example, a loner trait will stay alone, and a social trait will interact. However, they do one thing for a really long time or nothing at all...so I am wondering what people mean by the personality is deep
