When it comes to Paralives, I do think there's a lot of neat ideas there but I have no idea what long term gameplay will be like with them
Like I still don't like chance cards because they feel really limiting and
also not fan of random unknown conversing for a few in game minutes to decide what they're talking about

I actually did this for a very short time with InZoi, I stopped playing it and then the Cahaya update dropped. That's the good thing about early access, things change so you can let games cook and then revisit

The trailer is similar too, Character creator > Build mode > talking to other NPCs > Chaotic situations and Activities you can do around the world. It's inZOI when it launched. But Paralives does seem to have more advanced Character creation and Build mode.

We'll see if the game can stay fun for a long time or if it gets boring fast. inZOI had that problem before.

Yep, I remember inZOI showing off fires, slapping other zois' faces and throwing water at them in the trailer. and also build mode and CAZ. Paralives is doing the same by showing off this messy para that breaks toilets and creating a mess lol. And the yoga too, inZOI showed off stuff like that in the 2024 trailer. So we'll see if Paralives gets the same reviews inZOI did, because it feels very much the same.

Yeah I think long term Storyteller and chance cards will be annoying to me One of my biggest gripes with Sims 4 is how many popups you get and have to deal with

Inzoi though used to have the dots only so they weren't so good at communicating that either when it first came out

There's a lot of REALLY good ideas and concepts there and some of the choices are really cute and nice
But them putting off livemode for years and not doing the autonomy or AI work until late into development is really going to impact them
And that the game is fundamentally a life management game rather than a simulation game
