I've never made chocolate candy but I have made cocoa powder back home in DR. My grandmother grew cacao beans and I knew how to dry them and crush them into cocoa pwder. Very very bitter, it was meant more for medicine and cooking

I get what you mean, but it seems like you are missing the point of what I'm trying to say.
I never talked about delayed / early reviews, I specifically am referring to the free copies part as being an incentive to give a positive / negative review. As in, giving a game a positive review just because you received a free copy of it, to keep the publisher happy.

If a movie is trash then sales plummet after the first week. The studio bleeds money and may even get mocked online for making something so terrible. I've never heard a single person ask for early movie reviews to protect them from watching a bad movie day one. They just wait a few days.
