Every since Floof went missing for 48 hours, which actually is not all that unusual, but now he is a 'housecat'.
By that I mean he spends more time indoors near my wife than he does outdoors. Which is a dramatic shift.
For a good while all he did was come in, eat, and go back out again.

I love the sound of the rain too. In my country, the countryside homes have either palm leaf or tin/aluminum roofs and the rain falling on them sounds so beautiful.

It's the most soothing sound during a daytime nap or at night

As for the weather, I live in the Southeast USA, so we have very mild winters ( 50F/10C) and super humid hot summers, we can get as high as 90F/32C. Last year was a nonstop heatwave, so the temps were at 100 to 102 F, heat advisories every day.
