I have a dirty little secret. even though I have print disabilities, I had to read the books because I felt like if I didn't, I was missing out. I couldn't put the first book down and read it in two days.

Then my eyes gave up on me and I stopped reading after Goblet of Fire. Since then, I became obsessed with the movies because I'm a film person. That's what I do: memorize them, talk about them, and study them . I made a documentary once for college. It's 11 years old now and it looks horrible because it was made on DV tape and an action cam from Walmart. 😔

If you can get your hands on Dogma, it was like my entire childhood, but my favorite Kevin Smith movie is Mallrats It's from the '90s. I don't like Clerks. I think I'm the only one in the world that doesn't like Clerks, but Mallrats and Dogma are so good. I go to a movie theater almost every weekend. I tell people, jokingly and seriously, that I would live in a movie theater if I could.

Actually, I did get to work in a movie theater for a number of days, but nobody there cared about movies. The atmosphere was depressing 😔 and they kept saying they would fix the automatic door, but they didn't. So I left.

If I had actually gotten the job at the movie theater I wanted to work at, I would probably still be there, even though my body is breaking down daily. But they said they couldn't hire me because of the time I go to bed; I have to go to bed at 8:00 and they wanted me to work until 11:00. I was trying to get an exception, but they wouldn't budge. Tomorrow my friends are taking me to the art museum. I haven't been in a while. My city actually has one of the Water Lily series; it is not the most famous one, but the fact that we have that is like mind-blowing, considering my city pretends to be cool, but it is certainly the opposite, except for a few things that are actually cool. I won't admit it because I hate this city, though.

I'd move out, but the waiting list for housing in the city I want to go to is 10 years long. No joke. But if someone were willing to tie me to the top of a car or plane and take me to California, nobody on the coast I live on would ever see me again. It's a pipe dream, but one that keeps me going, actually.

I have a friend that actually works in the film industry, and I want to be just like him when I grow up. Unfortunately, I am very grown up in number, but not in any way else. I feel very young.
