I think a lot of former Sims players have a lot of animosity toward what EA did to a really beloved franchise. I think a similar fan base of players who felt this way were the Halo players. When you get connected to a series and it's potential is destroyed, it leaves a lot of bitterness.

That's a great way to describe it. I think where it will really shine is in the build mode, that looks really good. The gameplay will probably not feel as immersive as InZoi or the Sims but will probably be good for a very relaxed and cozy vibe. I played a game called Lake and Paralives reminds me of it somewhat. Very chill, cup of tea and candle type of game

Okay, so

My gf has this cousin. This cousin had an on again off again relatinship with this guy for like 8 years

So she gets an oopsie ajd they have a kid together

Anyways

2 years ago, she starts talking to this guy that she met through her old friends

She basically has an emotional affair with him. The baby daddy isn't happy and breaks up with her

He leaves. So she calls this guy over to set up a new projector for her and her son

The baby daddy sees he's connected to the wifi password and all hell breaks loose, and he comes over and takes everything he ever bought

They do decide to co parent at the end of the day

HOWEVER

That guy she had an emotional affair with?

Anyways, a few months later they decide to give things a try for real (and this is where it gets JUICY)

So he starts coming over more often, even staying the night once

For the following week, there was a suspicious car parked outside

Anyways, he visits again, and that very evening, her mom's tired got slashed

So they call the cops snd buy a ring camera

They replace the tires, and the get slashed AGAIN 3 days later. Even the doorbell camera didnt catch anything

Cops are called again

Nobody is caught, but the cousin completely cuts him off
