It just sucks for legacy play when I am forced to one tiny little neighbourhood for the themes I want instead of having a whole world to play in
Since 4-5 lots in each neighbourhood gets filled pretty fast instead of having 12-15 lots to play around with to make lots of families and locations
It's been an issue this past year and seems to be their new approach but it means I end up playing a lot still in older worlds

Which makes it worse when they keep making 60% of new packs gameplay be tied to the new world

What do you mean I can't do bug catching unless I specifically live in Gibbi Point

Why can't they spawn in other worlds???

I REALLY just want a new legacy version of Sims 4 because, even with bugs and issues, I'm happy where my game is at and with the mods I play with
Even as a royalty legacy player I'm still mostly looking for something that is truly new

and this modernised Sims 4 they teased last year and people keep calling a remaster
Isn't it for me either (especially since they outlined it alongside their plans to make a shared marketplace across all games which sounded like it'd be microtransaction hell to me)

Just watched the sims 4 trailer. Is it just me or is there barely any new content in it aside from a 'royal' family tree + job i guess or whatever it'll be,, some dances and sword fighting? All the other stuff is already in the game in some form.

Just seems like they're trying to sell some vibes instead of actual gameplay

Dynasties seems to be for every world but it seems to be tied to all families as a form of legacy tracking (outside of family tree)
Being a royal and having a kingdom is only referenced with the new world

At the investor talk last year which is still recent enough they talked about "modernising" Sims 4 and making it have an online shared market place, online social platform and shared gallery with the other games they're coming out with (Project Rene/Town Stories/MySims)
I actually think what they're working on is a live service version of Sims 4

Battle passes were the first start of that plan

I did see someone say once that as a writer Weekes is really good but not as a lead writer and I do think that explain a lot about DAV
There's some good writing there and some good ideas but the overall execution was just bad

Not just on writing but like
Writing was always what carried DA through all it's past rough patches

DA2 is one of the worst made games I've ever played I mean it's understandable but the jankiness of that game is painful and they reuse the same places 2000 times but just seal off random areas so you always get lost and run into doors that are now closed
The story though Oh man I'll replay DA2 a thousand times just for the story and I can overlook everything else wrong with it because of it

DAV is actually a good game when you look into mechanics and how it plays
I probably will never replay it

I still want to play the entire series from beginning to end so that might be the only time I replay it

I never played them properly chronologically lol. I went from Origins to Inquisition to DA2, back to Inquisition, then Veilguard and then Origins again lol

I think it's more sandbox RPG than sandbox Survival

I actually think the only thing I'm disliking with Hytale is the no hunger bar
There's a lot of food and ways to grow different crops but it's more for buffs than anything else
When I'm more of a person who likes food to matter for survival reasons
But that's like

That's the only flaw I'm finding
