Ummm.. I made the mistake of calling FF9 "Too childish" on youtube and I'm getting lots of negative comments from frustrated fans. They say it's not childish but... From the way Garnet's mother looks, Cid being turned into a toad by his wife and his silly mini-puzzle games, with whatever Quina is and is obsession with eating and cooking mini-game, to that very young Eiko which is playing games to try and get Zidane's attention... and there's at least a dozen other case of those dragging down the game from what I would deem excellent to just above mediocre. The dark situation and backstories to some characters and Queen Brahne's desire to end the world and remove other races and stuff ... yeah that's dark, but the childish element really ruined that game for me... lol.

I slept for 8 months next to an Explosive Ordinance Disposal range, and had 40mm shells going off during the day while I slept for night shift, and that was more tolerable than Memphis TN suburbs
