I always thought all of these things are done simultaneously by separate teams. The build team, the art a d 3d modeling team, the animation team, the coding team. And they all work alongside each other.

Both will go through the same cycle

Like my son is making a Roblox game with his friend. The friend is doing all the art and building, my son is doing the coding and scripting. Amd then they meet and merge what they each have been working on

A. VERY long to make and
B. VERY costly
So you want to make sure the gameplay is fun and the system works before the artists are spending months/years finishing the art just for it to get thrown out

You should decide on what important game systems you want ASAP and make sure they all work with each other
ESPECIALLY with a game with as many complex systems as a life sim

TBH I think the game looks great so it doesn't bother me so much
The only thing that DOES bother me is the flickering lights bug because I'm light sensitive
But that said I'm also playing on max graphics

and sure it's not 2023 graphics but it's still better than a lot of games I play

I can touch type for up to 30 wpm.

we took touch typing courses in school but i could never get the grammar bit right

I learned to touch type when I was 12 years old. Self taught, out of a book.
I did so because I was doing amateur radio at the time and it was the fastest way to copy morse code.
You eventually get to the point where you hear a dit dah and the a finger goes off without even thinking about it.

Hell when I was a boy I could talk on the phone, copy morse code, and flip through a magazine at the same time 😄
