Had a dream where I woke up still driving my little hybrid prius but I was in the future. And these were like some super futuristic cars and they had little friendly robots with eletronic faces that were driving the car and they had little suits on and they were going to get gas while the human sat in the back. And I put my own gas in the car while I was fueling I had walked over to a car that slightly had their window open and I was asking them, "Excuse me where did you get your robot?" But none of them were interested in talking to me they just rolled up their windows, which I guess is fine they dont have to talk to me a random stranger but its kinda rare where I live, everyone usually is kind if you show kindness first. Oh well. I was done fueling and then I got onto the highway and all the cars were driving so fast and then I saw the buildings were so tall and it was triggering megalophpbia in me and I then I saw a train coming down some train tracks, it was so fast and I had said.. "I dont recognize my home anymore..I dont even know where it is or how to drive to it.." 😔

Never played The Sims (except for like an hour back in 2014 - might have been that game), and their engine is more than 10yo. It's due for a remake on a better platform.

I would wish them luck, but I have had a bone to pick with EA for a very VERY long time.
Still, if their hard work makes for some competition, maybe InZOI could benefit too !
Plus a lot of ppl like Sims (but are annoyed at TS4), so if it's you favorite franchise, I wish you the best you can get from it !

And Sims 4 released in 2014 and the release was horrible and back then the game was about 60€.. but they keep forgetting that and I think that's not fair. Honestly, the sims 4 being around for eternity wouldnt have been such an outrageously bad thing (like imagine your favourite game still getting updated and adding new content). Unfortunately, the base game is legitimately a broken mess. So broken that when the sims 4 came out, people immediately started asking for a sims 5 (i was one of these people) because it was such a massive step back (even from the very first sims game released in 2000) that people had no hope that itll ever improve. They were right of course cause here we are over a decade later and the game is even worse that it was cause back then it was still playable (even though it was a steaming pile of dog 💩)

Aside from the bugs, the core of the game itself just isnt it. Insanely broken emotional system, traits that dont make sense, brainless bafoons running around with eyebrows up to their hairlines and loading screen to see your next door neighbour
