Proton hotfix, and don't add custom textures It's only gonna run well without mods or textures then it goes downhill fast.

I attempted to manually add 100 textures & it lagged the deck so bad I had to manually reboot it.

No idea It defaulted to proton hotfix when I installed

Gotta say least on deck of installing custom textures it's as bad as sims 3 at that point on lag.

Bare basic settings on very low, textures ultra & proton hotfix can get you a couple hours of play without too much issue.

Though looking at things Sims may be better for the deck if you want customization least that runs.

This game is gonna get worse on deck soon as they integrate that mod thing,
If deck can't handle a load of custom textures without causing massive lag it's not gonna get better sadly.

It runs on low with no extra textures no mods but that will change the more that's added
