tbh i'm not entirely sure. I deleted the mesh entirely and remade it. It's just a copy of the bottom of the bottle's mesh with a face added to the top and tweaked. Once I remade it, it worked fine! 🤷‍♀️

there was a point while making this mesh that i disabled visibility on the bottle, and when i enabled the visibility again it looked like there was no texture on the bottle at all. I had to tweak the texture node for the texture to show back up

unreal itself uses quite a bit of recourses already but for rendering, it doesnt take up that much more than its already using tho

but with the use of some new tech it kinda is cutting down, tho the engine its quite heavy on space and to some extent your cpu/ram

@slate karma wanting to make a simple building, never done it before so i rly dunno how to go about it properly. I deleted faces for the door and window, but I'm really not sure how to go about fixing the inside so the edges arent so sharp here. At first I thought bridging faces but I can't figure out how to do that in a way that doesn't make the faces slightly diagonal. Maybe extruding inward, then outward? then deleting the faces and bridging the faces to create a doorframe or smth? any ideas? 🤔

well for starters you might wanna turn of sub divisions/shade smoothing/bevels

itll make working with the mesh easier

for stuff like pillars and door frames, i assume youd want to join/make new faces

you can do that by extruding the face and merging the vertices OR and much better option

select the edge of 1 area then select the edge of the other and click 'F'

you can do this with vertices as well

it creates bridg between them making a new face/edge

if u dont understand properly you can try it out and see if thats what your looking for
