Because of the way 'full edit' works, you need to enable cheats first. Then, get the ID of the Zoi you want to edit. Open the cheat panel (Ctrl+Shift+C or press Esc and click the cheat panel option) and type 'Showzoiid true', then 'customzoi [id]' without the brackets.

Good call. I don't recommend it. Its not just the game it messes with, its also the steam engine - which as result messes up with all my other games. Which I dont understand how that works but some how there is a link.

I had mods disabled in the game until the last issue I had (if you remember when I was posting nonstop about it here). I finally managed to get my Steam to work and decided to risk it and disabled the mods. Havent had issues since until I re-enabled mods

now my Steam engine wont open suddenly.

The folder named mods in the game files is the one, and you'll most likely be able to tell they're the mods coz of the file name (hairstyle or smt)

I also had to manually delete them coz when I had them, the disable feature in the game wasn't working & my saves kept crashing

I hope the mod system becomes smoother later, the time I actually got to use them they were rlly fun to mess with

idt it was their worst dlc at all but i always dreaded my sims getting famous for the most random reasons and then they would get swarmed by paparazzis and orher sims would start acting weird around them, and it also irked me to see other big celebrities in the most random places and ruining my gameplay 😭

I dont mind seeing Dua Lipa, but not on every lot, not in every McDonald that I visite in the sims XD And I couldnt find mods that would reduce it, there were some, but they were mostly outdated

I came back to Inzoi after a while and thought maybe there was something new in the game, but there wasn't. Even if character creation is fun, the gameplay is not. I need some lore for the game, some NPCs. i hope developers will think about it cuz i feel like there is no point of playing it.

yeah... but it doesn't make sense to play more. i like to be surprised in gameplay. i used to be a heavy Sims, 2 player and the game was packed with the lore. going to shops in the game is still disappointing cuz you still have to self-check. The cashier doesn't even have the special interactions. They just stand in front of desk and exist. it would be cool if they served your food or even small gestures like paying with cash and ordering. i think they should focus on making those little things more realistic and believable. and adding some lore to the game, especially with NPCs, would also help a lot.

making up stories is the only way you can enjoy the game but i don't think it should be the point of the game. you should be surprised and engaged to play more. but it feels soulless for me. 🙁

you can make all these suggestions in the threads for future updates, the devs always listen to our recommendations :) They improved a lot more other areas, like being able to have job interviews, retirement parties, dedicated lunch times at work where every zoi actually leaves their desk to eat with everyone, team projects etc.. Theres also freelance careers like delivery or writer and we can own businesses. We’re also definitely gonna get an update for restaurants. They cant just improve everything at once

Life yes but it’s complicated. What I mean is i don’t feel attached my zois, and no matter how different I make them the gameplay is basically the same. My zois fall in love immediately, have kids, et ol. I felt like no matter what career path or what personalities they had the game still felt empty even with a lot of content. Pets would likely fix that

To combat this i made myself a challenge in a "not so berry" style where each gen has goals, personality, backstory etc. It helps give them distinct personalities and varies my playstyle a lot.

Apple/iCloud does support cloud saves for some App Store games, but it’s a lot less consistent and depends on the developer. Steam is usually just easier if you switch Macs or ever play on another platform later.

Try the compatibility when you right-click inzoi and you open up settings (properties) , you get a pop-up menu. There you can select that, which Proton version you want. For me CachyOS Proton works well. Maybe you need to install ProtonPlus or proton QT to get it, maybe it came pre-installed.

Family gameplay includes diverse systems for multiple age groups. It's a huge undertaking. Crime was simpler to smash out (not easy, just simpler) and was a win on the board.

What I worry about is that InZOI already takes us much more by the nose than it did a year ago, I wouldn't want it to become a click fest with never ending clicking mechanics/perks. I like a simulation that breathes.
Para does not seem so bad at it even with those mechanics though. which is nice. But they need to work on that autonomy a bit more.

Plus I don't really like the character graphics, but I was spoiled in InZOI so... heh.

We need a lot more recipes (those we have in the fridge / those instant food) we need to be able to craft them and every skill level needs something new. scaling them from 10 to 20 (or 30) as long as they are not "empty levels" would be nice

• Sleeping gauge is bugged, most need gauges are bugged in 4 hours or more... you can recoop 80% depletion in 3-4 hours of sleep in 96min... like wut!?
• Needs depletion needs to be moved back over time, and remove the artificial tempering they added at some point
• Allow moving household even with newborns and todders
• Rework and bring back the removed content like the 4-5 Enneagrams, the Karma control, and being able to affect townies
• Door permissions (still borked as of 0.2.0 - was semi-ok in 0.1.0 then got borked and never fixed)
• Fix the eating mechanics which was broken around september, now zois do anything and everything and waste lots of food
• House/town cleanliness has been bugged for a long time (was working fine before)
• Applicance requireing fixing has been bugged for a long time (was working fine before)
• Zois autonomy got messed-up and they dont get much wishes for their preferences anymore and do not act on them much (give a zoi piano preference and they play guitar all day), that too was working fine until it wasn't
• "Clean here" option no longer being able to be queued.
• Sound was removed at the "Miracle of life" screen after giving birth
• Sleeping after 7am or before 11pm bugs out and zois keep waking up.
• you can no longer add family members with ties (parent/child link) by editing a family like you could before. All roommates now.

And I have much much more on my bug/issues list.
Most of these are core issues. They should not have issues one year after Early access begun
And some worked fine in earlier version, then got broken and never fixed.

Said this before but with games like inZOI, the instability in early access is belive is intentional.

The goal is to release an unfinished build so players can push the systems to their limits. This helps expose bugs, crashes, and performance issues early, so they can be fixed before the full release. In that sense, the game gets “broken,” but by player interaction rather than deliberate design.

Also, inZOI is built on Unreal Engine 5, So the higher risk of breaking is mainly due to the complexity of the game’s systems (like AI and simulation), which are still being refined.

Overall, early access is less about intentional instability and more about large-scale testing under real player conditions.

Have patience with it. We are testers for these reason.

I refunded the game not only due to the gameplay but also because the textures were awful. I’m a big fan of cartoon style games, but the furniture and objects didn't look 'cartoony' in a good way. Oh I misunderstood I love inzoi, in fact in many regards version 0.1.0 era up to before 0.2.0 was much better IMHO. We had less content, less towns, but game felt better. Of course I can only talk for me.

Oh, don't get me wrong, that's an issue that even I am seeing, and it's still consistent through different aspects of the game. "It lacks polish and depth" might be an understatement.

However, I'm also trying to consider that they are trying to do everything at once:

• Fulfill players' requests
• Fix bugs
• Prep for consoles
• Ensure to test the game to its limit, adding different types of features.

Inzoi being 3 years old means, even if you speed up its development with money, it's still a child in comparison. Ideas are not fully fleshed out or worked out, and players are the people that give it brains for the most part.

So criticisms are important in this, but you can't deny that they are working hard, to the point Kjun is staying overtime.

Compliment the things they do well, criticize what they do wrong, but remember to take a break; it's early access and you are not a full-time mom to it.

Yes and no... it basically went like this:

"Here are all the cool things you can do. Good luck!" And that also applies to farming and gathering.

I think having an almost tutorial but human-ish way of introducing things would be cooler.

E.g., a board registering for the plants association, or a friend talking about plants to you and asking (like a business update), "Want me to teach you?"

Small details like that not put behind just the phone or a card would be massive.

This got worse in the recently patches, the autonomy got messed up good.
It used to be they did their preferences often on their own no less, now they hardly do.
I give one a preference in piano and it's guitar all day.
They're broken. I hope they fix them, it's annoying as heck now.

on inzoi I now play on the Ultra Preset with Frame Gen 4x and I get a stable 190 - 220fps (okay well obviously not "stable" but it feels relatively good)

1. Paralives has had fans for over 7 years; they built their foundation on people's emotional and financial investment. People will support even its minor failures.

2. Inzoi was a year old idiot when it came out which used money to advertise it self and oversold expectations.

3. People are either waiting for more content or won't let its bad rep from launch, being mainly "AI" slop, die down.

4. Most YouTubers don't cover it often or at all.

5. Some people have genuine criticisms and are waiting until that gets better.

6. Its Paralives is the shiny new thing. So its numbers are obv high atm. Thats to be monitored

Paralives went through the same thing inZOI is going through since it released early access: an unpolished early access launch with bugs and missing features.

The difference is that because inZOI comes from a bigger company and didn't have more development time before an early access release, so people somehow got mad thinking an early access means a polished game. But now with Paralive, all of a sudden, it's okay to be buggy and unfinished during early access. It's total bias. InZOI is still in early access and has been improving. I would say, it has a lot more gameplay than Paralives.

This is a quiet period also, their doing a lot of foundation building of the game mechanics with the community leading up to the full release. A lot of people are waiting for it to be in a more complete state before revisiting. Once it gets to that point you will see it being promoted a lot more

I started on console and then I went to PC and it was a whole new world, even when they had that Simstagram community, I liked the adult mods cus it brought realism to my game as well as the regular violence etc. It just got to expensive fr they started milking the community even now

Honestly I’m playing paralives and it’s not better than inzoi. Not worst either just different. People just don’t give inzoi a chance because they are so used to a cartoonish style. After playing the sims 4 that’s what they got use to it. Also inzoi devs trusted and realy in the wrong influencers to promote the game. They devs haven’t done a single gameplay and uploaded in their channel. While paralives the actual devs and produces play the game in their channels.
