I think after putting a good amount of time into the first save for a lot of Stardew-type games, Dinkum is probably the only one I might occasionally come back to. That’s mainly because it positions itself pretty uniquely, with vertical terraforming, a really light ARPG element, and a small but still fully open world.

Well. I tried putting "Wants to pull weeds of her crops" or "Wants to pull weeds" or "wants to remove weeds" in smartZoi. Sadly my character does not understand. She watered a few plants, added normal fertilizer on farming lot already 100% fertilized, And sniffed a few plants.

I'd suggest posting about it on the forums, but no I haven't heard them say anything about it

They pretty much ignore the forum so it's not worth posting ideas, feedback, or even bug reports. The majority of bugs reported that multiple people also experience, yet they're nowhere to be found in the Known Issues lists even MONTHS after multiple detailed reports are made!!

They will do hotfixes for crashes, but ignore the majority of bug posts! Posting anything else is only for interaction with others who feel the same or maybe don't. But the devs only care about Discord, no matter what a Discord mod says.

I would guess suggestions to post on the forum are a polite way to say there's no point in discussing what the member had written about.

No offence meant to hard working mods!!!! ❤️❤️ It's not your fault or any other mod that the forum is completely ignored but you should consider other nice ways to discourage discussions than by directing them to the forum. It's the figurative "under the rug."

We have to direct people to the forum 'cause it's the protocol given to us by Krafton. They don't want tech support & bug reports going through the Discord anymore unfort.

I would say that just because it isn't on the known issues list doesn't mean it isn't on the internal one and they haven't seen it. There's a lot of bugs and things under consideration that we might not know about. Sometimes devs need to know a bug's happened a certain amount of times to know that it wasn't a one-off, etc.

I feel they've listened well to bug reports in the past, many of the bugs I reported have been answered and resolved. But I haven't played or reported much in the last few months so it could've gone downhill again

I've also seen some bug reports that have been pretty useless, with people not sharing their save file or proper info. It's hard for devs to handle a bug report if barely any info is given. Make sure to take good care of your bug reports and give them everything they need.

Also many bugs are caused by modding or cc which makes it even harder to find out where the real bugs are hiding.

On the bug reports you need to put if you used mods (all cc other than player-made textures applied to official content is a mod) or still do.

I'm a proud permanent member of the "Never Used Mods" group. I see no point in adding mods to an unfinished game, and I don't like game mods in general.

Any troubleshooting help we provide and have provided has been through our own personal efforts. People may try to reach out for help here. However, if it is an apparent issue that cannot be solved by the help of the community, we encourage people to report the bugs to the inZOI Forum and/or using the support portal (see #report-a-bug ). Some bugs take longer than others to fix. Some are much quicker. Some may actually be a part of a much bigger problem. When we direct people to the forum or support portal, it is as my colleague said part of the protocol given to us by Krafton, but also because we genuinely want people to get direct help from the support staff that can assist. That doesn't stop you from continuing to talk about the issues and trying to troubleshoot here. You can even mention it in #1387652526156808283 threads. However, I would discourage saying we as the Discord staff are trying to sweep issues under the rug

I didn't intend to imply that the Discord mods suggest posting on the forum to brush the issues under the rug. I don't think that's the intention of the Discord mods at all. I mentioned how the forum is ignored completely and obviously that's not related to the Discord mods. The forum is the "under the rug" of the dev team, and obviously the Discord mod team has nothing to do with that unless they're a developer, and I think all the mods here are volunteers.

I also agreed that bug reports need to be posted there, but I was writing about the way even bug reports are ignored.

I'm sorry that you missed what caused me to post at all. A player wanted to know about the appearance of stockings, which has been brought up several times in the Kjun brainstorming threads even. Anyhow, the player was directed to post about it over on the forum, and that's when I stated my opinion and experience with the forum.

Everything other than bug reports obviously belongs in the Kjun brainstorming threads because that's the only place it will be seen. That's what I'm saying.

I agree with Starwing that InZoi really needs a better bug-reporting system. Some reports are tackled right away; others are simply ignored for months on end even if there are multiple people confirming the issue. There should be some indication that each report has been received, acknowledged and logged by the devs, even if it's considered a low-priority issue. As for posting anything other than bug reports there, you may as well be yelling into a void - its only use is for players to discuss amongst themselves, not as a way for feedback to be seen and acknowledged.

just my 2 cents, but they must also be able to re-create the bug, to even see how to fix it or what causes it. and some bugs they know will show up due to other things, and would rather wait till other things resolve them by themselves. The easy fixes are what we see. Maybe they also want to be careful in labelling something as a bug that might as well be a design flaw, causing "bugs".
It is definitely frustrating. because we don't even know, when we just keep on reporting them, but we shouldn't give up thinking they don't see them

For instance, I know what causes Canvas to upload extra textures than what are used on the zoi or outfit. Now that we can see how many textures are on an item, I've seen quite a few with 20+ textures on an outfit that uses 1 or 2. (I also found out many of my older uploads come with unintended and unused textures).

This leads to completely unnecessary bloat that less tech-savvy players might not even catch (especially when textures were imported or generated a long time ago).

I've explained how it happens, and it can absolutely be reproduced by anyone uploading items to Canvas that make use of custom textures, and created their upload through a pretty natural workflow.

If you want to make an outfit, you might try out a few textures before you find the right one, then size and position it carefully, and you might continue with the rest of the creation. If you do, when you upload it, every single texture you tried but didn't choose still gets attached to your Canvas upload.

To avoid the issue, find the right texture and settings, then switch to a default piece of clothing you were not customizing, then select the one you want to make your creation with and apply the texture and settings you want.

There's another way to accidentally upload extra textures, but it's more involved than I should get into here. 😂

I have constant slowdowns when playing this game and pop ins and frame drops it takes me out of the experience a little bit and I want a smooth gameplay experience. It's not just a question of 'reproducing'; there are issues present in everyone's game (such as public buildings being nearly impossible to enter using point-and-click after they closed off the interiors, and elevators being broken in point-and-click mode) which they simply refuse to acknowledge at all. Other things are dismissed as 'not a bug' even though they clearly cause massive problems for players (like being unable to save all outfit categories in a Zoi preset). At one point they changed the length of the eating animation, and it ended up being ridiculously slow in any day length other than 48min - this was airily dismissed as 'intentional' by the devs without anyone even checking to see what the actual problem was. It took a massive pile-on from dozens of players to get it acknowledged as a bug.

If multiple people are reporting the same issue it needs to be acknowledged and checked out. If the devs struggle to reproduce it, that's one thing; having them simply ignore the report, or dismiss obvious bugs as an intentional 'feature', is quite another.

I just got an idea from watching Paralives early access.

But what if Zoïs had personal requests unique to their needs, age, activities, jobs, hobbies, or feelings that boost their relationship with each other?

Example: A Zoï got cheated on, and she calls her friend. The Zoï I play either mediates with her partner or insults that partner.

Or my child Zoï lost a toy. I help her find it, ask someone else, or tell her to stop complaining about it. (These are things that can be seen instead of just texts.)

Maybe the actions enhances nit just relationship the values boosts as well. (Though I feel values dont influence gameplay much rn)

I like to play in a way where I build the home I want my Zoi/sim to live in. Then they have to earn the money to move into the new flashy home on the block that everyone is ogling.

I will build smaller homes for gameplay. For my gameplay it makes more sense to move constantly that to be able to afford renovation constantly.
